In all seriousness though, Tang San is not the type that would have sex or even love a second person beside his little sister. He is unique among Xiaoxia protagonist (who are mostly perverts, arrogance, or straight-up rapists (MGA protag in a nutshelf)), which is what make this novel so fun to read. Beside, I also know how this story end so…
I quit reading MGA because he has serious temper issues. His arrogance makes him the next Narcissus without a mirror. And he has serious issues with his lower regions. Seriously though… Someone should have him see a counselor… And maybe crush his genitals as a side lesson. ^(-_-)^
Really? Isn’t Chu Feng only pissed off when someone harms his family or when they hurt him. As for the sex part, he only raped two person(up to the latest chapter), one when he was under the influence of a medicine(thanks to the girls father), and second because the two girls pissed him off bad.
I agree with the raping part, but the revenge part and killing part has to be there, no? It’s called Martial God Asura, and Asuras kill a lot, right? Like Tang San here, he killed a lot of people during these latest chapters. Linley too form CD, even though he isn’t an asura he can be compared to one, and he also killed a lot of people.
I really am finding it hard to like MGA’s protagonist.. Although some of the stuff he did was justifiable and some were too much that I think he’s just showing off but he’s a bit obnoxious and arrogant.! I haven’t progress reading where there’s rape stuff is going to happen though and I’m already losing interest but I guess I’ll have to preserve reading it because they said that the story is going to be interesting once you get to chapter 60… *sigh*
The first few chapters are indeed not that interesting, but later on when he actually fights and kills. Well that’s when things start to get interesting. For example when he kills out of revenge(they kill his family), they way he kills is absolutely amazing. You’ll get chills when reading those chapters.
Before reading the Slaughter City Arc, I’d totally agree with you! But now I’m kind of torn. Hu Leina has been displaying disturbingly large amounts of awesomeness and badassery as of late. Add to that, she is old enough now that her personality traits and quality of character won’t go through any drastic changes. The biggest problem with her will be arrogance most likely. Xiao Wu, on the other hand, could go either way. She’s still dealing with a lot of pain and anger from losing her mother at such an early age (wanting to throw the world in disarray). While this is normal for anyone with a messed up childhood, it doesn’t make for a good relationship. But, Xiao Wu is still young, and hasn’t yet hit that fork in the road where she will have to make a decision regarding this. Both of them are strong, intelligent, loyal, attractive, and can be considered as Tang San’s equals; plus both of them have the ability to harmonize with Tang San’s movements and attack patterns…
I’d have to say I’m 50/50 right now between the two
Don’t worry. The relationship between Tang San and another girl will never happen. The role of Hu Liena is just a background to show how much he loves Xiao Wu

Is Hu Liena being dumb (maybe it is the crush/love factor)? I get it she cannot just think of him as Tang San but still how is their no doubt at all.
PS2: Isn’t Tang San taller that Hu Liena? (I am not sure just asking because I think their butt would not touch) If anyone know please clarify.
I am in the same ship as yours. I have been in this ship since he first comb the hair for Xiao Wu. 8 years and their love is still so pure, so innocent, so sweet and super cute.
For Hu Liena, I just do not see why people start shipping this relationship. What I see is nothing but naked body, seduction attempt, butt and butt. Not to mention Tang San does not have a feeling for her at all.
It was stated that she is at the same height as Xiao Wu when she was at 14 years old, around 1.75m. Tang San is 1.8m.

This is why despite the manhua, I still read these translations. It clearly shows an indepth view of things. These scenarios, the hell road was downplayed in the counterpart when visibly the things that happened shows the growth the characters had and the meaningful reason why and how Hu Liena is smitten to Tang San.
The manhua is an abomination. Even if I never heard of the novel, it’s terrible. The transitions are horrible, and they constantly make up random garbage. In addition to that, the translation is also garbage. There was one chapter where they kept calling the 10,000 spirit ring a 100 million spirit ring (something like that, in the millions). Also during the blazing academy vs. shrek chapter, they said the fire girl was raising her spirit level or some bs like that. Gets me mad just thinking about it

Manhwas are always quicker than the novel, but The Douluo Dalu Manhwa has got to be the most confusing, childish crap in the history on manhwas.
I know not all manhwas match the original novel, but at the very least they could have made it interesting and not so stupid.
It looked like they were forcing humor on a manhwa that could have flowed better without it.
