the first game, so it’s called a game now, i thought it was a devise of trolling still don’t think i am wrong. I would love to see the argument on why people do such a useless thing as call first in a comment section used to do things like thank people and talk about subjects, saying first is utterly pointless as it does nothing useful and for some reason annoys people to the point that they get upset and make the comment section a horrible place. Guaranteed you have seen those comment sections where people are only arguing and fighting the person who called first for wasting space or other odd reasons. I prefer to see the civil comment sections where the trolls are all stone and never show up which stops ragers from showing up and makes everything a calmer community, only takes one first comment to ruin a whole websites comment section as it then becomes a war of who can be biggest troll and be the first. I don’t see it as unreasonable to say not do such a thing and keep things civil
well, its actually a type of showing appreciation. Saying FIRST is like proof that you appreciate something so much that you actually spent time waiting for it to see it first..
They are spiritually husband and wife… though he’s too chicken to sleep with her (for crying out loud, they went too far anyways and already even had their wedding ceremony.. all he’s really doing is hurting her).
While some places of Chinese culture isn’t really against it, Chinese law does not support cousin marriage…. even then, they are already too close so there is no point in pretending otherwise…
Thank you Bagelson.
This chapter puts in perspective that Heaven Dou empire has internal struggles as well. I get the feeling that the 1st prince of heaven dou is collaborating with spirit hall, and the same with Mubai’s older brother in star lou; they help each of them become the rulers, and from there they allow spirit hall to rule the continent; it would get around the issue they had with it that Mubai mentioned, and also provide a way to have Mubai’s brother be a prominent enemy.
Would so want to spoil this to you.
During the summer when bagelson paused the translation for a bit I started to read the chinese RAWs through google translate, saw that google translation for chinese sucks and now I’m studing mandarin in university.
I’m looking forward to tang san using his blue spirit spear to get some painful justice on the pontiff for being such a power hungry meanie… that said we’ve yet to hear her side of the story
Bagel sempai it feels as though you hold my family jewels in your clutches as hostage as i sit on pins and needles awaiting another chapter :3 this chap was definitely worth the wait though (>^ – ^<)
HAH! pathetic! well… kinda… sorta… maybe a bit.
AHH! I really just can’t wait for Tang San to get there and calm Grandmaster down and maybe tear those weak-willed “spirit masters” masquerading as strong people down from where they stand.
Ditto.
There are a dozen ways and more that Tang San could shut the wimps up, and not even half of them would require much spirit power on his part.
But honestly?
I just want Tang San to come strolling into the gravity field on 8 spider lances, look down at the whiner who quit first, and say “Following his teachings made me this strong. This academy isn’t to raise students, it’s to create monsters. If you can’t deal with that, then leave.”
that is so a thing that I want to read
or maybe showing them an example by running there for “a while”(a day at least)
Grandmaster showing example would be cool too
😬 thank you so much for the update!! I just loooove this story so much. Just a newbie to xianxia and happen to read the manhwa- wanted more and found your site and the novel is soooooooo much more- everything. I thank you. 🙏🏾 (bows head).
It’S like Star Wars and Harry Potter had a baby. But more epic.
Right!?! 🙂 This would make a fantastic movie!! Although… I could only imagine how the story could be butchered a la
“The last Airbender” <– was already freaking awesome and then kaboom – movie was such a disappointment. So sad.
Unless another miracle like good ol’ Bagelson Shuo Shi comes along…. but nah… the day that happens is the day it rains chocolate…. and i’m so glad right now that i’ve never seen the movie xD
@Td.T yes and yes.. Visually the movie was fantastic. — it’s what the director did to the characters (changing names/ ethnicity etc) that turned it into blehck.
hey wouldnt it be so awesome if little san duels the soldier who talked about THE GRANDMASTER, and when is Oscar coming back. Because i just had a thought with the ability of his 6th ring its like he has twin spirits, so what if he uses Tang’s blood would that mean he can use 3 spirits. Also thank you bagelson!
The contrast twixt Tang San’s treatment of Xaio Bunny and his opponents only makes him seem like more of a boss, and never a wimp… It’ll never get old. (Watching Supreme Pontiff Baby Dingdong get her butt handed to her will feel sooooooo good.)
I’m getting confused about the iimperial family. Can somebody help to clarify, if this is correct:
So, the current emperor is Xue Ye?
And then the sons of the emperor : Xue Qing He (first son), second and third son dead, Xue Beng (fourth son). So what is the name of the young prince that was under the tutelage of NIng Feng Zhi again? And what about that young princess that took a liking to Tang San?
Alright, after rereading some chapters, I think Xue Xing is a brother of the emperor, Xue Ye.
However, what threw me off was that all along I had thought Xue Qing He and Xue Beng as quite young. After all, Xue Beng was still studying in the Heaven Dou Academy, and Qing He was still under tutelage, even asked Tang San to call him “big brother.”
But suddenly in this chapter, Xue Beng is 30 years, which means Qing He is at least 37. All this seems strange.
Yeah, you are right. When Xue Qing He was first introduced to Tang San by Ning, I remember that he was 19 years old, and tang san only 5 or 6 years younger. If Xue Qing really is the older brother and Xue Ben is already 30, then is that an authors mistake?
It just means that when the seven devils met Xue Beng, he was around 24-25, perfectly reasonable age to be at an advanced Spirit Master academy that usually only admits people around the age of 18-20. Also, while Xue Beng looks “thirty or so”, he might still be a couple of years younger.
As for Ning Fengzhi’s position as Qinghe’s tutor, that’s something of a lifelong appointment as advisor than literally being a teacher.
I’m betting on Tang San doing whatever “inhumane” training this guys complaining about. Likely with ease.
I wonder if Tang San will stay with GM to train, or go somewhere safer where there aren’t any people. I think he’ll probably stay, but then I’m not sure how the author will justify the Spirit Hall not finding and attacking him.
Could the crown prince be another world traveler? Or is he just a genius poisoner? Or is he being framed by someone else in the imperial family?
Thanks a lot!
Ah, he reunited with dugu bo! Yes! And he finds out about what has happened! That horrible person! Tang san, quick come over and helping grandmaster—!
so recap of today’s chapter:
meatbun got a horse meat, was shown a snake repellent, treated to tea, oh and saw a lazy small-fry
Thank you for the chapter 🙂
Is it really that much of a problem to step aside and not cause any problems? And besides shouldn’t Tang San be more careful and not attract attention…
But damn Tang San! Displaying both his spirits at the same time!! And Dugu Bo had nice reaction to that neidan xD
I want more. The ending of the chapter felt like this was too short. T^T
Crazy theory here: what if the prince got the poison from his master Feng Zhi who had got it from poison from Tang Sans hidden weapons (unless none of them were poisoned then nvm) Because old freak says it was a mix poison that he probably couldn’t have recognized before he learned a little from Tang san.
Thanks fo the chapter~
Interesting plot twist incoming, as well as droves of shocked spirit masters!
That last sentence just begs for Tang San to show off in front of them! 😀
So im supposed to believe some twelve year old has more intelligence and wisdom than tang San? The reincarnated man with all his memory. That had an unreasonable amount of knowledge in poison and plants more so than the poison title douluo himself. Then created all those incredible gadgets?
