I think in Chinese it gives me the feeling of reading a recipe and a very “coarse” one at that. However that last part doesn’t sound derogatory to me.
My suggested TL: The so called ‘Stars In The Sky’. First, pour a cup of hot water and then throw in a some ground tea leaves, giving a momentary feeling of a sky full of stars.
The tea leaves aren’t used, they’re just the small pieces of tea that aren’t worth to be sold and often contain bad/more bitter pieces like stems. Normal tea is actually full leaves; nowadays we use the ‘dregs’ to make commercial tea products but back then could only be sold to poor people.
My bucket can’t be called a bucket. There is no bottom to it… (I read brandon Sanderson storm light book 1 and 2, around 2200 pages in hardback form in just a week.) and I did the same for the 100 chapters of this that was out when I started reading last week 😀
I was just wondering. Doesn’t “Zai Xia” mean “at underneath” or “at below”?? Like as in, “Bi Zai Chuang Xia Mian” or “the pen is under the bed”?? P.S. My Chinese speaking just barely qualifies as somewhat fluent, and I can just barely read and write a bit of Chinese………. d TT n TT b

Well, more than a bit. The prologue alone gives away some pretty massive things about the ending to DD1, and according to pandafuq it gets even hairier later on.
This is such a wonderful piece. It keeps you wanting more. I am not much of a reader but this I just had to read. It’s way better than some of the manga’s that I often read because with this I can use my own imagination. If only I had a mental/ mind camera, I swear I can make a 10 stars movie out of it. When I’m reading it’s like I am completely in a different world and everything around me just doesn’t exist anymore. This is really amazing. Thanks for the wonderful job of translating it.
