2/ He is ‘sandbagging’ by not using hidden weapons because he was flat out told they are not allowed to be used in the arena. A large amount of his combat potential is based around his knowledge of hidden weapons, so I would say he is at slightly less than 1/2 strength in this situation.
It is also true that he wants them to remain hidden, but he also wanted to conceal his spider legs and used them in the tournament. We don’t think anyone noticed, but they were there to be utilised.
3/ I never said he can’t complain, but going into a depressed slump for several days due to tieing with a group of experts years older than him who are all using their full un-sandbagged strength is just being self-indulgent.
4/ I never said I hated him. I hated this particular action.

I disagree. By my estimation with his new found cultivation ability, he can complete approximately three weeks worth in a day of deep focus. This is monstorus in itself. I’ve no clue if the story will head in such a direction. But if does then he will easily pop rank by next competition. He said himself an hour feels like one night with mimicry.
That’d be awesome but I believe he’s going to be focusing on things other than just cultivating raw spirit power. I do believe he’s going to be focusing on how to use it more effectively instead of just relying on the raw effects/increasing it’s raw power.

Yeah, long-term, that should mean he could do a year’s worth of cultivation in 12 days. That becomes 2 years’ worth in less than a month, and 30 years worth in 1 year, with 5 days to spare. That’s only if he were to cultivate all day, every day for 360 full days though.

Dogu bo got it wrong. The thing that makes him a freak is his poison! A kid that knows how to make such deadly poison at such a young age? Thats much scarier than cultivating the bsg.
It depends, I think Dogu currently just thinks that he was trained by someone to use poison and create it in the ways that he does. Also that he is exceptionally intelligent for his age and thus was able to learn those methods quickly. Also consider the fact that in this world it is common knowledge that BSG is a trash spirit in which there are no records of anyone being able to cultivate it successfully. Therefore while there are poison masters, to the knowledge of the majority there are zero spirit masters that managed to cultivate BSG successfully. Let alone at a speed which puts the person at a pace to break the record four youngest Doulou (or whatever the term is…it escapes me).
Anyway, the ultimate point is that both things make him a freak, but in the world of the story I believe the BSG cultivation is the more astonishing and less explainable when factoring in typical common sense. i wonder why people always made a big deal about tang san being so young and being lvl 40+ when basically ALL his teammates are under 15 and lvl 40+ except for xiao wu and she broke pretty much every record except the top three from the golden generation and shrek’s 7.

Yeah I agree, there was both plot and character development with this chapter and it added depth to what happened and gave a teaser of what is to come. I also like that Dugu Bo was the foil, crusty evil dude telling Tang to sack up but in a really helpful way. Now I’m not sure how to take your post. Since I can’t find the one post I saw that contained spoilers I’m guessing its been deleted or edited. If there were more I didn’t see them and so my response is based on the one post I actually did see.
That was one post with a spoiler that was declared in a way that many online web serials deem appropriate in their comments. If the person didn’t know informing them and then altering or deleting the post seems to me like a far more appropriate measure. Addmitedly the info in the sidetab is pretty clear but I’m not sure if that is new or not.
I’m not saying spoilers should be included here since if there is a forum and it is wished that only there spoilers should be shared thats understandable.

If he can use his 40th spirit ring to make steel cages, then technically shouldn’t he should be able to turn his blue silver grass into hidden weapons if he controls the amount of spirit power he uses, so each blade of grass becomes a real blade?
Unlikely. The way spirit ring abilities function is pretty static. That’s the way the spirit ring works. If he mastered control of it he might be able to make it taller/shorter and use it to pierce someone with the tips as they close in, but in the end it’ll still function the same way and his standard BSG won’t have the full mechanics of it even if he masters control over it.
Can someone please give me the English phonetic pronunciation of douluo and a few main characters? After reading so much it’s become annoying to not know how to say the words. Thank you in advance!

The oldest is only 17, the youngest should be 13 by now, I think? The age limit for this tournament is 25. The Emperor team from a ilttle while back, who were at rank 30~37, were all in their early 20’s. And they were so strong that the Arena couldn’t find anyone to fight them.

Yeah I agree, there was both plot and character development with this chapter and it added depth to what happened and gave a teaser of what is to come. I also like that Dugu Bo was the foil, crusty evil dude telling Tang to sack up but in a really helpful way. The translators are doing an awesome job, we should be grateful for the amazing speed and consistency!

The translators really are doing an awesome job! I tried reading the google translated version of the original story on the chinese site, and well….just don’t. I got lost in a few sentences, and this was on the chapter that had already been translated here.
So keep it up, bagelson! I can’t complain at all in the face of your awesome translation skills! 😀

I know some of the other places detest trolls like this and ip bann them.Sucks that they feel just because they couldn’t hold it in and spoil it for themselves,that they should also ruin it for others.

Now I’m not sure how to take your post. Since I can’t find the one post I saw that contained spoilers I’m guessing its been deleted or edited. If there were more I didn’t see them and so my response is based on the one post I actually did see.
That was one post with a spoiler that was declared in a way that many online web serials deem appropriate in their comments. If the person didn’t know informing them and then altering or deleting the post seems to me like a far more appropriate measure. Addmitedly the info in the sidetab is pretty clear but I’m not sure if that is new or not.
I’m not saying spoilers should be included here since if there is a forum and it is wished that only there spoilers should be shared thats understandable.
It can be that there were more posts that actually would make your request for a ban or even an IP ban more reasonable but since I didn’t see them your post seems like an overreaction.

I think that he’s going to make his bsg incorporate with hidden weapons mechanics and be as deadly as hidden weapong because what his bsg is lacking some kind of attack power.

If he can use his 40th spirit ring to make steel cages, then technically shouldn’t he should be able to turn his blue silver grass into hidden weapons if he controls the amount of spirit power he uses, so each blade of grass becomes a real blade?

Unlikely. The way spirit ring abilities function is pretty static. That’s the way the spirit ring works. If he mastered control of it he might be able to make it taller/shorter and use it to pierce someone with the tips as they close in, but in the end it’ll still function the same way and his standard BSG won’t have the full mechanics of it even if he masters control over it.

Better to just take the characters and plug them into Google Translate, then clicking the text-to-speech button beneath. i think this would sound better if you say: The more spirit power i use the more violently they collide the greater the piercing power. also there are minor typos like ny instead of my. wish you have someone who can look through the errors and make changes. not that its effecting the reading in anyways but when i go back and read the story the second or third time i cant help but notice those things xD
