I can imagine Oscar using both twin spirits but I wonder would the power be split in between. Like if they’re both at Title Doulou then he can only use 40% of both spirits which would total 80%. So it would be halved and not as strong as a single spirit or somethjng like that.

No I think the maxed out CSH would be too much for oscar to handle… don’t forget he only gets 80% of the power but has to use 100% of the energy required… the CSH consumption would just be way too high… be better off using BSE and letting Tang San smash with CSH… OHH, or double up with rongrong and user her support powers!!!!
It’s never been stated that he can’t. True he has actively canceled one before showing the other in most cases, but in the most recent fight he trapped 4 of the 7 devils and showed his hammer at the same time.
But then again using the spirit abilities and just simply showing his spirits are two different things. Trapping them is an ability, showing his hammer isn’t. So i guess it would mean he cant use spirit abilities of BSE and CSH at the same time.
actualy he tried once but his body couldnt take it. and he hasnt tried since. so oscar probably cant either (basicaly garuanteed actualy) also as stated tang would need to release both spirits at the same time in the first place. also innate abilities are a part of what oscar recieves because its a complete copy so he would be able to use the BSE domain but may not be able to use the innate killing intent domain (thought it seems to have been obsorbed into the CSH so he may) however he would not be able to use any of tangs extra created skills(tang sect skills) or mubais or xiao wu’s or…
I’m not sure if Little Ao will be able to lift the hammer. Even without rings he weight 500 but if he will be able then who cares about % it’s the most deadly tool spirit in the world.
You guys are forgetting that Hao Te had to activate his spirit power and reveal the rings before giving Oscar his blood. = Tang San can only have one of his two spirits activated at the same time.
Remember each ability is stored for a long time so they don’t necessarily have to show him during an actual battle. A year is a long time to be able to use all the seven devils abilities, even with the restraints.
What spirit Oscar will obtain from Tang San’s blood, BEG, CSH, twin spirits?
If it twin spirits at the time Tang San reach Title Doulou and perfect both his spirits his blood gonna be more precious than elixir to Oscar.
Seeing as the bear dude Oscar first copied needed to activate his spirit before taking blood, i would assume Oscar can only copy one of the spirits at a time. He could make 2 vials with each of the spirits, but that isn´t that much different from normal spirits. Plus Oscar wouldn´t know the distorting wind technique of the tang-sect. I also think he wouldnt get the resistances of tang-san, seeing as they are innate abilities rather than spirit abilities.
Woah, Oscar you turned bad-ass. The fact that you could mimic spirits, now wouldn’t that make you literally invincible. I mean your brothers and sisters all possess top rate spirits, and if you were to mimic one of theirs…………………..the result is quite clear.
He only gets a percentage of the spirits power, while the cost remains. In other words, if Oscar and Mubai both charged up and straight up attacked each other, Mubai’s power would overwhelm him. No, not invincible at all. He just has a lot more utility now that he can do something other than slap sausages at everyone.
im pretty sure oscar can now just let the whole seven devils use fusion abilities. like giving zuqing and mubais abilities to them. that would be crazy op. this is ofc on the premise that he actually gives them the spirit for 3 minutes and not just the abilites
Doubt it. Oscar would only have the strength of a Spirit Doulou. He could win with tactics/luck, but he wouldn’t crush them. That’s the major drawback to his sausages. It gives you utility, not raw power. Even if it was Tang Hao or Sword Chen’s power, it’s still 70-80%.
Actually Oscar could hold his own with Mubia if it was his blood for the sausage. Take into account Oscars enormous spirit power then factor that he can use 80% of Mubia’s power but he still has his own rage sausage boosting him another 10% but he got another ring so I’m unsure if the duration goes up or the amount of the effect. Then add if Rongrong was backing him as its been said her effect mesh with Oscar’s so in affect he could out man Mubia if he fought with tactics and not going head to head in full terms of strength
actualy your all forgetting that oscar’s best asset now is utility. meaning that he can now use all of the offensive and defensive spirits i.e. control spirit, power attack, agility. aswell as a dominating type of spirit that counters the other spirit specificaly. its like he can change weapons but everybody else is stuck with the same thing. so if he were to fight mubai he would use tang sans bse and so on. the only time he would be at a disadvantage is when the other party has a ring advantage on him ie oscar 69 mubai 71. also, when he is title douluo everyone will be the same relative level as him so he can use 100% of thier power(more powerful spirits only 80% equal or less powerful 100%). meaning at title douluo this food system spirit master will literaly be invincible. infact thats his later name “eat uncles big invincible sausage title douluo” (joking i dont realy know)

Most likely one at a time. Probably also needs blood each time he makes one, so he can stock up on them since they last for a year. Eating one already consumes all his spirit afterwards and it lasts for 3minutes. After which he becomes a liability.
I think it is the MAKING of the sausage that drains him, not partaking of its powers. And I’m pretty sure its only a third of his power that one consumes.
Yes, the making of the sausages currently consumes 1/3 of his spirit power. Then, activating any abilities/power of the copied spirit will consume spirit power equal to the original spirit consumption of the ability/power but only 70% of power output (or 80% if the blood is of the same spirit level as his).
If Tang San didn’t have twin spirits, I think that Oscar would be the most powerful (in a team ofc) followed by Ronron with her capability to become Title douluo. These sausages are bonkers! The possibilities that Mirror Sausage brings are too many to count.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ronron and Oscar end up having a stupidly overpowered support fusion ability that would make a puppy into a tyrannical Three headed dog from hell on steroids doing hulk smashes left and right by simply walking.
I have to disagree even when they were in a team and tang only used his blue silver grass he was more powerful than Oscar and contributed to the team more,and now that his blue silver grass is now blue silver emperor he completey outstrips Oscar in power and usefulness to the team
Tang San only used his blue silver grass and did more than Oscar. You must remember that Oscar’s fast leveling is thanks to Tang San that gave him the immortal treasure which will fasten his cultivation till level seventy. And if I remember correctly the immortal treasure that Oscar and Rongrong took were a pair so a spirit fusion is very possible.
In terms of talent i think you could put Oscar in place 1 or 2 of the Seven Devils since it was stated that cultivation is the most difficult for food system spirit masters.
And of course Oscar cant keep up with Tangs work in the team but without Oscars regenerative abilitys and the support he gave there would still be no winning for the Seven Devils in nearly all fights they had.

I am curious to know what his 5th spirit ring ability is and how the two are gonna decide who gets the spirit bone, i assume neither has the ability to tell what type it is and who it will be more beneficial to.
I feel that Oscar been the good guy that he is will offer it to Hao Te but he will decline it and say that it would be far better for Oscar to take, then there will be some words about how he needs to become stronger so that he can marry Ning Rongrong. That seems like he most logical outcome, of course Hao Te could say it straight up that he wants it, i don’t think Oscar would mind all that much. However this adds another question to the mix, can he copy spirit bones abilities as well as normal ones with his Mirror Sausage? if so then well anyone that denies his affection to Ning Rongrong clearly has mental shortcomings. It’s also goes from one of the stronger abilities shown to the strongest ability in the series so far.
Exactly my thought. Specially since they keep for a year. These freaking sausages can even strategically categorized by spirit to use it simply for the spirit suppression effect. Like the phoenix spirit effect on other bird spirits and other prey. For elemental advantage like in the same case where Fatty suppressed plant spirits with his fire spirit. Well, they could go ask grandmaster what is the spirit bone if thy don’t know. But I think they know because when the shrek seven devils won the three spirit bones five years ago they knew if the spirit bones suite them without asking grandmaster.
I doubt it. don’t forget, that from the start Tang San’s spirit was confirmed as trash, and what makes him so OP is his meticulous ways of using it. and that’s not something that someone else (even Oscar, that was near him for a while and only secont in astution) can master in a short period, without practicing it over some time. guess he’ll gain more copying Mubai, Zhuquing and Fatty’s spirits.
At first, Tang San’s spirit, Blue Silver Grass, was confirmed as trash. However, his Clear Sky Hammer was top tier, as is his current Blue Silver Emperor (which if you remember, replaced the “trash” Blue Silver Grass. From what I understand so far, the way the sausage works is that it gives the person’s abilities – so if used on Tang San, it should allow the use of either spirit’s power.
Now, all this speculation is just based on stuff up to this point, so if you have spoilers or read ahead, please don’t spoil it for me.
I practicaly predicted (in my mind) exactly which hability he would get… well I came up with three theories for his possible course of action to become strong:
1.-Go to slaughter city (obvously impossible after San destroyed it (unless he didn’t)).
2.-Ask San to teach him his Tang sect tecniques (Let’s face it: not THAT powerful and inneficient timewise).
3.-Get this exact Spirit hability (right down to the drop of blood; I love blodd sausages).
I was surprised when my sister told me that anyone was disappointed with Oscar.
Maybe it’s because I have a kind of deep affection for every single one of our Devils that personally, I’m ecstatic to finally read about his offensive ability, and to get a glimpse of his progress.
Cannot wait to see them ALL finally reunite though. That arc has me tingling with anticipation.
So he would have a lot of blood from spirit masters between rank 50-60 with kind of medicore spirits and then he can only pull out 80% of the original owners power… that will not be very usefull at all most enemys at the rank he could fight with this are pretty easy kills for the hidden weapons he already has
are you shure that blood of the dead Spirit Masters will do? and are you shure that he can keep that blood in bottle, coagulated, and maybe even rotten will do?
It’s very possible that there are spirit tools that can keep blood fresh for very long times or even indefinitely, so that shouldn’t be a problem; If the blood of corpses is useless then…
i think he might have to have the person who’s blood they are using activate their spirit and infuse the spirit into the blood. so i dont think he would be able to use dead spirit master’s blood
Wondering if Oscar will be able to use any of his other support abilities after he takes the silver sausage or has to wait till the effect is over after 3 minutes.
Other thought is if he can give other his silver sausage. Like if him and rongrong are in a pinch. So they both eat silver sausage from agility type spirits. (Yes I know he still has his flying sausage to escape). Or if he can use tang’s blood. Then everyone on the 7 devil’s minus tang eat it silver sausage and whip out the blue silver emporor or hammer. Or what if he makes a silver sausage from Tang’s blood……. The gives it to tang!!!! Plus a pink sausage!!!!!!

I dont think Oscar would be able to use Tang San’s spirit because he has two spirits and has a body that can withstand the burden but i dont think the others could. And if Ao use Tang’s blood he will obtain both spirits and would die in my opinion.
what if he ask to Tang San his blood when he use the hammer, than he give sausages to all the other devils less rongrong and than they use spirit fusion (x6) + rongrong support?
Yeah there is a good possibility that he will ask Tang to come with him to train hidden weapon arts since that is the best way to become strong enough to protect Rongrong from powers that even reach Title Douluo realm.
Also he could get Clear Sky Sausage Hammers of doom later on from him once he starts putting OP rings on his hammer. 🙂
Just imagine it doesnt matter if its only about 80% of the originals power if you have a Title Douluos ability copied and than that abillity is a Clear Sky Hammer with maybe only rings of 50k+ level.
what would happen if oscar say had sword douluo’s abilities. would he be able to unleash all 9 his abilities (obv at 70% since hes stronger) but still if schoolmaster ning gave him a spirit power boost he should be able to actually use the higher level abilities. i think this ability is sooo op.
yeah what you say bout rongrong and oscar is very true, but rongrong doesnt boost abilities directly, rather stats ao i think the actual strength of th e ability will be quite a bit lower than what you mathed. but your point is still true.
I feel like the true strength of the ability is not copying his opponents ability, but rather storing up lots of abilities so that he can counter his opponent by copying someones abilities that perfectly counter them. I think a perfect counter can make up for 30% less strength.
yeah this ability is really versatile. for example what if he gave rongrong and himself hell civet and evil eyes white tiger, would they be able to do spirit fusion. also yeah the countering should make up for the 20 odd percent disadvantage. really good ability
Reread the chap. Although Snow bear guy has seven spirit rings, after Oscar ate sausage, his rings became gray, but didn’t add seventh ring. So i guess, even if he has Title Douluo’s blood, he will have only his lower six rings copies
After he comes back to the Devils, Ning Rongrong will forever tag along Oscar.
With simple math, you’d know
Oscar’s current replication strength: 80% assuming he’s stronger
multiplied by Rongrong’s amplification strength: 170% (30% at rank 20 increasing per 10 level)
= 136% mirrored power utilization, at rank 90 Rongrong I’d be 160%
Basically they become a power couple relying on each other. Oscar making Rongrong his freakin b**ch man! She basically can’t live without him and *spoiler* Daddy approves baby!

It seems to be the drive lagging, but i think its because of the activity it sees on the comments document, because normally bagelson keeps uploading chapters as he finishes them, just that they might not be immediately visible.
So could he copy either Rongrong or Ning Fenghzi once everyone has a sausage and suddenly they have 2 Pagoda users in the 7 devils. Or simply (if the mirror sausage doesn’t actively use his power when utilizing the abilities within) he could copy either of them, boost his own spirit power and make stronger sausages.
He should be able to copy the spirit abilitys of RongRong but keep in mind it will only be at 80% of the users power if they are on equal level.
If the effect of the Pagoda can stack on top of each other is another thing we will have to wait and see 🙂

It seems to me that the most frightening of this 6th abilities stays in its effectiveness : one year. Each sausage costs one third of his strengh to produce but Oscar can make them in advance and store them.
So it seems this 6th ability has no direct cost in combat. Only the “external” abilities he gains have a cost.
I wonder if he can give those sausages to the other Shrek members. Imagine seven tigers, seven Clear Sky Hammers, or six Rongrong-like boosting one fighter…
Even if they had someone else use Rongrong’s spirit, they couldn’t make very efficient use of it. Even leaving the mirror sausage restrictions aside, they would need to be able to do the 3 aperture heart thing. A bunch of CSH would also not know how to do the disorder splitting wind method. Dai Mubai’s white tiger or Hongjun’s phoenix would probably be the best options.

Smart move by the author to limit Oscar’s mimicry powers. Otherwise, he’d be too powerful… think Sylar on the Heroes tv show.
So I take it now that he should be powerful enough to return to Ning Rongrong? He doesn’t have to be at his peak potential to reunite with her, right? Now he possesses the ability to protect her if required. Plus, if he takes this spirit bone then he’d become more formidable.
Any speculation as to how he developed this trusting relationship with Hao Te?
I think the chapter said that Oscar found him wounded in the forest after he was ambushed. Oscar helped him recover and hide/escape with his sausages. Han Solo/Chewy life debt stuff.

So this means Osca can use all sprit abilities, store them for at least year and can probably give the ability out to others. Wicked, if he was to collect the blood from each corps would he be able to use their ability? I wonder what his 5th sausage dose? ( that sounds wrong) 🙂 😀
Woot Oscar has really up’ed his game with this new ability of his and has become a lot colder than before,
however in regards to being OP for a food spirit master that seems to be the case however comparing him to Tang San hes still far far behind first off its true that for Oscar its suppose 2 be a lot harder to rank up but hes been ranking up for 5 years to reach the 60th rank compared to the rest of the seven devils thats true that should be top notch but from what i gather within the last 5 years Tang San being able to be at the 59th rank is kinda really impressive since while he was in the slaughter city his advancement during that 2 years was basically non existent well he did manage to move up 1 rank but thats it and then when he was sent to his Aunt he basically barely got to advance during that year or so either so out of the 5 years he mostly only got 2 years of true rank wise cultivation unless im mistaken. + During that five years he has also gain 2 domains something probably none of the others even posses which is said to be the greatest source of power to be able to defeat people with additional spirit rings then theirs the Tang sect secret arts that hes mastering that i personally thing in the end will create his third domain which will also dramatically increase his power then his handling of his hidden weapon far outstrips everyone else plus from what i gather from the time he made those really powerful hidden weapons at Dugu Bo’s place he probably is the only one capable of using them without the risk of harming himself in the process And finally when he gave everyone immortal treasure plants or what not out of all of the seven only himself and Xiao Wu dint get a type that increase their progress speed so his progress compared to the rest of them is kinda far far out of their reach its just that the author seems to make them all stay around the same rank so the author keep making him improve in different area but in the end even if their the same rank he is much much much stronger then the rest and hopefully in the next chapter we will see just how much

AC your comments are built on false premises. First of all people actually do make distinctions between real and fictional. If they didn’t practically all players of WoW would do genocide, all who had played mortal kombat would be murdering people in the most brutal way imaginable, and soldiers who have gone to war and killed people would hi-5 their buddies as if they were in a CoD game instead of getting PTSD.
But even if I concede that point, you would still not make much sense. If he’s really projecting himself as the MC and wishing to be the protagonist of a harem, then this means he’s pitiful? Have I teleported to some bizarro world where threesomes and generally sleeping with multiple women isn’t a common male fantasy? Sure we don’t do it now because relationships are the social norm, but for centuries people who could have a harem did have one, so I’m guessing it’s not a pitiful fantasy that can only pop up on the sexually repressed.
And even if he did actually have fantasies the roots of which were sexual problems. So what? Who amongst us isn’t fucked up in at least a single way? I don’t try to delude myself into thinking that my tendencies are normal, and if you want to call me out on it, I will happily admit to it. If DMR had the honesty to say “Yeah, you’re right, but this is who I am.” I probably would have just left it at that. Even given him a little respect for being able to be honest about himself.
Adahn, I have my own sexual/non-sexual fantasies, but I have the decency to keep them to myself. Even if I were to post them, I would not do so on a translation site for a novel. And certainly not repeatedly, across multiple chapters. If there was a forum and there was a thread made about fanfics and pairings, whatever, I wouldn’t care. MCR, Yot, Ada – AC is only antagonizing you guys because you guys are responding to his taunts. If you just ignore him or stop arguing with him, he’ll get bored and go harass someone else.
AC – to be fair, I don’t think MCR hasn’t posted any shippings in the past few chapters releases, I think. He/she also posts a lot of decent discussion on non-shipping related matters.
MCR – AC does kinda have a point though. He’s not the first person to react to your shipping posts and he won’t be the last. And we all know that realistically, the harem’s never going to happen. And when someone being a dick on the internet says they’ll keep going, they usually aren’t bluffing. I’ve seen Facebook posts reach 200+ comments from stubborn people not giving up. I can imagine Oscar using both twin spirits but I wonder would the power be split in between. Like if they’re both at Title Doulou then he can only use 40% of both spirits which would total 80%. So it would be halved and not as strong as a single spirit or somethjng like that.

Uhmm, percentage doesn’t work like that. 80% of Tang San’s total power is also 80% of powers from both BSE and CSH spirits.

No I think the maxed out CSH would be too much for oscar to handle… don’t forget he only gets 80% of the power but has to use 100% of the energy required… the CSH consumption would just be way too high… be better off using BSE and letting Tang San smash with CSH… OHH, or double up with rongrong and user her support powers!!!!

It’s never been stated that he can’t. True he has actively canceled one before showing the other in most cases, but in the most recent fight he trapped 4 of the 7 devils and showed his hammer at the same time.

actualy he tried once but his body couldnt take it. and he hasnt tried since. so oscar probably cant either (basicaly garuanteed actualy) also as stated tang would need to release both spirits at the same time in the first place. also innate abilities are a part of what oscar recieves because its a complete copy so he would be able to use the BSE domain but may not be able to use the innate killing intent domain (thought it seems to have been obsorbed into the CSH so he may) however he would not be able to use any of tangs extra created skills(tang sect skills) or mubais or xiao wu’s or…

Remember each ability is stored for a long time so they don’t necessarily have to show him during an actual battle. A year is a long time to be able to use all the seven devils abilities, even with the restraints.

What spirit Oscar will obtain from Tang San’s blood, BEG, CSH, twin spirits?
If it twin spirits at the time Tang San reach Title Doulou and perfect both his spirits his blood gonna be more precious than elixir to Oscar.

Seeing as the bear dude Oscar first copied needed to activate his spirit before taking blood, i would assume Oscar can only copy one of the spirits at a time. He could make 2 vials with each of the spirits, but that isn´t that much different from normal spirits. Plus Oscar wouldn´t know the distorting wind technique of the tang-sect. I also think he wouldnt get the resistances of tang-san, seeing as they are innate abilities rather than spirit abilities.

He only gets a percentage of the spirits power, while the cost remains. In other words, if Oscar and Mubai both charged up and straight up attacked each other, Mubai’s power would overwhelm him. No, not invincible at all. He just has a lot more utility now that he can do something other than slap sausages at everyone.

Doubt it. Oscar would only have the strength of a Spirit Doulou. He could win with tactics/luck, but he wouldn’t crush them. That’s the major drawback to his sausages. It gives you utility, not raw power. Even if it was Tang Hao or Sword Chen’s power, it’s still 70-80%.

Actually Oscar could hold his own with Mubia if it was his blood for the sausage. Take into account Oscars enormous spirit power then factor that he can use 80% of Mubia’s power but he still has his own rage sausage boosting him another 10% but he got another ring so I’m unsure if the duration goes up or the amount of the effect. Then add if Rongrong was backing him as its been said her effect mesh with Oscar’s so in affect he could out man Mubia if he fought with tactics and not going head to head in full terms of strength

actualy your all forgetting that oscar’s best asset now is utility. meaning that he can now use all of the offensive and defensive spirits i.e. control spirit, power attack, agility. aswell as a dominating type of spirit that counters the other spirit specificaly. its like he can change weapons but everybody else is stuck with the same thing. so if he were to fight mubai he would use tang sans bse and so on. the only time he would be at a disadvantage is when the other party has a ring advantage on him ie oscar 69 mubai 71. also, when he is title douluo everyone will be the same relative level as him so he can use 100% of thier power(more powerful spirits only 80% equal or less powerful 100%). meaning at title douluo this food system spirit master will literaly be invincible. infact thats his later name “eat uncles big invincible sausage title douluo” (joking i dont realy know)

Holy shit that is an awesome ability.
Moreover, it makes him practically a godlike existence for support type spirit masters. He can make sausages for them and if they need they can become power, agility, or control, or whatever.
I mean, she was going to marry him anyway…but with this it basically makes seven tiles school stronger by many times. Truly awesome.

I just realized that oscar can steal other support abilities too, not just combat ones, so I’m imagining him giving a 300% power boost to someone by simultaneously using multiple support abilities.

He doesn’t have to use it himself he can even give it to someone else. He could give his team mates one for each of them that covers their weaknesses. Think of a faster fatty.

He would obtain their spirit abilities but he would not have enough spirit power to use them (the 9th one would surely need the spirit power of at least a level 80 spirit master to be used).

I like his 6th ability, my question now is can he stack abilities or just mimic one at a time? I sure hope he can mimic more than one, so he could mimic an ability(ies [depends]) from both douluo’s in rongrong’s school

Most likely one at a time. Probably also needs blood each time he makes one, so he can stock up on them since they last for a year. Eating one already consumes all his spirit afterwards and it lasts for 3minutes. After which he becomes a liability.

I think it is the MAKING of the sausage that drains him, not partaking of its powers. And I’m pretty sure its only a third of his power that one consumes.

Yes, the making of the sausages currently consumes 1/3 of his spirit power. Then, activating any abilities/power of the copied spirit will consume spirit power equal to the original spirit consumption of the ability/power but only 70% of power output (or 80% if the blood is of the same spirit level as his).

If Tang San didn’t have twin spirits, I think that Oscar would be the most powerful (in a team ofc) followed by Ronron with her capability to become Title douluo. These sausages are bonkers! The possibilities that Mirror Sausage brings are too many to count.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ronron and Oscar end up having a stupidly overpowered support fusion ability that would make a puppy into a tyrannical Three headed dog from hell on steroids doing hulk smashes left and right by simply walking.

I have to disagree even when they were in a team and tang only used his blue silver grass he was more powerful than Oscar and contributed to the team more,and now that his blue silver grass is now blue silver emperor he completey outstrips Oscar in power and usefulness to the team

Tang San only used his blue silver grass and did more than Oscar. You must remember that Oscar’s fast leveling is thanks to Tang San that gave him the immortal treasure which will fasten his cultivation till level seventy. And if I remember correctly the immortal treasure that Oscar and Rongrong took were a pair so a spirit fusion is very possible.

In terms of talent i think you could put Oscar in place 1 or 2 of the Seven Devils since it was stated that cultivation is the most difficult for food system spirit masters.
And of course Oscar cant keep up with Tangs work in the team but without Oscars regenerative abilitys and the support he gave there would still be no winning for the Seven Devils in nearly all fights they had.
And yeah spirit fusion 9 tiled glass sausage tower will be op 😛

I am curious to know what his 5th spirit ring ability is and how the two are gonna decide who gets the spirit bone, i assume neither has the ability to tell what type it is and who it will be more beneficial to.

I feel that Oscar been the good guy that he is will offer it to Hao Te but he will decline it and say that it would be far better for Oscar to take, then there will be some words about how he needs to become stronger so that he can marry Ning Rongrong. That seems like he most logical outcome, of course Hao Te could say it straight up that he wants it, i don’t think Oscar would mind all that much. However this adds another question to the mix, can he copy spirit bones abilities as well as normal ones with his Mirror Sausage? if so then well anyone that denies his affection to Ning Rongrong clearly has mental shortcomings. It’s also goes from one of the stronger abilities shown to the strongest ability in the series so far.

Exactly my thought. Specially since they keep for a year. These freaking sausages can even strategically categorized by spirit to use it simply for the spirit suppression effect. Like the phoenix spirit effect on other bird spirits and other prey. For elemental advantage like in the same case where Fatty suppressed plant spirits with his fire spirit. Its power comes from not only suddenness but its flexibility. Truly OP

I doubt it. don’t forget, that from the start Tang San’s spirit was confirmed as trash, and what makes him so OP is his meticulous ways of using it. and that’s not something that someone else (even Oscar, that was near him for a while and only secont in astution) can master in a short period, without practicing it over some time. guess he’ll gain more copying Mubai, Zhuquing and Fatty’s spirits.

At first, Tang San’s spirit, Blue Silver Grass, was confirmed as trash. However, his Clear Sky Hammer was top tier, as is his current Blue Silver Emperor (which if you remember, replaced the “trash” Blue Silver Grass. From what I understand so far, the way the sausage works is that it gives the person’s abilities – so if used on Tang San, it should allow the use of either spirit’s power.
Now, all this speculation is just based on stuff up to this point, so if you have spoilers or read ahead, please don’t spoil it for me.

I practicaly predicted (in my mind) exactly which hability he would get… well I came up with three theories for his possible course of action to become strong:
1.-Go to slaughter city (obvously impossible after San destroyed it (unless he didn’t)).
2.-Ask San to teach him his Tang sect tecniques (Let’s face it: not THAT powerful and inneficient timewise).
3.-Get this exact Spirit hability (right down to the drop of blood; I love blodd sausages).

I was surprised when my sister told me that anyone was disappointed with Oscar.
Maybe it’s because I have a kind of deep affection for every single one of our Devils that personally, I’m ecstatic to finally read about his offensive ability, and to get a glimpse of his progress.
Cannot wait to see them ALL finally reunite though. That arc has me tingling with anticipation.

So he would have a lot of blood from spirit masters between rank 50-60 with kind of medicore spirits and then he can only pull out 80% of the original owners power… that will not be very usefull at all most enemys at the rank he could fight with this are pretty easy kills for the hidden weapons he already has

Wondering if Oscar will be able to use any of his other support abilities after he takes the silver sausage or has to wait till the effect is over after 3 minutes.
Other thought is if he can give other his silver sausage. Like if him and rongrong are in a pinch. So they both eat silver sausage from agility type spirits. (Yes I know he still has his flying sausage to escape). Or if he can use tang’s blood. Then everyone on the 7 devil’s minus tang eat it silver sausage and whip out the blue silver emporor or hammer. Or what if he makes a silver sausage from Tang’s blood……. The gives it to tang!!!! Plus a pink sausage!!!!!!

I dont think Oscar would be able to use Tang San’s spirit because he has two spirits and has a body that can withstand the burden but i dont think the others could. And if Ao use Tang’s blood he will obtain both spirits and would die in my opinion.

Yeah there is a good possibility that he will ask Tang to come with him to train hidden weapon arts since that is the best way to become strong enough to protect Rongrong from powers that even reach Title Douluo realm.
Also he could get Clear Sky Sausage Hammers of doom later on from him once he starts putting OP rings on his hammer. 🙂
Just imagine it doesnt matter if its only about 80% of the originals power if you have a Title Douluos ability copied and than that abillity is a Clear Sky Hammer with maybe only rings of 50k+ level.

what would happen if oscar say had sword douluo’s abilities. would he be able to unleash all 9 his abilities (obv at 70% since hes stronger) but still if schoolmaster ning gave him a spirit power boost he should be able to actually use the higher level abilities. i think this ability is sooo op.

He can only unleash up to his current level (6th ring) expends 100% of the spirit power requirement but only getting 70% of results.
But with Rongrong as his b***h you can disregard all of the disadvantages lol

yeah what you say bout rongrong and oscar is very true, but rongrong doesnt boost abilities directly, rather stats ao i think the actual strength of th e ability will be quite a bit lower than what you mathed. but your point is still true.

I feel like the true strength of the ability is not copying his opponents ability, but rather storing up lots of abilities so that he can counter his opponent by copying someones abilities that perfectly counter them. I think a perfect counter can make up for 30% less strength.

yeah this ability is really versatile. for example what if he gave rongrong and himself hell civet and evil eyes white tiger, would they be able to do spirit fusion. also yeah the countering should make up for the 20 odd percent disadvantage. really good ability

Reread the chap. Although Snow bear guy has seven spirit rings, after Oscar ate sausage, his rings became gray, but didn’t add seventh ring. So i guess, even if he has Title Douluo’s blood, he will have only his lower six rings copies

After he comes back to the Devils, Ning Rongrong will forever tag along Oscar.
With simple math, you’d know
Oscar’s current replication strength: 80% assuming he’s stronger
multiplied by Rongrong’s amplification strength: 170% (30% at rank 20 increasing per 10 level)
= 136% mirrored power utilization, at rank 90 Rongrong I’d be 160%
Basically they become a power couple relying on each other. Oscar making Rongrong his freakin b**ch man! She basically can’t live without him and *spoiler* Daddy approves baby!

So could he copy either Rongrong or Ning Fenghzi once everyone has a sausage and suddenly they have 2 Pagoda users in the 7 devils. Or simply (if the mirror sausage doesn’t actively use his power when utilizing the abilities within) he could copy either of them, boost his own spirit power and make stronger sausages.

He should be able to copy the spirit abilitys of RongRong but keep in mind it will only be at 80% of the users power if they are on equal level.
If the effect of the Pagoda can stack on top of each other is another thing we will have to wait and see 🙂

It seems to me that the most frightening of this 6th abilities stays in its effectiveness : one year. Each sausage costs one third of his strengh to produce but Oscar can make them in advance and store them.
So it seems this 6th ability has no direct cost in combat. Only the “external” abilities he gains have a cost.
I wonder if he can give those sausages to the other Shrek members. Imagine seven tigers, seven Clear Sky Hammers, or six Rongrong-like boosting one fighter…

Even if they had someone else use Rongrong’s spirit, they couldn’t make very efficient use of it. Even leaving the mirror sausage restrictions aside, they would need to be able to do the 3 aperture heart thing. A bunch of CSH would also not know how to do the disorder splitting wind method. Dai Mubai’s white tiger or Hongjun’s phoenix would probably be the best options.

So I take it now that he should be powerful enough to return to Ning Rongrong? He doesn’t have to be at his peak potential to reunite with her, right? Now he possesses the ability to protect her if required. Plus, if he takes this spirit bone then he’d become more formidable.
Any speculation as to how he developed this trusting relationship with Hao Te?

I think the chapter said that Oscar found him wounded in the forest after he was ambushed. Oscar helped him recover and hide/escape with his sausages. Han Solo/Chewy life debt stuff.

Woot Oscar has really up’ed his game with this new ability of his and has become a lot colder than before,
however in regards to being OP for a food spirit master that seems to be the case however comparing him to Tang San hes still far far behind first off its true that for Oscar its suppose 2 be a lot harder to rank up but hes been ranking up for 5 years to reach the 60th rank compared to the rest of the seven devils thats true that should be top notch but from what i gather within the last 5 years Tang San being able to be at the 59th rank is kinda really impressive since while he was in the slaughter city his advancement during that 2 years was basically non existent well he did manage to move up 1 rank but thats it and then when he was sent to his Aunt he basically barely got to advance during that year or so either so out of the 5 years he mostly only got 2 years of true rank wise cultivation unless im mistaken. + During that five years he has also gain 2 domains something probably none of the others even posses which is said to be the greatest source of power to be able to defeat people with additional spirit rings then theirs the Tang sect secret arts that hes mastering that i personally thing in the end will create his third domain which will also dramatically increase his power then his handling of his hidden weapon far outstrips everyone else plus from what i gather from the time he made those really powerful hidden weapons at Dugu Bo’s place he probably is the only one capable of using them without the risk of harming himself in the process And finally when he gave everyone immortal treasure plants or what not out of all of the seven only himself and Xiao Wu dint get a type that increase their progress speed so his progress compared to the rest of them is kinda far far out of their reach its just that the author seems to make them all stay around the same rank so the author keep making him improve in different area but in the end even if their the same rank he is much much much stronger then the rest and hopefully in the next chapter we will see just how much
