I wonder if Oscars head spirit bone will increase his perception/knowledge like Tang San’s did? given that it’s a mirror beast will he gain a shadow clone like ability? or is it entirely illusion based? perhaps it allows him to create a mirror that can absorb and redirect attacks? can’t wait to see what level Oscar has reached when he next see’s the Seven devils or just one of them.
It won’t necessarily be anything really impressive. Remember that Tang San’s skull bone has double the cultivation level, and he only got that spirit attack out of it because he already had his purple demon eye ability. Otherwise he would have just gotten a bit smarter. It’ll probably just be a small boost like extending the mirror sausage’s effect duration by a minute or something like that.
One can hope for that it can reflect a ranged spirit ability and has a cd of course. Or illusions. Or lower the spirit consumption of his mirror sausage and increase effects and duration.
So, did anyone else notice that Zhao Wuji’s spirit rings got worse? He was originally introduced as having 2 yellow, 2 purple and 3 black. Now he has 3 purple. If his 8th spirit ring was a thousand year ring, that’s pretty awful.
Yea but remember that some spirit beast could be useful as a tool instead of power. Zhao Wuji probably attended the Grandmaster for some questions about those spirit beast whichever is useful or not.
That would be really inconsistent with everything up to this point. Grandmaster was all about calculating the exact limit of what someone could absorb and aiming for a spirit ring as close to it a s possible. There’s also been enormous emphasis on the level of spirit rings determining power throughout the series. I think this is just another slip by the author, like how Tang Hao’s ninth spirit ring changed from a black one just past the 90K year level to the 100K one from Tang San’s mom.

The sad thing is that the manga actually started off really good. Then they had the modified to be nonlethal crossbows bs, and it was all downhill from there. It actually reached the point where I quit reading which is really rare for me.
haha I was thinking of quitting when the fatty’s evil desire was changed to huge appetite. Then I really quit reading when in the manga, Tang san got the eight spider lances and he behaved like a hole to xiao wu to control the lances.
At first I though the 5 freaks gonna lose or at best struggle through 3 incenses time then the wild Oscar will sudden appear and use his sausages to turn the tide.
Now I see I was an idiot, Tousand Hands Asura need no sausage to kick a one or two Spirit Doulous.

I’m REEEALLY hoping that Oscar shows up somewhere during the fight. Hiding just outside the ring waiting for just the right moment then jumps in, astounds everyone with his new power, wins the fight for Shrek’s Devils, then of course proposes to the dumbstruck Rong Rong. In the most childish way possible, it would be awesome.
Going back to Oscar’s 6th ability, the blood donor does not necessarily need to activate his abilities for Oscar to copy it. This is evident in what he did; and that was collecting the blood of the fallen spirit masters.
hi.. i read manhwa.. it stopped somewhere..i think i should not say(as it spoils suspence for readers here).. what i wanted to point is.. there are no chapters in manhwa regarding fight with clear sky seventh elder .. and also that crossing rope way.. (though there is a fight with some one at the entrance).. and also no meeting with shreks seven devils..
The manhwa crippled the story everywhere major parts are just being tossed away and the story is rewritten to fit even kid readers and certain powers are just made up anew without making proper sense but thats how the manhwa is.
In my eyes the manhwa is a great example on how to reduce an supreme story into an maybe just average one.
Reread the Xianxia from the beginning. I too have found my path here through manhua and was surprised with diferences in storylines and found LN way better.

The mirror scales of the spirit beast allow it to blend in with its surroundings, so maybe the ability will involve invisibility?
