The schedule says part 1 &2 have been translated by marcuz already, although there are no links and the lines are highlighted in red instead of green, so I’m not sure what that means for the next release’s eta.
Tang San walked over in front of Grandmaster,
“Teacher, Even though this Nine Treasure Purple Zoysia doesn’t count as an immortal treasure, it still strengthens foundations, its effect promoting energy. It will have a considerable beneficial effect to your body. Please take it.”
Grandmasters doesn’t count as a immortal treasure.
Since he knows the names that were assigned in tang sans previous world, I would risk assuming he is also a returnee from death xD too much coincidence that the flowers are called by the same name in a different world xD since the lore needed to assign such names wouldn’t exist in this world hahaha
If Tang could get the same name from his previous life then I doubt that this is just a coincidence. I think that the flowers are actually just called the same in both worlds.
well, the name thing is the authors almighty “will of god” to create the story how he wants it to, so i guess plant names could possibly be the same but I personally dislike that assumption until i know who the guy is :S
Its probably the same world, since the flowers exist in both!Or maybe another continent?A time skip migth actually have take place two, maybe tang san is in the pastfounding tang sect??
nope, it’s a different world with it’s different limitations. In his old world spirit rings didn’t exist and weren’t what limited a person from going up a rank in practice. It was why he was struggling a bit at the beginning since he maxed it out and couldn’t progress without the spirit ring (though it jumped the according ranks after he got one)
actually it’d be best if the flower dude doesn’t find out that tang san has some b/c most likely he’ll just take the immortal treasures n then tell eagle dude to kill them all cause come on, why try to make a deal with people when you can just rob and steal? it’d be a win-win situation for flower dude only
at this rate the birdman will run out of power and be struck with yama’s invitation, the guy in the white robe while be astonished for the 7th time and they all get to live kek
black clothed –> black-clothed
black masked –> black-masked
white clothed –> white-clothed
Meng Shu, I advise you to quickly bring Serpent Grandmother away.
I do not think ‘bring’ and ‘away’ together work very well. I would suggest to reword this.
Reblogged this on Moriah Clan Headquarters and commented:
I thought I saw everything o.o now I see a fool eventually guarding the entire enemy team despite his power level xD
I really hate when authors hype the power of people and suddenly they get weak as fuck. 1500 “elite soldiers” (aka, not spirit masters) should die in a few seconds against 105 at-least-spirit-elders (and that is even accepting that two spirit kings could hold the teachers [all the teachers should be ashamed of themselves, unless later it is said that those spirit kings were all 59th ranked, and all had high grade spirits, and were exceptionally talented, how could they stop spirit sages ? Couldnt Flanders stop both ?] o.O).
Basically any control ability that they usually just use to stop the enemies would be fatal to normal people, Tang San`s grass passing by people, because of the thorns and the strong poison alone could kill a lot… The botanic school poison cloud also could do a lot of massacre…
match ups of spirit can influence and hinder the power of others. then there is also which type of spirit master they are, agilities are stupidly hard to hit, defence types have great power and even greater defence, controls although majorly different are all tricky b*stards xD shi nian would have fared quite well here if he didn’t cause his own death at tang sans hands xD
Theres obviously quite a few spirit masters of notable strength mixed into those 1500, and more waiting outside. It seems the main goal here is to exhaust them all, injure as few as possible, and primarily to kill Tang San. Though it seemed the Shrek Seven Devils are also a fairly high priority on the list to kill yet not mandatory. The only high level objective they’re likely to have is to deal with tang san specifically. White robed Title Doulou? Spirit hall much?
The academies struggling at quickly wiping out the “bandits” makes more sense when you think of the fact that because of the numbers and the spirit masters not being accustomed to large scale battle they cant fully utilize their strength, it basically states as much in the chapter but it doesnt really explain why. The best explanation as to why they cant easily win is that first of spirit abilties use a lot of energy, while their high level abilities could easily destroy many opponents they can typically only use them 3 or 4 times before being out of spirit power, and against large groups that would be fatal. Second these arent some ordinary bandits, they’re Spirit Halls soldiers, probably elites that are trained to fight against spirit masters, consider many of the spirit abilities we’ve seen, they’re single target abilities so if the enemy were to focus on dodging and counterattacking they could cause some trouble, eventually though all the regular soldiers would be decimated but with the added help from their own spirit masters it becomes much more even. Third those 50th ranked spirit masters arent just any spirit master, but most likely Spirit Halls Temple Guard(or whatever they were called) who are trained to actually fight on the battlefield…. Side note, Spirit Hall is really going all out to kill Tang San, if it was just the “bandits” plus the 50th ranked Spirit Masters maybe there would have been some plausible deniability but with their own Title Doulou going out there’s no way to hide who they are, this should start a war
lol! Poor Roldiarra is about to run out of avatar state time and enter negative status state. This flower loving doluo isn’t gonna want to harm any of them. Especially three flowered tang san. Assuming spirit hall sent them, by dumb luck, they sent the wrong titled doluo.
wooooooooooow u really are Title Douluo
and since yhis is my first time commenting i originally wrote a long one but unfortunately it got erased >.<"
So first of all : Thank u very much for your effort and since this one is my favourite LN my happeness can't be describe
This ch was very funny i can't wait to see his reaction after discovering that each one has one and thang has three!! So amusing
And i think even if he sepair evry one's live he can't do the same to tang becouse he is the real traget ,can he?? 0.0
Can't wait 'til the next ch T.T
Wonderful…. another chapter just one day after the last one. And this Doulo loves flowers…..now it is obvious that all of these are members from Spirit Hall. If I remember well spirit hall has two or three title Doulo
I just remembered one of the 6 symbols on those coins was a flower and the flower was supposed to be apart of Spirit Hall so here is the proof that it is Spirit Hall. Not that we all didn’t know it was Spirit Hall that sent these ‘bandts’.
GAH! I was just thinking of the white robes being a trademark of spirit hall, i completely forgot about the flower being one of their symbols on those tokens. That more or less confirms it to be spirit hall even if there was sound reason to believe it before. Now the only question left is WHY does he call the flowers the same thing as Tang San @.@ I must know the reason.
The flower symbol on spirit hall’s emblem is exactly chrysanthemum just like dai mubai’s immortal treasure. It can be assumed this TD is the chrysanthemun. And that’s probably the reason why he held an attraction towards dai mubai.
Potential rebellion from spirit hall? Or just shedding tears of blood at being forced to kill Tang San when Tang San has eating 2 immortal treasures+another rare flower. That poor eagle though. “YES BLOOD FINA-” “Wait! this one smells of flowers too!”
Even if he does recognize the flowers, how come the names are exactly the same as the ones Tang San knows from his past life? This is a different world, so the naming should be different as well…
Glad I wasn’t the only one going “Wait why the hell is he calling them the same way Tang San does.. when Tang San calls them the names of his own world..” If this goes unanswered I’m flip my desk in a fit of rage. We’ve so many unanswered questions already, don’t want another huge “WTF is happening?!” question that’s put off for 100+ chapters ;~;
Well the author doesn’t really need to explain. You assume the names could be different since he is in another world but if you go with this logic the author would need to explain why in both worlds a cat is called a cat, a human a human and that would just make the whole story complicated for nothing and would not bring anything to the story itself.
But you have to remember, it’s not the same. This world is different and the language is different as well, which is why he had to learn this worlds language when he was young. What he merely did is translate what it is called form his past life world, to what it is now. 2 world, 2 language, kind of like English translated into Chinese. Thus same animal, different ways to call it.
But that being said, it could be considered him “giving” the name of these plants based on the previous life. Now this flower titled doulu calling these flowers the same way Tang San called it does peak my interest on this Flower loving Titled Doulou and if there are connections. I’m not being complicated, I’m just being curious lol…
This might sound completely absurd but would donations help in improving the speed of translations, Bagelson? Coz I am reading a novel by the same author – Shen Yin Wang Zuo – from totobro.com and apparently they have got this system where they hire external translators using these donations to speed up the process. I am aware that it takes a lot of time and effort to translate a three part chapter. However, as a fan of the series especially (each chapter is a a level above its former), my interest is piqued to get to the bottom of it. If this is already in place (I couldn’t find a section. Maybe I am feeling a bit sleepy), then all I can say is you are doing a fabulous job!!!
Everybody else is like oh wow immortal treasures save them once again. I’m wondering why the hell the guy calls them all Immortal Treasures as well, and why he knows each ones proper name. That was knowledge from Tang San’s original world. We’re not in his world, so why the hell does anybody aside from him call them the same thing that Tang San does. Makes me wonder if either this is the same world but the future/past version of it, or if this is another person like Tang San who was reborn into this world from that world with memories in tact. @.@
Obviously he’s going to figure out each one has taken immortal treasures, and know which each one is with the way things are going. Now the question boils down to is this guy going to betray his organization and offer them all protection to make them his disciples, or will the line be drawn at Tang San as this is most likely spirit hall making their attempt on his life, there primarily to kill him..and why the hell he knows of all these immortal treasures/calls them the names of tang san’s world @.@ In b4 another Tang Sect member reborn/remaking of Tang Sect.
my hypothesis is, it is the same word…..but many years in future….Tang sect was a hidden assassins sect who resides in mountains and they mainly deal with poisons and weapons so I doubt they have any clue abt spiritmasters….and there aren’t many SMs in the world to begin with compared to the overall world population. And so far we only know 2 counties….who know how many more countries are there in the world across this globe unexplored by these 2 country people. for all we know tang sect could be in a country high up north. But it does makes one curious how the that flower douluo calls them with the same name as tang san.
Plot Twist Tang San got sent into the past and he created the Tang Sect that the future Tang San became apart of thus he is a disciple of the sect that he created!!!!!!
After careful thought I feel there are points of the story which suggest otherwise, yet the same points can prove a common link if explained differently. We don’t know a whole lot about how spirit power really works, but we know that spirits are inherited. That would likely make spirits a genetic trait, spirit rings being something that tie in with spirits would explain why spirit masters require spirit rings yet Tang Sect did not (since they didn’t have spirits). Same world but continents separated by oceans with different rules to spirit power because of having or not having actual spirit manifestations is a possibility. I think it’s less likely than an alternate universe which has similar aspects with different mechanics BUT it definitely is a possibility with so many vague things pointed out. I have a feeling we’re going to find out shortly with the introduction of this titled duolou though.. Cause calling them by the same names will definitely have some major significance, very few things are put into this story that slip up from what things should be.. doesn’t seem like a mistake the author would’ve made (most of them have been tiny, like Zhuge godly bows can’t be unwound once wound without firing.. but in the spirit tournament qualifiers they disarmed them without firing them.. a tiny slip up from previous statements but nothing near this major that’s a potential story changer)
Not only is that Titled Doulou not attacking them, I think he just gave Dai Mubai a power-up on top of it all. Does this mean that the author is going to use this as a convenient way to level up basically all the devils in time for the finals? The arrival of this guy completely caught me off guard 🙂
I totally would love that idea of another tang sect member being reborn in this world. And if he can see that Tang San is a fellow Tang Sect reincarnated on top of all members posing an immortal treasure, definitely seems to be the means by which the S7D will be boosted up to the 50’th rank in time to fight Spirit Halls Team go all 50 rank Spirit masters.
He hasn’t seen the Zhuge godly crossbow.. or any of tangs hidden weapons yet as he showed up after that carnage.. it’s possible, and at this point seems pretty likely to be the case in my opinion @.@ Should make for an extremely interesting twist on the story and an insane reason they end up going into hiding plus a lot of “wtf’s” by the S7D when Tang and mystery man begin reminiscing about Tang Sect/have so much in common randomly. Most of them already seem to be as baffled as us by what’s happening XD
I get it that Bishop salas wants Tang San dead, but isn’t this going to far? This is a direct attack on the kingdom, plus 2 it looks clear two of the three big clans back these students that just got attacked.
Let’s also mention that if they kill Tang San, the powers behind him aren’t weak. It would be easy for spite hall to find out that he has connection to Poison Doulou, and the bishop just saw he had the clear sky hammer which means he is a direct descendent to clear sky clan. The series also hinted that Tang San’s father dealt considerable damage to spurt hall.
To me and I might be wrong but it seams really foolish for spirit hall to attack them, even if they disguise themselves as bandits, because the wraith they will have now incurred will be great.
Right now I think the story has left it open for conjecture as to who is actually attacking the students. It could be spirit hall or a different faction so far there are at least 11. Of whom 5 Shrek academy has pissed off.
There is no doubt at all that this was Spirit Hall that sent them. Further proof is gonna be provided due to this Flower Title Douluo since the flower is one of the Title Douluos from Spirit Hall.
I could be mistaken but also.. a white robe is the mark of a spirit hall member. Someone showing up to the battlefield in an all white robe, people who were just stated to be able to match if not outright beat a single titled doulou.. running from the same person when warned not to be mixed up in this is suggestion they know he’s being backed by an extremely powerful organization (like spirit hall which has been suggested to be the most powerful as of now) Seems fairly clear that it should be spirit hall doing this even if not outright stated to be so with all the previous foreshadowing. Even if the 1500 aren’t of spirit hall, it’s still most likely spirit hall behind all of this and the titled doulou being a part of spirit hall. Further suggested by the fact they’re more than willing to just let people walk away, but are putting most of their power on shrek academy when Tang San is the main target. The fact they’re willing to take in some of them as disciples when Salas only wanted San eliminated.
Next chapter is going to be really funny XD
I just can’t wait to read what his reaction to everyone having an immortal herb is going to be, especially tang san with 3 herbs
I’d rather love to read it in english… so no thanks… sharing is loving. How can you share if they won’t understand it? reading it on your own language is good, but would instead taken you aback from culturing your self to the outside world thus creating only your own world that most people won’t understand. I don’t seems to like it. Sorry just my opinion, I just represent my self but none.
you are the fucking retard. get a standard brain with basic understanding of English so you understand the fact that the second guy actually supported translation in various language, including Indonesian. that is a beautiful way of sharing as not everyone has the capacity to read in English. shame on your mom for raising an idiot, with a pussy. stop commenting if you are only shaming Indonesian.
it’s ok, different people have different perspective, may it work with you, but to other who don’t really understand english, how come they knew the story? anyway thx for ur attention 😀
The equivalent of this comment would be one of those, “I’m not racist, but…” posts. No one said anything about you having to read the translation. Hell, they’re translating it in Indonesian for the same reason it’s translated in English: so people who speak that language have a chance to enjoy the story. I write all of this because the sheer amount of racism in that statement is just disgusting.
First that Yearning Heartbroken Red gave Xiao Wu an instant win in the tournie. Now it’s saved the team from a Title Douluo who’s actually a flower otaku.
Prediction: 40,000 chapters down the line, when the team finally leaves school and enters a major battle, the final boss will be defeated by that damn flower.
i didn’t think the fire and ice ones were immortal treasures. i thought they were treasured plants that combined were on the level of an immortal treasure.
you don’t get it…smh. It’s a shame too. Obviously the TD is the Chrysanthemum Douluo, who’s spirit is a flower…and him not wanting to be Ignorant knows everything about flowers which is why Tang is shocked that he knows about 2 of the 9 herbs/flowers that have been used with the 7 just by observation alone…
@Niin Sama What you said was true and that’s what also bugs me. How the hell did he know about this heavenly treasures? or the knowledge perhaps not only restricted to the Tang Sect but in this world too. If not then perhaps, i had a theory that this Chrysanthemum Duoluo would be somewhat relative to Tang Sect.. but.. arggghhhh.. Want to read the next chapter XDDD
They exist in the world, and have for eons. This is the Crysanthemum Doulou… Their spirit is a flower so of course they would know about them, hes a flower Otaku. Dugu Bo didn’t know about them because his aspect is poison, and they are not exactly poisonous.
i think the point they are making is that Crysanthemum Doulou knows the Immortal Treasures by the name Tang San know it in his previous life. Although these Treasures are in this current “dimension/universe/continent” that Tang San reincarnated in, the Crysanthemum Doulou should know these Treasures by a different name (local plant name) and not the name Tang San knows them by.
lol…. well… ive been reading the whole story for a week and even look for some info about some upcoming development 😉 … im not gonna spoil it since i might throw myself in a pithole of glaring evil eyes….lol… and so far…. i kidda love the addition of this immortal treasures….. it really helps the study to grow more and more promising… not to mention … i always chk the site everyday… hoping for some new updates…. (but ill be patiently waiting) Btw Gardening is not bad…..since it give us bottomless satisfaction if we see the flowers blooming with differebt variety of colors…. 😉
eaioucejaowekmf. Cliffhanger~ And some of the best comedy in the series yet. =)
I can’t wait for the next one.
And the next one.
And the next one.
Thank you Bagelson.
Btw, I saw a comment where somebody posted about progress for the next one… mentioned someone else doing initial translating and highlights. Where can I find such updates?
remember tang san took ALL the immortal treasure herbs from that poison master’s place, so he has more of them with him including that aromatic silk beauty flower that nullifies poison. i think that title doulou will die of a heart attack if he learns of this.
Dai Mubai has saiyan level power ups. Beat him down and he’ll come back stronger.
I can’t wait for this guy to see everyone’s immortal treasures. Especially Tang San’s.
Thats what Salas was saying when seeing Tang sans clear sky hammer in the competition against Feng Xiaotians Thirty Six Successive Chops: No matter what, this boy had to die.
Without doubt all this is a Spirit Hall attack.
On the symbol for spirit hall it has a flower representin a title doujin dou it’s kinda obvious it’s spirit hall. On that note won’t this start a war against spirit hall the empires already hated eachother.
Nah! The superpowers are still more or less balanced. If anything Spirit hall currently has the upper hand. Sane people dont start wars with equal or stronger enemies.
It’s more likely due to the fact that he has a twin spirit, for the exact reason Grandmaster doesn’t let Tang San add rings to it. That’s only amplified by the fact that it’s Clear Sky Hammer, but still terrifying in itself.
Since all of this happened back in chap 80, I wouldn’t think this to be considered a spoiler. Since anyone reading chapter 119 should have read this already. I know I missed the connection at the time I read it.
Since I can’t get enough of this story, I started rereading this from the beginning. I am currently on chapter 80, and Grandmaster is telling Tang about the badge his dad left. He tells him that one of the Title Douluo that his dad beat was a level 95 known by the name of Chrysanthemum Douluo, who I am going to guess is right in front of Tang San and might be holding a bit of a grudge.
Since all of this happened back in chap 80, I wouldn’t think this to be considered a spoiler
I disagree. One theme that remains staunch is power. This is a flower type douluo. Killing Tang San admittedly would be revenge. However all are flower types like him now. I think he will be unwilling to kill his own kind especially since he himself is more than likely a unique existence knowing about immortal treasure flowers and is currently one himself. These kids are akin to meeting long lost family you never knew you had but always wanted. Would you be so quick to watch them be killed? Each Shrek is as unique as Flower T.D. or in Tang Sans, Xiao Wu case more unique than him.
@Highjix I reconfirmed it and yes I agree with you.. what you said was correct. It was said in ch 80 part 2 :
So it was him i think, the Chrysanthemum Duoluo level 95 that appeared on the ch 119.. But i really wanna know if his motive is really revenge for Tang San’s Father action before or was just plainly following order from that Platinum Bishop. I hope Ghost Duoluo is not there too because of this reasons.. I am excited for the next ch to come. Thanks to Bagelson 😀
He is probably following orders, I just don’t think he will let him off the hook like the others, One he was ordered to kill him, and two, vengeance against his father. I see it kinda like a bonus at the end of a good job.
I can see the conversation going something like this.
“You are ordered to kill this guy, good news is, he’s the son of the guy who kicked your butt! Win win!”
Is there anyway that the title duolou is a reincarnated from tang clan. I mean it would his knowledge and even calling it by the accurate name. Also it would explain his infatuation towards the immortal treasures since there weren’t many in his time
I find this more likely than this being the same world/ or same world different time thing (because on Tang San previous life there was no bottleneck that needed spirit rings to go trough).
Other possibility is that Tang San wasnt the first other-worlder to come (not necessarily the previous one needed to be from the Tang Sect, as I think they werent the only ones to know those immortal plants).
Going on this train of thought, maybe what his father and mother got their hands on was related to he being reborn there, and I kinda get the feeling that she might actually be from his world or something.
Considering the plants are immortal treasures and many things are comparable between the two worlds Tang San lived in, then I think the “naming” goes backward. An explanation could be that the immortal treasures “broadcast” their names, instead of getting arbitrarily named by humans. Either that or the names are given by some sort of higher multi-world beings.
Though, the easiest explanation is that it is less confusing (for the author and the reader) if the names are the same. It’d be a pain to have the MC always rename things in his head.
Finally, the title douluo knowing the names of the flowers probably come from the knowledge given by his flower spirit and some old literature.
Possible but remember Spirit Temple have hidden documents which are not available to everyone. Its not that weird if they hold these information of flowers that gives such wonderful effects.
There is a small issue here. Tang San has kept his memories and knowledge from the previous world/Realm/reality/Plane so he knows that world/Realm/reality/Plane’s Language. Yet when he was born into this continent, he had to spent his first year understanding the language (and was at last able to understand what his father’s wimpering meant right after Tang was born).
So what you have here is 2 worlds/Realms/realities/Planes with DIFFERENT Languages. Both worlds/Realms/realities/Planes probably have horses. Their inhabitants call them Horses, but between them they use different language. And due to the writer writing this masterpiece in 1 language we find ourselves in this predicament. What is actually strange is that for this number of divine plant treasures which are exceedingly rare (not as commonplace as horses or dogs or dentists) both places use the same “descriptive” name.
Maybe Tang’s reincarnation in this novel’s universe is something like the multiple planes of Coiling Dragon and Celestial Transformations, where one attains the highest strength possible he is transferred to a higher level of existence with a new set of trials.
There is also the issue with Tang San’s name. Although his name in the Tang sect was Tang San, his name was not reported as to be given due to any specific reason. In this continent, his name was his mother’s nickname (meaning his mother probably had a much different name -or not). So as far as his name being the same, it would be divine coincidence :).
Sorry for the textwall, honestly I hope that TD is another migrant from the original world/Realm/reality/Plane. That would be fun and complex to delve into.
1) plants – they are so rare that their names are same as they were thousand years ago. Common people only change words they use in their life.
2) Tang San – San = three, Tang = name of sect, Tang = name of his new family.
I do not understand either of your two points.
1)
Do you mean to say it is one and the same world and the languages simply changed but the names for the flowers stayed the same?
If so it might actually be possible but it is highly unlikely. The time it takes for languages to change is as you aknowledged very long in the hubdrets to thousands of years. Now if we try to find out if it is indeed the same world then lets assume a certain amount of time passed 10000 years for example even if the languages would change to the extend needed other distinct properties of the world should need far longer. Say the changing of the landmasses or the emergence of spirit beasts abilities and subsequent loss of all history of the ancient times(you know Tang Sect and what was going on in their times).
Since 100000 year old beasts seem to exist even if we suppose it is the same world so much time has passed that I find it highly improbable that the names of these flowers that are so incredibly rare and apparently not even known to Dugu Bu who owned them and had an interest in unusual plants (if only for poisons maybe) somehow survived all that time but no historys pertaining the Tang Sect or Weapons that might even stand up to Spirit Duolous did so. And what about technology it doesn’t seem that in all that time that would have needed to pass they made any great inventions.
In conclusion i believe it must be a completly different world (if only by the grace of enough time passing that it makes no difference either way). Why the flowers would be named the same in both worlds I’ll assume they either are supposedly so awesome that they and their true names transcend all realms. Or the author didn’t think that much about it and simply used the names the reader is already familiar with.
2)
I belive by now we are all familiar with the meaning of Tang Sans name in either world. So why would you bring it up?
Since in my eyes its not important to the point Anon raised in regards to the name. The point as I understood it being we weren’t given an explanaion for the name Tang San. Do all apprentices of the Sect get named Tang and a number pertaining their age, proficencies, success in some sort of tests or standing in the social order etc.? Is it only for orphans taken in by the Sect? And how incredibly rare it would be to get the same name if not for the interference of gods or fate.
There I think i have that wal of text beaten. And lastly I agree if he was a second migrant because that could be awesome.
1) There is at least some connection between worlds, so there is probability of another man could transfer some time ago. It could be 1000 years ago even more. Because these plants are very rare it is not surprising at all that they had no names before. Also because these plants are very rare it is not surprising that their names have not been changed since then.
Do you know how words change over time? The words change under the influence of other languages or using ordinary people in everyday life.
2) The more common name is the more likely it’ll be given to a child. Short names with clear meanings are pretty common. So it not a issue at all.
“This year he was twenty nine, since he had entered Tang Sect not long after being born, he was the third most senior among outer sect disciples, and as a result the outer sect disciples named him Third Young Master[4]. Of course, in the mouths of the inner sect disciples it became Tang San[5].”
He was an orphan, he had no other name, so “Tang San” became his name.
#1 well, it’s a homogenized language. The flower names are descriptive of their appearance and properties – “Beautiful Silk Tulip” of Rongrong’s is literally a beautiful silky tulip, “Yearning Heartbroken Red” will only bloom for one with such heartfelt feelings, etc.
My thought was that Tang was actually reincarnated into the past, and created the Tang Sect and the hidden weapons himself, using the knowledge he gained through his first life, which noone else was then able to replicate afterwards, so they become legendary items. It’s just, that doesn’t explain the lack of Spirit Beasts in his original world, unless it’s so far in the future and they all died out.
someone in the future learn how to make weapon, go into the past recreate the sect he was in and make weapon and technique he learned in the future, who invented the weapon and technique in the first place?
without even talking about the butterfly effect, this theory is filled with hole.
tang san is clever i think he will have somehow unerstand if it was the past, all the thing about ring will have become legend and myth, the spirit bone remains after death but he never heard about such powerful weapon in his past life, even the spirit tool he may have some knowledge about such tool event if it’s lost but no. And finally why would a lowly orphan adopted into the outer sect who was’nt allowed to learn the secret of the tang sect to have been given the name of the founder, I don’t think it’s possible for a sect to forgot where it came from.
I hope with all my hearth that the author don’t go this way and stay with fate thing because it’s already a total nonsense.
your right that the metaphorical name of the flower are the same even if there have been other otherworlder in the past, why would otherworlder be the first to discover immortal flower? the way he is introduced i don’t think he is a migrant, maybe he have some innate knowledge and maybe the name of the flower who are considered to be heaven treasure are given by god or the spirit hall hold some secret from other migrant or it may be his own research.
To me there is absolutely no logic behind this and the fact that tang san was given the same name. I think that the author like many other use god/fate/karma to explain every coincidence, there is also a possibility that he never explain why, I have read this kind of thing a thousand times. To begin with if i remenber correctly tang san was in the outer sect and was adopted so he was not born with the name tang.
san ->tang san -> suicide -> tang san again can only be fate to me.
If you really think this world is different from Tang San’s original world then the fact that two world have the exact rare plant is impossible from the beginning.
I think the theory the this world is the same world but in the far far past is much more make sense than different world at all.
Because it never mentioned that Tang Sect is the one named all the Immortal Treasures, right?
So isn’t it more make sense that the IT were named before Tang Sect wrote their encyclopedia.
As a matter of language, well time change language change but meaning don’t change.
It’s possible for the language to be ancient version forgotten by his time, or even easier explanation that he end up reincarnate in different continent with different language but similar culture.
If you were talking about normal plants I would be 100% on your side but in light of them being mystical all powerful superplants there is nothing that conclusivly proves they could only exist in one reality. If you take the idea of several planes into account that other serials so often use where as it was said before once the MC reaches a certain lvl he goes to the next plane with new challenges but all the planes are connected then they might actually exist in all those parallel realms.
Your theory has a weak point in the history that was kept. If Tang Sect existed on this world only thousands of years later how come they seem to have lost all historic texts so much as mentioning spirit beasts. With the way Tang San was described at the beginning I believe if such a historic text had existed he would have known and remembered. Also how come in the supposed future of the Tang Sect they are still at the same overall technological level. That doesn’t make sense to me.
And lastly Time might change Language but Immortal Yearning Red is very destinctive and there is no reason why in another time it shouldn’t be called idk sorrowful Red or maybe tragic loves blossom or whatever so if the name is the exact same there should be a better reason than the meaning stays the same.
Everyone is thinking way too far into this. I think it’s pretty obvious that the reason that the author gave it the same name in two worlds was to save time. To begin with, this isn’t the first peculiarity that happened with language in this series (or any series for that matter). It is literally impossible for a whole continent to have a single homogenized language, but no one really complains about that. In the same way, people shouldn’t be so befuddled over what is clearly just an author saving effort and confusion by using the same name for the same plant (much like he would use the same language across the whole continent to avoid actually having to MAKE or reference a second language).
It’s almost impossible for Tang San to be in the same world. Let’s assume that he is in the same world in the past, and that the spirit beasts all died so that they don’t exist in the future. That doesn’t explain why people were able to advance in the Tang clan’s Mysterious Heaven Skill without spirit rings.
As stated multiple times in the story, the Mysterious Heaven Skill in this world can only advance with spirit rings.
I can’t believe it… I hate it… I got a Philosophie exam this morning so I can’t read it… I’m explosing inside!!! Argh !! ( the Cell countdown => DBZ ) slursh
well they’re not allowed to be killed, but that doesn’t mean they can’t interefere which should make it rather complicated to kill the others. If the Herb-Geek also gives the other shrek seven a “don’t kill them”-ticket because they reveal somehow that they ate an immortal treasure.
Who is too excited and wants to know more info? For eg. How powerful has Tang San become or funny moments. Can email me at candychua1981@yahoo.com for spoilers or any other requests on info.
Considering pretty much all of us expect to see a TD go flipping crazy on the next 5 paragraphs, this Cliffhanger is Twisted, torturously CRUEL and utterly unacceptable! WE NEED TD CRAZY MODE NOW!
hehe, semi-joking there…
Tang Yú for the wonderful translation, and please please please release the next chapter fast, we ‘re bleeding here….
So i guess I’m the only one asking, “How does he know it’s an immortal herb? When only people from the tang sect should know?”. This guy is obvs revived..
Probably not. Just that immortal treasures tend to always have the same name in multi-universe settings. Heck, many “treasures” have similar name throughout various novels and setting by different authors.
It’s easier on the authors and readers.
There’s also the fact that those names really are a description of the abilities the treasure possess, so the name will be the same if the abilities are the same.
Those names were descriptions by the tang sect for what they did. If nothing else the heartbroken lore from Tang’s world which describes it shouldn’t be the same. And it’s been a fairly common thing that the Tang Sect knowledge isn’t spread across this world so for anybody to know of the immortal treasures in this world, let alone know them of the same name, is already astounding. Even if it’s just something to make life on the author easier (which isn’t something that seems like it’d be done in this story) it’s still incredible that he knows about them in such detail.
You know they never say that only the tang sect has knowledge about the herbs. They just say he learned it while researching with the tang sect but they also make it obvious that their are other powerful sects out there that probably arent completely ignorant to the world around them. The tang sect just recorded the existence of such herbs cause they probably had a huge impact on their rise to power.
thank you translator for your efforts..i see that you finally stopped being stubborn and changed the format of the text area, congratulations…
i dont know how long is this novel, but seems that quiet big part of it so far have been dedicated to competetions….now, i am not a writer but in my view, this usualy happens when the author is out of ides and just keeps the story around tournaments…like no one has ever done it, right? fresh new idea…
i just hope that after this tournament ends, the story would continue around some adventures…. yes there have been some side adventures, but the core is still tournament…
anyhoo, looking forward to see how the students will be saved… i am guessing another cliche moment will happen just right before they are killed, someone will appear…hmm, suspiciously timely appearance…..another fresh new idea, right?… all i am saying is that, the story is filled with cliche moments and cliche events…i read it becasue there’s nothing else left to read…
its 330 chapter for Doulou 1, (its done in chinese) and doulou 2 already exist and people already translating that. Like we only 1/3 of the way there Q_Q
It reminds me of classic Kung Fu movies, often the kids are training there asses off in a school, meets rival school in a tournament before some warlord/ royalty , rivalries/ revenge come into play and then a foreign power/ gang comes in and starts the real bloodshed.
My guess is this tournament is the turning point as this assassination attempt is carried out in the emperors procession to the final, major insult and lets face it, it’s costing a lot of face on both sides. Someone has to die
Well it seems you lack appreciation and imagination. Your comment shows how shallow of a person you are. You don’t see the uniqueness of the story and its development potential. Until now, only one third of the story has been translated. As you said big part of it had been dedicated to competitions. I think that’s because it is crucial to the development of the story. Just try to foresee and look deeper into the story. I hope you’ll appreciate it more. 😄
No the tournament structure also has another very important function in novels. Especially ones that have time jumps like this one and thats to show the differences in power and gain knowledge againt fighting human opponents. Its also a way to build unity for a team. Tournaments tend to garner respect and display power in a public fashion. Its an easy way to understand how spectacular the kids are
then there has to be some time skip to have MC to reach the strongest title…1/3 is gone and he is only at 42 level…i assume another 50 chapter will be wasted on this tournament….
any place where there’re spoiler summaries of ahead volumes???
and they have only spent like 20 chapters on the tournament so far. You make it sound like the entire book so far has been 1 tournament after the next. I mean they did have another tournament type thing but that didn’t last long either.
Stellar transformations is one with a ton of chapters out, superpowereds is like a western version of DD, and yeah anything on wuxiaworld or flower translations is generally like DD too.
I’d say it’s possible that twin spirit people are reincarnated, since they have an extra spirit in their body. So it’s possible another twin spirit brought the plant names with him to spirit hall? Just a possibility.
The flower loving Doulou, the name says it all. He clearly has extensive knowledge of plants due to research and likely has a plant type spirit tool. The shock in Tang san’s mind was because those things are so rare in any world for some one to know them by name is surprising. Think of this… the yin-yang or fire and ice well exists by the same name so why wouldn’t the flowers?
Thanks for the chapter

Tks for the chapter.
LikeLike
match ups of spirit can influence and hinder the power of others. then there is also which type of spirit master they are, agilities are stupidly hard to hit, defence types have great power and even greater defence, controls although majorly different are all tricky b*stards xD shi nian would have fared quite well here if he didn’t cause his own death at tang sans hands xD
LikeLike
Theres obviously quite a few spirit masters of notable strength mixed into those 1500, and more waiting outside. It seems the main goal here is to exhaust them all, injure as few as possible, and primarily to kill Tang San. Though it seemed the Shrek Seven Devils are also a fairly high priority on the list to kill yet not mandatory. The only high level objective they’re likely to have is to deal with tang san specifically. White robed Title Doulou? Spirit hall much?
LikeLike
LikeLike
Furthermore, there could be a few high ranked auxilary type spirit masters supporting the “normal” soldiers.

GAH! I was just thinking of the white robes being a trademark of spirit hall, i completely forgot about the flower being one of their symbols on those tokens.

Well the author doesn’t really need to explain. You assume the names could be different since he is in another world but if you go with this logic the author would need to explain why in both worlds a cat is called a cat, a human a human and that would just make the whole story complicated for nothing and would not bring anything to the story itself.
LikeLike

How can you share if they won’t understand it? reading it on your own language is good, but would instead taken you aback from culturing your self to the outside world thus creating only your own world that most people won’t understand. i think the point they are making is that Crysanthemum Doulou knows the Immortal Treasures by the name Tang San know it in his previous life. Although these Treasures are in this current “dimension/universe/continent” that Tang San reincarnated in, the Crysanthemum Doulou should know these Treasures by a different name (local plant name) and not the name Tang San knows them by.

I am going to have to disagree with you,
Since all of this happened back in chap 80, I wouldn’t think this to be considered a spoiler.

“You are ordered to kill this guy, good news is, he’s the son of the guy who kicked your butt! Win win!”

Still doesnt explaine the exact same names for the flowers.

LikeLike
LikeLike
1) There is at least some connection between worlds, so there is probability of another man could transfer some time ago. It could be 1000 years ago even more. Because these plants are very rare it is not surprising at all that they had no names before. Also because these plants are very rare it is not surprising that their names have not been changed since then.
Do you know how words change over time? The words change under the influence of other languages or using ordinary people in everyday life.
2) The more common name is the more likely it’ll be given to a child. Short names with clear meanings are pretty common. So it not a issue at all.

Actually #2 was answered in the prologue.
LikeLike
someone in the future learn how to make weapon, go into the past recreate the sect he was in and make weapon and technique he learned in the future, who invented the weapon and technique in the first place?
without even talking about the butterfly effect, this theory is filled with hole.
tang san is clever i think he will have somehow unerstand if it was the past, all the thing about ring will have become legend and myth, the spirit bone remains after death but he never heard about such powerful weapon in his past life, even the spirit tool he may have some knowledge about such tool event if it’s lost but no.
LikeLike
your right that the metaphorical name of the flower are the same even if there have been other otherworlder in the past, why would otherworlder be the first to discover immortal flower? the way he is introduced i don’t think he is a migrant, maybe he have some innate knowledge and maybe the name of the flower who are considered to be heaven treasure are given by god or the spirit hall hold some secret from other migrant or it may be his own research.

He actually does say in the very beginning that he had to learn a brand new language from birth but im sure you are right about the saving time stuff

LikeLike
Those names were descriptions by the tang sect for what they did. If nothing else the heartbroken lore from Tang’s world which describes it shouldn’t be the same. And it’s been a fairly common thing that the Tang Sect knowledge isn’t spread across this world so for anybody to know of the immortal treasures in this world, let alone know them of the same name, is already astounding. Even if it’s just something to make life on the author easier (which isn’t something that seems like it’d be done in this story) it’s still incredible that he knows about them in such detail.
LikeLike
You know they never say that only the tang sect has knowledge about the herbs. They just say he learned it while researching with the tang sect but they also make it obvious that their are other powerful sects out there that probably arent completely ignorant to the world around them. The tang sect just recorded the existence of such herbs cause they probably had a huge impact on their rise to power.

i just hope that after this tournament ends, the story would continue around some adventures…. yes there have been some side adventures, but the core is still tournament…
anyhoo, looking forward to see how the students will be saved… i am guessing another cliche moment will happen just right before they are killed, someone will appear…hmm, suspiciously timely appearance…..another fresh new idea, right?… all i am saying is that, the story is filled with cliche moments and cliche events…i read it becasue there’s nothing else left to read…

Its an easy way to understand how spectacular the kids are

and they have only spent like 20 chapters on the tournament so far. You make it sound like the entire book so far has been 1 tournament after the next. I mean they did have another tournament type thing but that didn’t last long either.

The manga is really f*cked up. Suddenly a 10000 year spirit ring is suddenly a million year spirit ring. It doesn’t make any sense.

Does anyone know a novel similiar to this one? Besides CD and BTTH, and if possible with a lot of translated chapters 😛
