Teleportation in itself is not a burden on him with only 1% expenditure per jump. Now how many jumps he makes is a different story all together. I don’t think we’ll see any other abilities beyond one or both domains appearing. But I’ve got this strong mental image of Goku vs Freiza in my head, with the sound effects lol, from reading this chapter. The whole appearing and disappearing instantaneously thing going on as they battle.

I think its a little cruel for the proud poor clan to be tricked like this, even if its for their own good. Especially the start when he try to buy it, make my hearth ashe Hope when they come in the tang clan, they will kick ass and never ever going to poverty or have a sentiment to be useless ever again.
The Title Douluo being allowed to use his spirit abilities against a 21 year old seems a bit imbalanced. I’m surprised he didn’t declare some kind of handicap. I’m not sure how Tang San will be able to get out of this one without revealing his 100,000 ring unless he heavily injures his opponent through some other means.
Correction…Spirit douluo…eighty something rank not ninety something. But I agree that it’s really amazing he can cope. It would have been more advantageous for him to use a wider area. The room limits the advantage of teleost ion in my opinion.
Not really. He can only teleport up to 10 meters away. So a bigger room would actually be an advantage to speed clan. Wide spaces aids straight line speed.
Wonderful presentation. Thank you so much. Tang San is really powerful. Being able to combine domain, silver emperor and that almighty hammer with teleportation. Add to that vast knowledge, eye techniques, the mastery of poisons and chi techniques…he’s like superman, batman, thor, the flash plus sasuke all in one.
Would like him to start getting spirit rings for the C.S. hammer soon.
I think if we see any new abilities it would be in his eyes, if they reached the next stage that would be really cool, even though I don’t quite remember what the 4th stage does.
Nobody knows, because the last time someone was able to reach that stage was so long ago, that only rumors about a mysterious 4th stage exist. But yeah, it would be pretty cool!
I think it will be a contest of endurance for Tang San. He can effectively teleport 100ish times before exhausting his spirit force, assuming he didn’t really use any during the previous contest. Other then maybe releasing his domains, I really don’t think he will reveal anything else. He has been way too careful with the secret of his 100k spirit ring to release his spirit.
I think things that go in the purse go into some sort of suspended animation in order to keep living things, cause if not, then all those immortal treasures would die

I wouldnt want that for two reasons. One: bagels is a fantastic translator and the fact that he’s do I g the translation and editing himself is awesome. Two: changing TL’s can fuck up the story and names of characters big time. Just read law of the devil and you’ll see what i mean. The LN has done through about 6 different TL’S and the characters names changed about 12 times except for MC.
Maybe you all just forgot, or you just cant appreciate what bagelson has been doing, but its only been a year and there are already 175 chapters already! The first post was also in december if you hadnt forgotten! I think the main issue readers are having is expectations. The reason we keep coming back to this blog is b/c we want to read more. We all know he does this for free because of his passion, but it also had a side effect of creating a need in us, which wants to see how the story progresses.
Im truly happy and honored that bagelson created this blog and translated this story, but would love to maybe take this to level that wuxiaworld has done with their light novels. Id be happy to donate for translators to to work on this fine story as well.
I’ve nothing but respect for bagelson and truly want him to enjoy his christmas holidays/new years break, but i would also like to see this light novel continue at a rate similar to those at wuxiaworld.
You’re not taking into account chapter length, a chapter of Douluo Dalu is three times as long as a chapter of something like ATG, so he is translating essentially three chapters a week which is basically the same as a lot of the ones on wuxiaworld and the number of regular chapters on others. He does great translations and only ever promised one a week but his average is above 2. Basically a daily wuxiaworld chapter for the last year. So people need to stop complaining as we are getting a lot of material.
