Ha, I was just worried today about no new chapters for a longer time aaand then… Dingdingdingdingding, 6 new mails, all with new chapters ;3 thanks for release!
So Salas is about to embark on the route of his death then. Cause he is now planning to kill the MC which in all novels spells certain doom. I’m just wondering by which method his death will come. Will it come from the father hidden in the winds or will it come from Tang San himself?
Salas knows about the Clear Sky Hammer, so he SHOULD know right away that Tang San’s father is the Title Douluo. You’d think he would be a bit more cautious in that case.
You’d think that but he seems fairly shortsighted sometimes. And he still doesn’t know the true extent of Tang Sans power which makes me think the odds of him dying by Tang Sans hands higher.
Actually, it has been said in the story that only the direct descendants of the school inherit the Clear Sky Hammer, which is why Tang Hao’s brother doesn’t have it.
Erg, it won’t let me reply on your new comment. Anyway, I can’t remember where Tang Tian is mentioned, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t say anything about him not having the Clear Sky hammer. I did find this though, “Only the direct blood relations can possess it. And among the direct blood relations of the school, only master has been away for a number of years straight, also only master’s name is Tang Hao…”, and that also doesn’t imply that only Tang Hao and Tang San have the hammer. That just implies that Tang San is the only one born in recent history, that they are aware of. And in one of those chapters I just looked through, they called Tang Hao and his brother the ‘twin duoluo of the Clear Sky school’. Which could just be referring to them both being title duoluo affiliated with Clear Sky school, but could also refer to them both having the Clear Sky Hammer and being title duoluo.
Thats Also The Exact Same Assumption I Draw From That, Quote As Well.
Direct Decendents Could Clearly Mean Both Brothers Having A Hammer, Although.
We Dont Know, If It Was The Father Or Mother Who Had The Hammer In Thier First Place.
Also, Are They Really ” True Brothers ” Or Just ” Half Brothers ” ?
But, I Still Take It As They Are Brothers, They Should Both Be Decpendants From The Same Bloodline
After all, Resulting In Both Having One Each.
Then Again Only The Future Chapters Can Tell, How It Really Is, As It Is Very ” Cryptic ” Information, Love IT !
Felt like it took me an hour to read, can’t imagine how long it took to translate!
If it’s 6 chapters times 3 parts each, that comes out once a day, is this 18 days worth of releases? 😮
best day eveeeeer. Took my eyes away from the screen only once for a potty break! 😀 I think i could read this nonstop for 72 hours before colapsing or loosing eyesight. (read chapters 30-104 in 2 and a half days before and still wanted more!!!!!!!!)
Lol silly Salas
With the two titled doulus and the supreme pontiff nonsense person of the spirit hall, that’s still going against several top tier clans, along with a high chance of backing from heaven dou empire, and the poison doulu… along with the teachers, that’s like 4 titled doulus having Tang San’s back, gg
Now that’s he’s revealed, Sky Hammer will probably protect him, or at least watch out for the clan’s interests, so Sky Hammer’s Titled duolu would protect him. His father obviously too. So that’s 2. The Seven Tiled Padoga clan has a keen interesting in having him alive, not only as a powerful friend as an ally, so the other 2 from the family, that’s 4. There’s the Poison Duolu, so that’s 5. That plus all the other clans, an empire, academies and what not, I think it’s okay to say he’s got his back covered.
Thing is his father already broken ties with the Clear Sky School, so the backing from Tang Sans uncle is highly unlikely, but hey beside for the people who read ahead, we will never know what will happen.
Though there already are a few people who spoiled some stuff for me (those assholes) and with the approaching chapters, it’s just a matter of time before i see the unfortunate events that will occur…
Yeeeaaahhh.. I dunno what exactly is going on but after this chapter I don’t see anything good coming from this. I think the wisest decision that could be made after he revealed his hammer is giving up on the tournament and going into hiding, because if he wasn’t a prime target before.. he surely is now. The wisest decision before that was to throw the match and still continue into the tournament with rather good position as second instead of putting everybody around him in danger.
My cousin read ahead at least several dozen chapters. She said poison doulu was killed protecting little San from his uncle and Little San still got seriously wounded. Clear Sky members apparently wanted to groom Little San as the clan head secretly cause of harsh infighting and the uncle being a tyrant, but the uncle wanted his own son to lead the clan and also cause he hated Little San’s parents for some reason. Uh not sure but i think something happened to Little San’s woman, cause my cousin said she isnt around right now, but didn’t tell me anything else. She’s prolly fine though.
Well i dont care much. She could be lying.
Ugh, im gonna be worrying about this for weeks. Shit. I need to stop listening to her, nothing good ever comes of it.
Lol…there goes another spoiler that i did not want to read. If you said poison doulu got killed fighting Tang Tang San’s uncle, then it is not all impossible since the Clear Sky hammer is OP as fk and Tang hao was able to kick 2 titled doulu’s ass himself alone, but it will be pretty sad if he does die… Their relationship was quite exquisite, from being enemy to being friends, bonding over the talk of poison. It will be like Tang San losing Tang Sect all over again >.<
Hey she could have lied just to spite me. Though i think it would be more like Linley from CD loosing his pseudo-grandfather. Honestly i wouldnt pay it any mind for now. . .
‘Cause. . .
The thing is. . .
I totally made all that up 🙂
I know, im a douche. I dont even have a cousin. Well, i do, but she cant read raws.
Just like messing with people, sorry. Haha, im awful 🙂
So rest easy friend, no spoilers here
I dont know if his cousin was high as fck but everything there is not correct. The only thing thats not bullshit is about xiao wu (little dance), tang san’s woman. That wasnt even spoiling. So dont worry.
Spoilers bad. Don’t want them. Glad I noticed before I got too far into it ~.~ People will rage over you posting stuff like this, please refrain from doing so in the future even if you’re not sure if it’s true or not.
You talking to Sten or me? Cause i just made up a bunch of crap, cause i like messing with people. None of it was true.
Oi, ya hear this Sten? Its all bullshit. I assume you didn’t read the last post i made saying so, or just misunderstood somthing.
I shall apologise in advance for what I am going to write.
…What two titled Doulous?…And the Supreme Pontiff nonsense person of spirit hall is exactly the one that’s behind Salas! And the Heven Dou Empire’s tittled Doulou is Poison Doulou! And what teachers!?The teachers aren’t even titled Doulou.Unless you mean the three of them using the whatever formation.
Oh my god!Its been awhile since I’ve seen such a stupid comment.
If you properly read the novel you’d understand that the Supreme Pontiff has zero relation to the current events related to Salas’s action AND is in love with Grandmaster, so the likelihood she’d back anything that would harm her romantic interests disciple is nil… The 2 Titled are obviously Bone and Sword which are under the employ of the Seven Treasures school… Bo is interested personally in Tang’s growth, his father is god-level OP for some reason and I think it quite likely that until we know more why Tang Hao left the school we have no reason from discounting Tang San’s UNCLE from mobilizing the school… So that’s 5 Titled against 3 for the entire Temple…. So really I have to say it’s been a while since I’ve seen a comment as stupid as YOURS, good day to your ignorance
don’t forget grandmaster’s family has 1 titled douluo and if the other two top 3 clans make a move they have no reason not to 🙂 it would probably be 6 douluo with the best support + a hell of a lot of people..
but the problem is the supreme pontiff.. though I haven’t read ahead or anything I just kinda get the feeling she’s the other person with twin spirits (just a guess though).. and is probably a titled douluo aswell which would make her a very dangerous lass, also I doubt her feelings for grandmaster will have any meaning when compared to her duties as pontiff.
Btw is spirit hall some kind of religion? with these wierd titles it seems like a church or something but I can’t remember if it’s been mentioned in any of the previous chapters..
Also with the recent chapter talking bout Dai Mubai’s past a little it seems likely that there is some power behind him as well that Dai Mubai would definitely bring to bear for protecting Tang. And then again you also can’t count out Tang San himself. Remember he still has 2 or 3(can’t remember if he made 3 or 4 total) Yama’s Invitations he could use to take out the Title Duos from Spirit Hall.
yes, and don’t forget about the conversations between zhu zhuqing and dai mubai.. seems like the two of them came from some prominent clan outside of heaven dou… then there’s the mystery about xiao wu, those high level beasts back on the forest going to her rescue, maybe she could command some of those tyrannical beast to protect the one she loves, no?
well, that’s all we can do for now.. let’s wait for the next translations..
I find it incredibly unlikely all of these powers would amass in such a short time. One of the titled dolu’s is present. The other one from 7 treasures could possibly come.
Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon clan backing him at this point is EXTREMELY unlikely. They might do it for the Empire’s interest in bringing Tang San in as a future power in the next decade that’d be unrivaled, but for Grandmaster? He was banished and thought of as trash by the clan, they have no more ties with him, it’d never happen for his sake.
Dugu Bo? Is he even anywhere around at the moment? I might’ve missed it but I don’t recall of hearing about him since this section started, He’s more likely off fighting that level 95.. 96? Titled Doulou, which is most likely Tang Hao as I can’t think of anybody who’d give him so much trouble that’s been put into the story. If he’s truly off starting trouble with Tang Hao we can count him out as well, but only if.. And neither are certain to be impossible.
The iron triangle wouldn’t last long against the top tier of Spirit hall’s top people, so we really can’t count on them as much protection. At best they could buy a little time like when fighting Dugu Bo, and spirit hall has several Titled Doulou itself.
Dai Mubai’s parents as well as Zhu Zhuqing’s.. They’re likely nowhere near what’s happening at the moment, let alone getting word to them before anything happens they’d never make it in time assuming they’d help in the first place risking the existence of their entire clans for an outsider.
Spirit beasts? Leaving their forest and traversing how many kilometers? It’s more likely they’d flee their on Xaio Wu’s behest after stuff goes to hell and get protection from them for years of cultivation, but they’d be unlikely to leave the forests for any reason at this point.
Almost all of the suggestions mentioned are either impossible or highly unlikely to occur, Tang’s in an extremely dangerous situation right now as well as everyone who will try to protect him.
Also the Yama’s Invitation power is relative to its user’s. Little San is too weak to use them against powerful fighters. He needs to try making more top-grade Hidden Weapons. All these threats are nothing to worry about. Its doubtful Spirit Hall would openly pick fights with those backing Little San. They aren’t that powerful to come out unscathed. The risks aren’t worth it, just to kill one boy even if he is from the Clear Sky school’s main family and even possesses a twin spirit that includes the powerful Clear Sky Hammer. (Is that what its called? I forget) Well unless they pulled a CD and killed his mother, making relations irreparable. Then fearing his future power they may try it in secret to kill him off
Cupcake Ninja. You’re wrong about spirit hall not wanting to pick a fight. They’d prefer to avoid it sure.. But they’re more powerful at the moment, and Tang San is a HUGE threat to the power balance in the coming years. The second twin spirit master who successfully cultivated his second spirit was regarded as an unstoppable force from what was said earlier. If they leave him be and he successfully reaches Title Doulou then cultivates his Clear Sky Hammer.. Tang will essentially become a god compared to any other spirit master, especially with all of his Tang Sect skills ontop of a 9x 70k+ spirit ring Clear Sky Hammer (Which even without all those high grade rings is a massive danger to any Titled Doulou, so much that even Dugu Bo became hesitant to lay a hand on Tang after discovering who his father was.) Mix in high grade hidden weapons with that high spirit power.. Blue silver grasses flexibility in being able to be used with them at ease, his external spirit bone and potential future spirit bones. Yeah.. at that point nobody could scratch Tang and even Er Ming the Titan Giant Ape would most likely be afraid of him.
2 points, one) My guess is one of the 2 is related to the Star Luo Royal family(Just what came to mind), second)I think the most important point missed in this conversation is WHO his mother is…. I mean a Blue Silver Grass spirit equal to Clear Sky Hammer?!?! There’s gotta be a whole lotta backstory far more important than Tang Hao and Tang San’s rebirth behind that story……..
The way I see it, Tang only has poison duoluo and his father. The others have no need to him. Interest does not make them friends. Since tangs father was kicked out to f the clan(not left, KICKED) clearly they are hostile to him. To make it worse, what is spirit hall about? There about having the strongest spirit masters, an army that could crush a kingdom. Say he impossibly had 5 titled duoluo, how could he gather all?
1.Father and uncle: locations unknown(they’re not gonna come)
2.Nings pair, 1needs to protect the clan an 1 needs to protect Ning and rongrong (tang, tough luck)
3.Poison duoluo, most likely the only one that can help.
Clans: only Ning may help
Blue dragon is hostile to them
Clear sky is not even informed
Last four are part of spirit hall
Tang only has one thing going for him, main character protection
Other seven Devils, tough luck(would be surprised if not even one was mortally damaged, for the inevitable absolute defeat a cocktail team like them needs will come)
Can’t disintegrate people’s arms, etc and not expect the world to be a b*tch
Just a few points. Tang Hao is as likely to not show up as he is to show up considering whereabouts are unknown. Uncle is in charge of the Clear Sky clan now, so his whereabouts being unknown are irrelevant, he has higher priorities then coming out to save Tang San who he probably isn’t even aware of at the moment since they’re in hiding. Dugu Bo is as likely to not show up as well, considering we don’t know where he is right now.
If Ning Rongrong is in the fight, Gu Rong won’t just sit back considering how much he dotes on her. He’d either jump into the fight or at the very least take her away from the fight. Either he’s in it or Ning Rongrong is out of it. It’d be both or neither involved in the fight, not just one of them.
I agree though, maybe not the seven devils themselves but I foresee some big characters having an inevitable death coming after this fight, and it’s unlikely any of the clans will be directly involved in it considering they have the higher priority of protecting their clan. Even if he’s someone who will disrupt the power balance and potentially overthrow spirit hall, they can’t really afford to gamble on that.
When was Tang Hao kicked out of Clear Sky? Because what I found was this, from chapter 93: “I only heard that your father declared his separation from Clear Sky School…”
That doesn’t sound like being kicked out to me. Besides which, I recall hearing, I think in the same chapter, that Tang Hao beat not one, but 2 titled duoluo, and the supreme pontiff. So Clear Sky school or no, the only backing Tang San really needs is Tang Hao, who is likely enough to keep an ear on events related to his son. Also, you have no idea what the Clear Sky school knows or doesn’t know. This is a book, any unspecified information can be inserted at the author’s discretion.
Well, Tang San’s dad being “kicked out” may just be politics.
We know he fought the Supreme Pontiff and 4 Elders, killing one or two Elders (I can’t remember how many) and wounding the Supreme Pontiff.
Tang San’s mother died at the same time – so she was likely wounded in that fight or murdered in retribution for it.
Apparently they were all after some magic treasure at the time – so I think it’s safe to assume from the results that Tang San’s dad has the treasure now – which is likely why he is travelling around now either hiding the treasure or retrieving it from hiding.
Given his massive fight with Spirit Hall – the banishment may just be the price Spirit Hall demanded to sweep the issue under the carpet, which considering the Supreme Pontiff was bed-ridden for years as a result of their injuries may have been their solution because they were worried about losing without the Supreme Pontiff backing their forces in battle.
We know the Supreme Pontiff has recovered now (well isn’t bed-ridden at least) so it’s possible they will be fine with resuming hostilities now, which may make Clear Sky renounce the banishment.
The supreme pontiff that Tang Hao fought did not recover. That one died and was replaced. And what banishment? Tang Hao declared that he was a separate entity from the Clear Sky school. Probably to keep backlash from affecting them. That doesn’t mean that they would take back Title Duoluo: Clear Sky in a heartbeat if he was willing to or if it would give some benefit, like the CS school backing Tang San. We’ll have to wait and see what their exact stance is on the matter.
Actually, it’s you that has misunderstood what has happened and needs to properly read the novel..
Grandmaster has no relation at all to the Supreme Pontiff. He tricked Salas into believing he does and that he is an Elder of the Spirit Hall.
The person who is (possibly) an Elder is Tang San’s dad. He gave the emblem to Grandmaster right at the start of the story and that was the emblem Grandmaster showed to Salas.
Now the reason I said (possibly) is – Each of the Great Families has an Elder amongst their ranks who is given one of those emblems. Grandmaster is assuming that the emblem given to him indicates that Tang San’s father is his clans Elder.
However – we know that Tang San’s dad fought with the Spirit Pontiff around the time of Tang San’s birth and at that time he also killed one or two of the Elders guarding the Supreme Pontiff. So it’s possible that the emblem he gave to Grandmaster doesn’t actually belong to him, but was looted from the body of an Elder he killed rather than being his clan’s Emblem.
Somehow those events led to Tang San’s mothers death (or perhaps she just died without her husband at her side because he was off fighting) which lead to him being an alcoholic and possibly also in hiding as a blacksmith to escape retribution from Spirit Hall.
We also know from the Poison Duolo that he immediately realised who Tang San’s father was upon finding out he was a member of the Clear Sky clan as there was no-one else in the clan who could have possibly had a child at that time. So I doubt it would take much for Salas or the Supreme Pontiff to work out the same.
Given there is a massive feud between Tang San’s dad and Spirit Hall with Elders dead, the Supreme Pontiff severely injured and Tang San’s mother likely murdered, Tang San is now in immediate danger from the Supreme Pontiff and anyone wanting to earn some brownie points from him. But given Tang San’s father can out fight anyone 1v1 and also given Spirit Hall wanting to remain on non-combative terms with clan Clear-sky they will likely try to assassinate him in private, rather than kill him openly.
You are mistaken somewhat as Liu Erlong does specifically state that the Supreme Pontiff is interested in Grandmaster, Salas also actively reacts to the title even before knowledge of the tile… But we know the Supreme Pontiff has previous contact with Grandmaster from Liu Erlong’s line that was somewhere along the lines of “So you’re in contact with that slut again”(Her words not mine…)
Yes – but then he explained that he got the token from Tang San’s dad in that same chapter – which is why she didn’t murder Grandmaster.
It is possible that Grandmaster has contact with the Supreme Pontiff as he was a member of one of the 7 clans – but the “slut” mentioned could be anyone capable of holding an Elders token which would also include members of his own clan.
2 titled doulous are the ones who fought Tang Hao and are the titled doulus of the spirit hall, the supreme pontiff is the one behind salas and most likely have conflics with Tang hao as well. Do you honestly think the heaven dou empire backing is just that 1 poison doulu? Are you saying without the poison doulu, the empire won’t have any power at all? Do you even know the 3 iron triangle formation could pretty much kick anyones ass as long as they are not titled doulu in power?
Use common sense and think before you insult, ignorance is bliss. You should go reread from the begining.
i disagree with clear sky school coming out to protect him. we know there is some tension between his father and his uncle the current head of the clear sky school(clan). if war breaks out between tang san and the spirit hall we can know for a face tang hao ill come and defend him along with the iron triangle. the lesser confirmed support are school master ning, heaven dou empire, and dugu bo. (i seperated dugu bo from heaven dou empire for the relationship they have with one another. although he could be counted in their sphere of influence) i really dont think master ning will support tang san if a war does break out. remember hes doing everything for the benefit of his school/clan. unless tang san goes into seven tile’s protection i dont think Ning Fengzhi will go out of his way to protect him. then again if tang san does join the school alot of people might get mad and start a retaliation again the school. simply put lets just wait for the story to unfold by itself
the main point isen’t how many will protect him but how many will avenge him.. spirit hall will pretty much cut off all chances of a steady relationship with any of the 3 upper clans if they kill Tang San.. and the avengers would most likely include 6 titled douluo.. but since Tang San OBVIOUSLY isen’t going to die that won’t matter
Thanks for the chapters!! It’s like you decided to be a certain talk show host for a day “and you get a chapter, and you get a chapter, and everyone gets a chapter!!!”
As far as my thoughts on what’s going to happen to Salas? I can only hope that we have a Title: Clear Sky cameo and our Platinum Bishop has a very bad day…
well, logically they should have never participated in the tournament at all.. but the story most go on 🙂 the most optimal would have been for them to wait for the last tournament before Dai Mubai turned 25..
Then the tournament would have been a joke cause all the Shrek Devils would have been like 70th or 80th rank spirit masters or maybe even Title Duos. That would have been such a boring read seeing em just walk in with a team like that.
Proceed to show spirit rings -> Automatically win from every team surrendering at the sight of dozens of black rings, Tang San having one with a red glow to it. Most exciting tournament ever. XD
Have to be a little reasonable here, 100k year old spirit beasts or close to them don’t grow on trees. They’re a pretty rare existence, though.. I wouldn’t put it past the author to do it so you might be right. :p
they participate for the sake of the story.. but since grandmaster is so careful when it comes to Tang San it seems illogical that he would suggest joining the tournament but he had to since it would be boring to read about the next 6-7 years of cultivation before anything happens outside the academy 🙂
He’s also having them participate for training. It wouldn’t be much of a challenge if they waited for the next tournament and they were all rank 60+, punting around little 30+ and early 40’s.
that’s true, good combat experience but considering how grandmaster tries to hide their ages it seems a little foolish to send them out at all since he clearly knows the dangers it will cause for the kids (not just Tang San) well, things should be getting more interesting from this point though the big twin spirit reveal is already done 🙂
I said this in its own comment, but I’ll say it again here.
A very fast and confident enemy swooping down for melee cut attacks + Blue Silver Grass around either the neck or the ankles + Crane Controlling Dragon should be a pretty smooth ringout without the need to directly clash against the technique.
Tang’s supposed to be a Control Spirit Master, but he fought [and won, at a very dangerous price] as a Power Spirit Master here.
You can only imagine the state the Emporer’s little brother is in.
40th + ranked spirit power. 13 years old. Twin Spirits. Clear Sky Hammer. Ten thousand year ring for 4th ring. AND STILL SUBTLY HIDING THE EXISTENCE OF HIS EXTERNAL SPIRIT BONE. GG.
The reason that worked on a 70’th ranked spirit master was they had their guard let down. Anything higher, or even lower without dropping their guard (at his current power) wouldn’t let it through their defense. Yama’s invitation is definitely terrifying but not omnipotent.
Not omnipotent, but Tang said he could kill Poison Douluo with it. If it would kill him it would kill any Spirit Master in the world on a successful hit.
And lets be honest… what Spirit Douluo or higher is going to take a Spirit Elder- Twin Spirits and Spirit Bone be damned- seriously? The VAST majority of people are cocky with just a few numerical ranks above an opponent, FAR moreso with even a one Spirit Ring difference. The greater the gap the greater the arrogance in most cases.
That’s how he was able to kill the illusion guy. He didn’t even consider that Tang San could do anything to hurt him, so he didn’t bother defending himself even a little bit.
He also wanted to torture Tang San because he was a creep.
If he’d been serious about killing him and not sick in the head – he would have simply used one of his more powerful abilities and instantly killed San. The only thing missing from his plan was sharks with freaking lasers on their heads.
One from spirit hall who’s been ordered to kill him I’d assume. Get the job done quickly before any titled doulou supporters (Like his father) show up and be done with it. But yes, in most cases nobody would take him seriously with no prior knowledge and no serious motivation to get rid of him, and yes the Yama’s Invitation will outright kill anybody it pierces as long as it pierces them so even Dugu Bo would’ve been helpless if he injured himself with it. I never said it wasn’t lethal, merely that it isn’t omnipotent.
“The shock in Salas’ eyes gradually turned into a cold light. Twin spirits. It was unexpectedly twin spirits as well. No, this absolutely wasn’t something such a lowly peasant could possess. Moreover he was still from the Clear Sky School. No matter what, this boy had to die. No matter what.”
What I’m curious about is the part that says “as well”. Does that mean he recognises something that happened before? Something related to the mother’s (possibly twin) spirit and the fued between spirit hall and tang’s father?
Or is this simply a weird emphasis because of the translation? (ch to en)
Anyways,
Thanks for all the chapters.
I enjoy reading Duoluo Dalu.
A little of both, plus remember what the reward is for winning the competition (spirit bones) that the spirit hall believes they already won. With the appearance of Tang San and from spirits hall’s previous conflict with Tang Hao, it should be obvious that he fears Tang San and what he could do to the competition and the world. Also remember everyone who seen the Clear Sky’s hammer already know who he was the son of once it was shown, so he should instantly know who he is the son of.
Basically Tang San’s existence as mentioned before, will throw the balance of power between the schools, the empire, and the spirit hall into chaos if he becomes a titled doulu, our main character is finally affecting the world 🙂
Given his fathers previous conflicts with the Supreme Pontiff and my assumption that they were responsible for Tang San’s mother’s death, it’s fairly safe to assume they will kill him to prevent him becoming a threat.
They will likely do it in secret to avoid open conflict with the 3 Great Clans not directly controlled by Spirit Hall though.
I think the, “as well”, was referring to Tang San’s monstrous cultivation in relation to his age. Recall, a number of chapters ago Salas was in his office studying Tang San’s spirit hall file over and over as though he couldn’t believe the numbers. Could be wrong, though.
Or maybe he was referring to Tang San’s Silver Grass ? Like Grandmaster said, his blue silver grass isn’t as simple as it seems… And the two spirits of twins spirits master seems to have the same power. So maybe his spirit grass is as powerful as his sky hammer ?
I’m realy curious about the fact that Blue silver grass (Spirit) is able to control/comunicate with normal blue silver grass…
I wonder what TS is gonna do with this
Well, Tang San has some of the worlds best cultivation ya know, plus his use of Blue Silver Grass seemed special in itself (cause of his plant use, though the Salas doesn’t know that)…
Tang reached a stage he would have naturally reached at 24 at the young age of 14….
So “as well” probably meant his super cultivation, his hand to hand combat, strategy, agility, 10,000 yr ring, flame immunity, and any other amazing thing seen….
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAGELSON YOU SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIP ICE CREAM FROSTED CREAM CHEESE DONUT!!!!!!!!!!!!WOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!! YOU JUST DROPPED IT LIKE ITS HOT!!!!!!!! YOUR MY NEW MAN CRUSH!!!! PLEASE ACCEPT MY UNDYING LOVE AND DEVOTION!!!!
Cause more people can relate and understand the metric system including those that use imperial. but reverse wize, no everyone knows the measurements of imperial
I was just saying that half a chi is so much closer to half a foot(closer to 3/7) than it is to 1/6 of a meter(closer to 1/8), and 500jin is much closer to 500pounds(closer to 490) than it is to 250kg(closer to 225). It would just be a way to translate it without leaving in words, for a more full translation; Or even just make it say ‘250KG’ (even though it’s be so far off) and put the 500jin in the notes, instead of the other way around. So that it feels like a more thorough translation.
This isn’t a complaint, it’s a suggestion; Don’t anybody get butthurt please. Don’t take it like I’m dissatisfied. I’m fine with non-english being in a translation; It’s not like we ever translated the word ‘Sushi’ or anything, and it’s common for things like ‘Ge’ and ‘Onee-chan’ and ‘Jeongshin’ etc.
Don’t forget we made a new screwdriver just because we wanted our own.
I got jin and pounds mixed up. Same with Feet and Ch’ih. They’re such similar measurements I had them in my head backwards. Your KG comparison is almost exact and the meter comparison isn’t too far off; It’s like 2/9 of a meter, making it just barely over 1/6. Sorry for my confusion.
That depends on where you are. The liang, jin, cun, chi and li all vary between Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland, Korea, Japan and others. The ones we’re using here are the Mainland measures, which were standardized as 1 chi = 1/3 m, 1 li = 1/5 km, one jin = 1/2 kg and so on, along with the adoption of SI units in 1984.
during the qualifiers ronrong’s father said that Tang San and his daughter were close friends, that also means that he is close to rongrong’s clan, therefore a rival of the spirit hall. And now knowing that he belongs to the clear sky clan that is ally of the other empire he saw that would be impossible to bring him to spirit hall, plus, considering how strong tang san is in the future he qould become a force to be recon with, even more having twin spirits and being able to care up to 18 rings.
You obviously haven’t been paying attention to the story. Tang San just revealed he is connected to Clear Sky and it’s obvious to all then who his father is and we have already been told about the feud between Tang Hao and Spirit Hall. This means Salas sees how big of a threat Tang San is if he’s allowed to grow up more.
It’s also likely Tang San’s mother was involved in the fight with the Supreme Pontiff. If so anyone with knowledge of the fight would know who Tang San’s parents are and that at some point he will find out Spirit Hall murdered his mother and we will get the revenge arc.
They added a few things for a bit more drama (not much really) took out a few things cause it wasn’t too important, had to modify things cause somethings work better in a novel than drawing, and that is all after making it more kid friendly and goofy (not much more goofy).
I WANTED meaning I know that it won’t happen, but I wish other wise cause it’d be so awesome and just make him more badass….
I mean, the guy getting only one girl is done most of the time anyways, and most of the stories where I (personally) would feel okay if the MC got a harem are a minority…. but this series is in that minority for me…

So Salas is about to embark on the route of his death then. Cause he is now planning to kill the MC which in all novels spells certain doom. I’m just wondering by which method his death will come. Will it come from the father hidden in the winds or will it come from Tang San himself?
LikeLiked by 4 people
Salas knows about the Clear Sky Hammer, so he SHOULD know right away that Tang San’s father is the Title Douluo. You’d think he would be a bit more cautious in that case.
LikeLike
You’d think that but he seems fairly shortsighted sometimes. And he still doesn’t know the true extent of Tang Sans power which makes me think the odds of him dying by Tang Sans hands higher.
LikeLike
It’s because of who Tang San’s father is, that Salas will try to kill him.
Probably in secret – because he’s scared of Tang San’s dad.
LikeLike
He doesnt now who his father is. There are more people “in” the Clear Sky School than Tang Hao. (Or have I missed when they were all neutered?)
LikeLike
There are, but the only people who have the Clear Sky Hammer are the direct descendants, which would currently be Tang Hao and Tang San.
LikeLike
You don’t know that. They’re the only ones that have been introduced. That doesn’t mean they’re the only ones that exist.
LikeLike
Actually, it has been said in the story that only the direct descendants of the school inherit the Clear Sky Hammer, which is why Tang Hao’s brother doesn’t have it.
LikeLike
LikeLiked by 1 person

With the two titled doulus and the supreme pontiff nonsense person of the spirit hall, that’s still going against several top tier clans, along with a high chance of backing from heaven dou empire, and the poison doulu… along with the teachers, that’s like 4 titled doulus having Tang San’s back, gg
LikeLiked by 4 people
Now that’s he’s revealed, Sky Hammer will probably protect him, or at least watch out for the clan’s interests, so Sky Hammer’s Titled duolu would protect him.

GJ Bagelson. dont overwork yourself!

Then fearing his future power they may try it in secret to kill him off
LikeLike

LikeLike
LikeLike
The supreme pontiff that Tang Hao fought did not recover. That one died and was replaced. And what banishment? Tang Hao declared that he was a separate entity from the Clear Sky school. Probably to keep backlash from affecting them. That doesn’t mean that they would take back Title Duoluo: Clear Sky in a heartbeat if he was willing to or if it would give some benefit, like the CS school backing Tang San. We’ll have to wait and see what their exact stance is on the matter.
LikeLike
LikeLike
You are mistaken somewhat as Liu Erlong does specifically state that the Supreme Pontiff is interested in Grandmaster, Salas also actively reacts to the title even before knowledge of the tile… But we know the Supreme Pontiff has previous contact with Grandmaster from Liu Erlong’s line that was somewhere along the lines of “So you’re in contact with that slut again”(Her words not mine…)
LikeLike

(i seperated dugu bo from heaven dou empire for the relationship they have with one another. although he could be counted in their sphere of influence) i really dont think master ning will support tang san if a war does break out. remember hes doing everything for the benefit of his school/clan. unless tang san goes into seven tile’s protection i dont think Ning Fengzhi will go out of his way to protect him. then again if tang san does join the school alot of people might get mad and start a retaliation again the school. simply put lets just wait for the story to unfold by itself

the main point isen’t how many will protect him but how many will avenge him.. spirit hall will pretty much cut off all chances of a steady relationship with any of the 3 upper clans if they kill Tang San.. and the avengers would most likely include 6 titled douluo.. but since Tang San OBVIOUSLY isen’t going to die that won’t matter

they participate for the sake of the story.. but since grandmaster is so careful when it comes to Tang San it seems illogical that he would suggest joining the tournament but he had to since it would be boring to read about the next 6-7 years of cultivation before anything happens outside the academy 🙂

40th + ranked spirit power. 13 years old. Twin Spirits. Clear Sky Hammer. Ten thousand year ring for 4th ring. AND STILL SUBTLY HIDING THE EXISTENCE OF HIS EXTERNAL SPIRIT BONE. GG.

14 years old, and don’t forget about the hidden weapons. There is a certain Yama’s invitation lurking about in his spatial storage bell…

The reason that worked on a 70’th ranked spirit master was they had their guard let down. Anything higher, or even lower without dropping their guard (at his current power) wouldn’t let it through their defense. Yama’s invitation is definitely terrifying but not omnipotent.
LikeLike

Spot on.

I wonder what TS is gonna do with this
LikeLike
Well, Tang San has some of the worlds best cultivation ya know, plus his use of Blue Silver Grass seemed special in itself (cause of his plant use, though the Salas doesn’t know that)…
Tang reached a stage he would have naturally reached at 24 at the young age of 14….
So “as well” probably meant his super cultivation, his hand to hand combat, strategy, agility, 10,000 yr ring, flame immunity, and any other amazing thing seen….

Why don’t you just used pounds and feet? That’s pretty much what Jin and Chi are.

Cause more people can relate and understand the metric system including those that use imperial. but reverse wize, no everyone knows the measurements of imperial

meters and kilograms you non-conforming bastards 😀

I wonder… why Salas wants to kill the MC is there a reason ? He could have tried to recruit him as well…
Hmmm… I dont understand…

during the qualifiers ronrong’s father said that Tang San and his daughter were close friends, that also means that he is close to rongrong’s clan, therefore a rival of the spirit hall.

Why is the novel is different to the manga?
Also, the novel is so much better, you rock!!

They added a few things for a bit more drama (not much really) took out a few things cause it wasn’t too important, had to modify things cause somethings work better in a novel than drawing, and that is all after making it more kid friendly and goofy (not much more goofy).

I really hated what they did to Oscar. Taking away a mans sausage and replacing it with tofu is just wrong.

See, only took away a penis joke… not that big a deal… I don’t think I’d wanna actually see that scene…..
And the girls would probably have ripped it… which would be painful…
Somethings are better left in words…

This was like Christmas… all these chapters at once (yet I know I’ll crave more)
So Tang San is thinking “Their is the 7 Glaze & my teachers around, I’ll be safe for the tournament at least” and revealed it…
So now he’s the known…. I kinda wish he kicked ass with his grass and made everyone sh*t their pants….
Now here comes drama that he coulda avoided…. I feel that with the romance going with Xiao Wu, something bad is gonna happen…
And Tang San saying how there is nothing between him and Huo Wu made me a bit sad… wanted a harem…. plus sexy red-heads are my favorite…

There is no way in hell Xiao Wu would have allowed Tang San to have a harem.
