I honestly expected him to stop her and maybe give it to her after dealing with the breaking clan but not before. I mean Bai He gave it to him in order to help him convince Yang Wudi to join the Tang sect but now its gone.

I thought the breaking clan might be on the spirit hall’s side. My suspicion was on the slow acting mixed poison given to the Heaven Dou’s royalty, it just feels like the first prince got that poison from the spirit hall to give to his brother (or was it the father?).
My suspicion about the Mixed Poison is the same one as yours.
And it should be Father, if I’m remembering it correctly.
But, while not being on the Spirit Hall’s side they and The Prince can still do the business.
As I recall the prince is not on spirit hall’s side. So, they can still do business.
And they might not even know who the princess using that poison on or it might just not just bother Breaking Clan.
With Spirit Hall causing direct harm to the Breaking Clan 20 years ago I would have highly doubted any such direction. Especially with the knowledge of the of the clan head being stubborn.

Please, Lelouch Vi Brittania would already have destroyed Spirit Hall and just be busy creating a utopia haha. I like this story since the main character is kind of overpowered, but its in a way that he still has to realistically struggle.

I hate it when the author tries to explain things about skills & spirits & why this or that is stronger. He spends too much on it when he obviously doesnt need to. I reckon Tang San will challenge him to a poison battle, giving him chance to give Tang San a poison which will be instantly nullified by the 2 immortal plants TD ate at Du Gu Bo’s garden
That would just be a repeat of what he did with Dugu Bo, so I feel like it’ll be something a little different. The breaking clan leader’s only interest is researching medicines/poisons, so Tang San should be aiming to show off not just a resistance to poison, but his knowledge about it, in order to win him over.
