I tried MGA, but the MC is a prick. Even though I forced myself to read through those first 140 chapters waiting for new DD releases, I still dislike it as much (if not more) as when I read the first 15. Coiling Dragon seems to be just a bit better. But singular character novels lose a lot to DD. The team battles and multiple characters varied progressions, makes it much more appealing. When I become a dad, I ‘ll definitely give DD to my kids to read 🙂

1. Was Zhuqing always like this?
2. There’s so much malice to a man’s lower region in this series, I never want to meet people as evil as the Shrek seven Devils.
1. I think so, it’s only in this chapter that we get to see her logic behind it, but it’s been hinted that the two have relations since before Shrek as well as her loving Mubai.
(Her logic on picking him is pretty spartan tho, and if he fails she plans for yandere end…)
2. Uhh, pretty sure cheating will cause such malice in any series really. Zhuqing being from Spartan-ish family also doesn’t help.
lol.. Zhu Zhuqing is really a cool beauty! saying ‘i don’t care when you’re flirting with other girls, but if i find you disappointing me by losing or cheating i’ll kill you’ …i just realize she’s a yandere without the stalker habit..

Not sure if I have this wrong but in the previous chapter Mumbai’s opponent was only lvl 39 why does it say he had a fourth ring in this chapter? Anyone know?
Yeah you are correct that was my bad. I just fee that the author is making the characters stupidly strong and no one can stand up to them anymore. The previous chapter and the matches Xiao Wu had were ridicule stupid to say the least.
If you think about it the characters aren’t stupidly strong. In the world they are in they are still weak. Also this is a tournament where only the best of the best get in. Its not surprise that they opponents would be strong
Seriously confused at all the mood swings. They are in a fight with super powers effectively. Yet minor injuries are treated like they shouldn’t have ever happened. While larger ones, they act like its impossible to accidentally go overboard and hurt someone badly. It’s like everyone is the most sore of sore loosers.
The visuals of this fight in my head was “over-the-top-awesome” just… Wow. And like I suspected far earlier, mubai and Zhu are engaged. Thanks for the chap
Yh and Dai Mubai ranks first amongst my fav Characters in dd. And in top ten of my fav characters in LN’s. Not that its ur business but …just so you know
