    • Hmmmm , now that I think about it , can’t he just train for like 5 years and then be op ? I’m sure once he reaches 70th rank his yama’s invitation will end up being able to work on title Douluo so , he can be safe

      Like

      • Yeah it would work but he only has like 2 left and making them is a very long and hard process and I’m not sure if he has the ingredients to make it again atm.

        • Ik , but i’m just saying out of spirit halls apparent 7 title douluo’s there , if he can bypass their spirit power barriers , thats 2 dead, making it pretty much even out!

          Like

        • Not really that hard for him , if he can get past protective barrier , then he can kill them no matter who , problem is that he has to train for a while to be able to bypass title douluo’s barriers , to be able to hit them with it.

      • The ingredients for Yama’s Invitation are too hard to find.
And it says there is marked difference in power between even a Spirit Douluo and Title Douluo, would probably be impossible for a Spirit Sage to confront a Title Douluo

        Like

        • No like , remember he said he currently didn’t have enough spirit power to throw yama’s invitation for it to pierce through I think that if he was lvl 40 and threw it past a lvl 70 protection , then a 70 can throw it past a lvl 90 protection . Also I’m not saying he make more , i’m just saying that he can gurantee 2 dead title duoluo’s with the yama invitations he has left.

  2. So we finally get told something that many of us had suspicions of from long ago that both Tang San’s mother and Xiao Wu are 100,000 year spirit beasts. Hmmm wonder how the kids of Tang San and Xiao Wu would turn out. Would they become the first triplet spirit masters since it seems likely the Xiao Wus soft boned rabbit would be just as powerful a spirit as both the clear sky hammer and the blue silver grass which is what is required for a twin spirit master to be born. Or maybe they would just have little rabbits that wielded hammers and grass for weapons lol.

    • We know that only one spirit can be activated at any given time and if we assume that spirits only show up on the hands and only one spirit per hand, then unless their kid had three hands it won’t happen. In any case, the silver grass of Tang San’s is extremely special [not going to spoil] and I doubt the soft boned rabbit, as a spirit, is as strong as his silver grass. As mentioned in this chapter, the strength of the spirit beast doesn’t matter once it reaches 100,000 years. So for all we know the soft boned rabbit could be a weak spirit beast that managed to live very long (Maybe since they were close to stronger spirit beasts, da-ming and er-ming).

  3. I have dark suspitions about where the Supreme Pontiff got her 100,000 year spirit ring, and why she was so desperate to nuke Tang San.

If I found an upcoming Superhuman, and realised I had killed and eaten the soul of his mother, I would freak out too.

    • The more likely scenario is that Tang Hao’s own red ring is from his wife. The story was that Tang Hao suddenly became a Titled Duoluo AFTER his confrontation with Spirit Hall over a certain “treasure” (his wife). Also, Bibi Dong just stated that she only recently became a Titled Duoluo after training a lot after Tang Hao killed the old Pontiff.

      Like

      • No, it was revealed he has become a Title Duoluo (surprisingly) when Spirit Hall came to gave him a fight. This was when Tang San was yet to be born (this is what has been said so far by a third party I think – don’t remember which chapter). Tang San Mother was pregnant, about to give birth.

So I am sure she cannot become the red ring before giving birth. I am not denying your theory but your is too simple and I think Author writes much complex things than simple Shounen Manga type story (Stupid comparison – I know). Well we can wait for the actual explanation in later chapters.

BTW there is a possibility also that he was strong before even getting a Red Ring and got the Ring after the fight (say towards the end, when Tang San was born).

But if he got Red Ring after the fight then I would much likely say that he got it even later like after he Left Tang San on his own. I would say he likely obtained it in the forest near Shrek Academy (just a really really far fetched wild guess – I am not sure about it myself). This could be why his 9th ring was only faint red at that time. But it for sure that whenever he got he, he didn’t fully cultivate it (faint red – I am hoping Author was not trolling about it).

PS: If any of my stated facts are wrong, please point out as some things I am talking about are of really early chapters.

    • Well, it seems like Xiao Wu’s mother also were killed by Spirit hall(atleast i believe i can remember reading about that), which would explain why Tang Hao also got a 100,000 year spirit ring.

If my belief is then right, it is most likely that Bibi Dong got her spirit ring from Xiao Wus mother, and Tang Hao, after having fought and killed the last Supreme Pontiff, left with his close to death wife, and ended her life himself, thereby gaining her Spirit Ring.

But what excites me the most, is that since Tang Sans mother was a 100,000 year spirit beast, it is possible he might become “immortal” in the same way a Spirit Beast would at the rank of Titled Doulou.

Although this will be seen in Douluo Dalu 2…. aaaaah, i can barely wait~

How else would he have married 100,000 year beast in the first place if he was eager to just kill Spirit Beats?

DMR why are you playing dumb with the first sentence. BTW what all Chinese WN/LN do you read? I think I saw you on some other site too and I see you here more often. And if he fell in love with her first, then he wouldn’t have killed Tang San’s mom.

So he fell for her before he knew what she was or he fell for her and refused to kill her.

I doubt he would have spared mama if he didn’t like her. My sentence was just a way of stating that Xiao Wu was lucky Tang Hao fell for a 100,000 year beast.

        *Zhan Long
*Who cares if this is an RPG (Japanese style though)

I am following Stellar Transformation, Coiling Dragon, Zhan Long already and much more

The Author is quite good but sometime, I don’t get why MC will curse everything that happens to him be it good or bad. I specially do not like it when he curses something good, when it is clearly good even if he thinks it not worth it. It is like, dude you have been dirt poor and had a miserable life, how can you curse a good thing happen to you even if it is not the greatest thing. Just an opinion and my ranting.

              Like

            • The problem with LMS is it’s at something like 40+ volumes and the author has specifically banned the translation of anything beyond volume 22, therefore a certain site that may or may not have breached that point is in fact breaking some really weird piracy and copyright laws…

              Like

              • Most, if not almost all translations are breaking a copyright law…. it isn’t different from any other translations. The only difference is that the author was cool enough to allow 20 volumes to be translated.

                Like

            • Actually as long as there is no otherwise stated problem directed by the author translations of their works for non-commercial purposes is entirely legal and not subject to the breaking of copyright laws, however by continuing translations beyond a point specifically stated by the author to be the a limit to the translations of their work copyright laws are actively being breached… It can be considered much like on youtube, where as long as it is not pursued or stated by the label holder music and works can be distributed without breaching copyright

          • I plan on reading those when I get the chance… but with all the series’ I’m reading and all the updates I have to deal with on a daily basis (for comics and novels -using these terms cause they aren’t all Japanese- and anime) I don’t have the time….

Just don’t start liking Alice… I find that she suffers more than she deserved, but she makes 1 big mistake that makes people not like her (only 1 though… but fans ain’t forgiving).

MGA is kinda awesome too…. and the best part… kid is actually getting a harem..,,

Only flaw is that the MC is one of the *not nicest* MCs and the story has too much rape or almost rape…. and it’s kinda obviously just to make the MC look better too…..

Which is part of what I like about Chu Feng, he isn’t a generic shouneny dude that tries to emulate the power rangers. He reacts to things in a way that resonates with my personality.

              • Shonen characters aren’t really that bad… but to be honest, a shonen world isn’t nearly as dark as a Wuxia world. (Though it should be noted that shonen series are written in mind to be enjoyed by children and adults, while Wuxia is only for adults… which is why Wuxia comic adaptions are more for kiddies… to put the series to a broader audience…)

But even then, this series seems to go a bit too far. I don’t mind him sticking up for himself or killing his enemies… but I do feel he at times goes to far and is also a bit of a jerk…. even by Wuxia standards… course, even in the series, he was noted to be bad by the tiger….

“Are you always by little San’s side?”
    Xiao Wu shocked asked.

Is she referring to the past? As in was he watching over Tang San for the past 8 years? I am a little confused because the next sentence is ““No, but at least I will be for a long time. ” This is talking about the future, so maybe Xiao Wu meant “Will you be by little San’s side?”.

It kinds made sense not to stop at such a point as the suspense would kill us.

To the point – I think Tang Hao killed Tang San’s mother in order to protect little San. That would explain why he was so depressed. Also he want’s Tang San to be strong enough and make the decision to hate him for it and fight him (kind of a self punishment).

  27. I think the previous Spirit Hall Pontiff, Bibi Dong’s teacher, cornered Tang San’s parents. He nearly killed Tang San’s mom but died in the process. Tang Hao then killed his wife this having the Red Spirit ring, Hundred Thousand years old. Thus having Tang Hao hide from Spirit Hall because he was mourning…

  28. In the following part:
Tang Hao clenched his teeth, but still asked the question he most wanted to know the answer to,
“Was mom killed by Spirit Hall?”.

The “Tang Hao” should be “Tang San”

“If she only looked at TANG SAN, Xiao Wu wouldn’t have believe that he dared publicly humiliate Spirit Hall in front of the Supreme Pontiff Palace, facing several formidable Title Douluo by himself.”

      It’s probably tang hao.

Thank you for the chapter bagelson! You’re simply the best. 😄

      • When those Titled Douluo looked at Xiao Wu, Tang San shielded her from the view by placing himself between her and them. Then he continued with saying (simplified): “No.”. That’s where he “publicly humiliated” them.

wa–h? So, Tang San’s mother was…incredible!Tang San is mixed blood, huh. But certainly, that fits with Grandmaster’s theory of why Tang San has twin spirits, which is also incredibly remarkable! I wonder when Tang San will find out details about his mother, though. Hopefully after training, right? Cool—!

  33. I thnk tht tang hao killed the mom so he can get the spirit ring instead of the supreme pointiff getting it and then once he got it he killed the supreme pointiff with it. She probably told him to do it so she can be with him in spirit
