Considering the cyan wolftaken specialized in speed and evasion, it seems like a perfect fit for Bai. She also really needs a boost if in order to not be a burden throughout their training. They’ll probably have Ma Hongjun give it to her as a way to win her over.
It’s a good idea, but it seems Mubai is the only Devil who doesn’t have a spirit bone (Xiao Wu doesn’t count). But that spirit bone must suit him to make sense.
Isn’t it weird that Mubai who is next heir to the empire’s throne can’t get a hand on spirit bones? Sure, star luo empire isn’t as rich as spirit hall, but still a spirit bone or two shouldn’t be out of reach.
The Star Luo Empire does not assists it’s heirs until they prove they have the strength to succeed the throne. It is how they ensure a monarch who is strong in mind body and soul. Boss Dai talks to Tang San a little about it after they defeat the Star Luo Empire team and their older siblings.
I’m pretty sure the spirit bone will go to Mubai. For one, it’s from a similar class of spirit beasts: wolves and tigers are both predators, focused on attack strength. Plus, as a main attacker, if the spirit bone gives a speed and agility boost, it will be useful to him. More importantly though, I’m thinking that the Wolftaken boss’s Bloodlust ability was unique to him. Otherwise, the other two would likely have gone into bloodlust the moment they were trapped in the Blue Silver Prison. If the ability was unique to the leader, then it may have had to do with this spirit bone. If the spirit bone could give Mubai a frenzy ability, that could be immensely useful.
Thanks for the chapters, its been a long time coming. IMO I feel dai mubai should be more powerful than this, maybe its because the novel focuses on tang San but I think for a 64/65 ranked power attack spirit master, his feats are quite poor. I know I’m not the author but..its just a little bit…….. Maybe I should just write my own fan fiction to satisfy my imagination
Well, they did say he was in the best condition after that fight, and he didn’t use his sixth spirit ability, so he was still holding back. Also, it’s quite possible he has a spirit bone by now since he became the crown prince. I’m sure he’ll have his moment.

So, I’m a guy, but I can’t help finding this author really sexist. He’s said a lot about Fatty’s supposedly sincere feelings, but the whole time he’s been treating Bai like a piece of meat. The only reason Fatty likes her is because she’s hot. He doesn’t know anything about her, let alone care about her feelings. And now they have her getting scared by a mouse – just about the most sexist cliche ever – and starting to fall for Fatty because of it. I am not rooting for Fatty’s romance at all, even though I know it’s inevitable.
Well, actually you can say the same about Bai: the only reason she doesn’t like him is because he’s fat and ugly. She doesn’t know anything about him, let alone about his feelings. And now that she gets scared, she immediately runs into his arms, while just a while ago she told him not to touch her. But yeah the scared by a mouse part was pretty cliché.
She knows that he went behind her back to her grandfather, she can clearly see that he goes for her mostly because of her looks (the scene where he licked his lips form looking at her and made her thing that he was going to rape her was purly his foult) and despite being a spirit master that doesn’t have to eat much and can lose weight quickly he is fat witch tells us that he is lazy. Also ever since he met her he has been doing what Tang san told him and went to him for help insted of doing things himslef (we know that this is a smart decision but for her point of view it may not look so nice)
Of course she hasent been perfect but lets be honest fatty is alone for a reason, but I think that if he works on it she will open up to him since he does have good qualities its just that he shows off the bad ones most of the time

Because he is lazy and undisciplined. He didnt even reach level 60 because of this and was scolded by bouth Tang San and Grandmaster. His only response to that was silance, a joke or that he was constantly being distracted by the life in the big city. Being easy going is a huge part of fattys personality but guess what he goes to far with it.

Sorry asshole but I am someone who went form 130 to 94 kilograms so I know more about this then a pile of shit like you ever will. The best part is that it took me over 3 years to do this because my body very easily absorbs fat and calories while losing them at a lower rate then others which means that despite doing more work then most people who are “in shape” in the last year of training and dieting I had at most normal results. I had to start by doing static exercises just so that my body would be able to endure the amount of training it would take for me to be at a minus intake of calories even when using only diets that were given to me by a doctor that I had to visit at least once a week. There are pople who have worked even harder to do this because there where other things hindering them like gentic problems (which could aplly to Ma Hongjun but guess who got cured by his third brother years ago)

I have the feeling that this argument has generally gotten pretty heated… (although some are calmer than others). Maybe everybody could calm down? And especially stop using certain adjectives – and nouns.
True, Bai Chenxiang never liked the idea of being with Fatty. Even before he behaved lewdly in front of her. But I think some of his behaviour is a pretty good reason for not changing her opinion on him. If he had behaved as gentlemanly as he claimed he were, then she would have a reason to change her opinion.
As for the weight part: yes, there are a multitude of reasons for being overweight. Some can be easily corrected, some can’t. And by the way, unless Fatty is seriously small, 100kg isn’t even that much for an adult man. Especially a trained one. There is a reason why the weight of athletes can’t be judged by normal standards. Muscles are heavy. So yes, Fatty is overweight, but it shouldn’t be as bad as it is sometimes made out to be.

Wow, I was really not expecting to kick off this kind of hostile discussion with my initial comment. Some things I do want to say, though – Fatty needing to eat excessively was in the manga. In the light novel he needed to have sex, and yes that was cured. While the exact reason for him being fat has never been stated, it’s generally been implied that he has no motivation to try to change that. Especially since it was stated that he got much fatter during the 2 years he was slacking off and fell behind in cultivation, to that point that he was described as being completely round. So, while I don’t think it’s necessarily reasonable to expect him to ever have a physique comparable to the others, he certainly could be doing better.
Also, whatever flaws Bai has do not excuse Fatty’s behavior. That’s called victim blaming. And really, Bai along with most other girls in this story being angry, violent, but ridiculously hot, total b*tches is just another example of an over the top sexist stereotype in this story.
From how I understood the scene, she was scared and didn’t even look where she was running. And ran into Fatty purely by accident.
And I also think that his behaviour towards her so far didn’t exactly give her a reason to like him. I’d be pissed as well, if a guy I didn’t want to marry went to my grandfather (or whoever was responsible for me) to ask for my hand in marriage. Without asking my opinion.

Nope. He had not been in the spirit arena more than a single time and it was against the Tai brothers. He is nicknamed asura because as Dai Mubai said, even though he looks normal if Xiao Wu is in danger he really flips out. The thousand hands is absolutely from the time he fought wuji to get into shrek. It is derived from his hidden weapon lethality, as he seems to have one thousand hands when using them. The asura is Boss dais addition.
He fought in the Spirit Arena an entire month… as did all the other Shrek Seven Devils. And I personally think that the Thousand Hands Asura refers to his Spirit (blue Silver grass) as well as his hidden weapons. After all, the name was given to him for the fights in the spirit arena. True, the Asura part was given to him by Dai Mubai and likely refers to how ferocious he can become, but the Thousand Hands part was given to him by Grandmaster. And since all the names refer to the spirits, it is likely that his does as well.
I bet Zhu Zhu Qing will get the spirit bone, since she is a speed combat spirit master, and she’s one of the seven, and dai participated in the fight, so an increase for her would improve their fusion and benefit him. It wouldn’t make sense for Bai, a weak, unproven, scout type master to get a spirit bone, of which she did nothing to earn.
I think they’ll go with whomever the Spirit Bone is most appropriate for; maybe it was a defensive spirit bone considering how the Large Wolftaken were able to dodge multiple strikes from the trio. In that regard, it may really be the most suited for Bai instead of Zhu.
If I’m not mistaken, she has a same-slot spirit bone already. I know she has a lg bone, I’m just not sure which leg and really cba to go check (remember she got the third tournament bone, together with Hongjun and San, while he gave his to Rongrong).
Luck ? Are you sure ? It’s wrote that “The Cyan Wolftaken attacking Tang San was the most tyrannical amongst them, and was also the largest; its spirit power was also no less than Tang San’s.”.
With Tang San’s power, this sentence means that this Wolftaken is equivalent to a several ten thousand year Spirit Beast (more than 30 000 year).
You should remember the older is the beast, the higher is the chance for a spirit bone to appear.
The two others Cyan Wolftaken had power equivalent to Dai Mubai when he was in the fifties ranks. That’s high too.
There were about 300 others Wolftaken. Even if those were weak, with such a high number of beasts, the probability for one spirit bone to appear was really high.
So I don’t consider it a luck. It’s more a reward.
Plus the chances of a spirit bone showing up go way up when the spirit beast harbors a huge resentment to its sole killer. Tang San clearly was the lunch pin that dealt with the other two cyan Wolftaken and he alone used his one thousand and one nights to kill the lead Wolftaken who had just invoked what it thought was its biggest surefire trump-Bloodlust. So if in the milliseconds before one thousand and o e nights turned to lonely death, i’d say the lead cyan Wolftaken harbored some major resentment towards Tang San alone, thus greatly increasing the chances for a spirit bone.
They just killed several hundred spirit beast-like creatures. It had been explicitly stated in a much earlier chapter, when spirit bones were first introduced, that Spirit Hall had forbidden the ‘poaching’ of spirit beasts to keep populations in line. If that weren’t the case, there’d be a lot of ill-reputed spirit masters going around ‘farming’ spirit bones. Obviously, they couldn’t shirk on the slaughter here, so they reapt the corresponding rewards. If you kill enough mobs even the rarest items will certainly start dropping. So, in my mind this isn’t a case of extraordinary luck. If the Wolftaken are more akin to spirit masters in how they obtain spirit bones, it becomes even less a matter of luck, since powerful spirit masters, especially those with a lot of backing, are more likely to have at least one spirit bone. In that case, the Wolftaken leader could be compared to, say, Shi Nian (the Brutal Dream spirit sage Tang San killed with Yama’s Invitation).
If you want cases of luck, I’d mention how Tang San got an external spirit bone (twice, technically; the Spider Lances just cannibalized the second one), or how Oscar’s Mirror Image Beast came packed with a skull bone.

How come he can activate both in the same time? I thought Deathgod domain was linked to the Clear Sky Hammer and he was using his Blue Silver Emperor spirit at the time…

He can use both because as it explained earlier domains are not limited to just the spirit. They can be activated without activating the spirit. They are “innate” even though the death God domain wad acquired. It’s still considered “innate”.
He can use both at the same time but the effect is weaker if he is not using the spirit that the domain is inscribed into. I think that this was mentioned during his fight with Xue Qinghe where he switches to his hamer and increases the death god domains power to push away the angelick domain a bit more.
the thing is they don’t really have a fixed schedule, some weeks we don’t have chapter and another we have Jackpot (One time they released six chapter on one week end (halloween I think).

I’ve considered doing the same thing. With Bagelson quitting translating and Owl404 M.I.A the team has gone down to just Piggybottle and a new editor, strider I believe. But it seems only a matter of time before Piggybottle burnsout off its just him translating. Sucks, I wish I knew Chinese, this novel is remarkable.
I honestly don’t know where people keep seeing Bagel saying he is going to stop translating this novel he translated 203 which Owl claimed nearly a month ago and never got to he also translated 202. Don’t forget Bagel is a student as well so I wouldn’t be surprised if hes been busy with finals/midterms. If anything he has just been looking for people to help him with this novel so you would get consistent releases of at least one to two chapters a week and they have only been doing it for a few months which has been great. However google drive has been totally dead for the past few weeks making it hard to get any translating done for all of the translators in addition to owl going missing again.

Based on the strength shown, Tang San should have no problem killing all 300 wolftaken by himself, just using physical attacks (spider lances) and by absorbing their vitality he would never tire.
His absorption ability should make him kinda invincible against innumerable weak mobs.
And against someone his own level he needed to use a trump card, while he had the overloard spear or even his hammer ? Wasnt him fighting someone way stronger than him (transex prince lol) not so many chapter`s ago ?
Tang San couldn’t have killed 300 even if he had died. With his strength, he could win against a spirit master 10 ranks higher than him easily, PROVIDED they do not restrict his spirit, ASSUMING they have physical strength of that of a normal human. Wolftaken were significantly stronger PHYSICALLY than a normal human. Besides they were ferocious.
Coming to the 2nd part, the strength of that cyan wolf could be estimated by:

He used his trump card in order to help Mubai and Fatty who were being overwhelmed.
I think Boss Dai was okay. He had yet to release past the 4th spirit ring, but Fatty was in a dire situation, since he got so injured in the sneak attack, and the opponent was much faster than him, he was at a major disadvantage. Had Tang San not acted when and how he did, even though Fatty has tremendous power it wouldn’t have meant shit since he couldn’t hit the cyan Wolftaken attacking him. Which is another reason Tang San used a trumpcard

Honestly I’m glad I wasn’t correct, I’ve been with Bagelson since chapter 22 it has been a long strange journey with this wonderful Douluo Dalu world, but all the same I would say what I have said again because until our good Scholarly Sir David pointed to Bagelson being active on Reddit, I assumed he fell off the face of the planet and thus would be quitting his translations.

If anyone wants to read something whilst waiting for a new DLDL release you could try Tower Of God by SIU, its a korean webtoon thats really good that also has a gifted but clueless MC similar to Tang San in that they both come from different worlds & are amazing when they get thrown into their new lives. Its coloured & comes out weekly. I would also like to point out to people to stop bitching & whining about when we’re all gonna get a new chapter, fuck! Chill the fuck down! People have lives & the translators aren’t your property so go play some xbox or something. Considering the cyan wolftaken specialized in speed and evasion, it seems like a perfect fit for Bai. She also really needs a boost if in order to not be a burden throughout their training. They’ll probably have Ma Hongjun give it to her as a way to win her over.

It’s a good idea, but it seems Mubai is the only Devil who doesn’t have a spirit bone (Xiao Wu doesn’t count). But that spirit bone must suit him to make sense.

Isn’t it weird that Mubai who is next heir to the empire’s throne can’t get a hand on spirit bones? Sure, star luo empire isn’t as rich as spirit hall, but still a spirit bone or two shouldn’t be out of reach.

The Star Luo Empire does not assists it’s heirs until they prove they have the strength to succeed the throne. It is how they ensure a monarch who is strong in mind body and soul. Boss Dai talks to Tang San a little about it after they defeat the Star Luo Empire team and their older siblings.

I’m pretty sure the spirit bone will go to Mubai. For one, it’s from a similar class of spirit beasts: wolves and tigers are both predators, focused on attack strength. Plus, as a main attacker, if the spirit bone gives a speed and agility boost, it will be useful to him. More importantly though, I’m thinking that the Wolftaken boss’s Bloodlust ability was unique to him. Otherwise, the other two would likely have gone into bloodlust the moment they were trapped in the Blue Silver Prison. If the ability was unique to the leader, then it may have had to do with this spirit bone. If the spirit bone could give Mubai a frenzy ability, that could be immensely useful.

IMO I feel dai mubai should be more powerful than this, maybe its because the novel focuses on tang San but I think for a 64/65 ranked power attack spirit master, his feats are quite poor. I know I’m not the author but..its just a little bit…….. Maybe I should just write my own fan fiction to satisfy my imagination

Well, they did say he was in the best condition after that fight, and he didn’t use his sixth spirit ability, so he was still holding back. Also, it’s quite possible he has a spirit bone by now since he became the crown prince. I’m sure he’ll have his moment.

So, I’m a guy, but I can’t help finding this author really sexist. He’s said a lot about Fatty’s supposedly sincere feelings, but the whole time he’s been treating Bai like a piece of meat. The only reason Fatty likes her is because she’s hot. He doesn’t know anything about her, let alone care about her feelings. And now they have her getting scared by a mouse – just about the most sexist cliche ever – and starting to fall for Fatty because of it. I am not rooting for Fatty’s romance at all, even though I know it’s inevitable.

Well, actually you can say the same about Bai: the only reason she doesn’t like him is because he’s fat and ugly. She doesn’t know anything about him, let alone about his feelings. And now that she gets scared, she immediately runs into his arms, while just a while ago she told him not to touch her. But yeah the scared by a mouse part was pretty cliché.

She knows that he went behind her back to her grandfather, she can clearly see that he goes for her mostly because of her looks (the scene where he licked his lips form looking at her and made her thing that he was going to rape her was purly his foult) and despite being a spirit master that doesn’t have to eat much and can lose weight quickly he is fat witch tells us that he is lazy. Also ever since he met her he has been doing what Tang san told him and went to him for help insted of doing things himslef (we know that this is a smart decision but for her point of view it may not look so nice)
Of course she hasent been perfect but lets be honest fatty is alone for a reason, but I think that if he works on it she will open up to him since he does have good qualities its just that he shows off the bad ones most of the time

3 It was said that it was his spirits fault but guess what mister I read every chapter except for the one where Tang San gives him a Immortal Treasure Herb that purifies his spirit thus making its bad side effects disappear. Oh and lets not forget that when Tang San (the guy who knows more about Ma Hongjun and his problems than us) tells that he really needs to lose some weight and all that Fatty has to say is “Er…lose weight, I’m afraid it’s too difficult.” Why is it difficult? Because he is lazy and undisciplined. He didnt even reach level 60 because of this and was scolded by bouth Tang San and Grandmaster. His only response to that was silance, a joke or that he was constantly being distracted by the life in the big city. Being easy going is a huge part of fattys personality but guess what he goes to far with it.

The best part is that it took me over 3 years to do this because my body very easily absorbs fat and calories while losing them at a lower rate then others which means that despite doing more work then most people who are “in shape” in the last year of training and dieting I had at most normal results. I had to start by doing static exercises just so that my body would be able to endure the amount of training it would take for me to be at a minus intake of calories even when using only diets that were given to me by a doctor that I had to visit at least once a week. There are pople who have worked even harder to do this because there where other things hindering them like gentic problems (which could aplly to Ma Hongjun but guess who got cured by his third brother years ago)

Your also forgetting a lot of other factors, psychological plays a large factor, even medication can directly alter size. And to your “plant cured him but he is still a perc by nature”. His “evil fire” made him like that and yes the fire was cured but after years of repeated effects it would psychologically alter his mind. If you constantly take aphrodisiacs and have sex, even if you stop there is still lasting effects to the mind. Even tang San said spirit sage healers couldn’t effect things like this

I have the feeling that this argument has generally gotten pretty heated… (although some are calmer than others). Maybe everybody could calm down? And especially stop using certain adjectives – and nouns.
True, Bai Chenxiang never liked the idea of being with Fatty. Even before he behaved lewdly in front of her. But I think some of his behaviour is a pretty good reason for not changing her opinion on him. If he had behaved as gentlemanly as he claimed he were, then she would have a reason to change her opinion.
As for the weight part: yes, there are a multitude of reasons for being overweight. Some can be easily corrected, some can’t. And by the way, unless Fatty is seriously small, 100kg isn’t even that much for an adult man. Especially a trained one. There is a reason why the weight of athletes can’t be judged by normal standards. Muscles are heavy. So yes, Fatty is overweight, but it shouldn’t be as bad as it is sometimes made out to be.
Hmm… I have the feeling, I went somewhat off topic here… if I did, I apologize.

Wow, I was really not expecting to kick off this kind of hostile discussion with my initial comment. Some things I do want to say, though – Fatty needing to eat excessively was in the manga. In the light novel he needed to have sex, and yes that was cured. While the exact reason for him being fat has never been stated, it’s generally been implied that he has no motivation to try to change that. Especially since it was stated that he got much fatter during the 2 years he was slacking off and fell behind in cultivation, to that point that he was described as being completely round. So, while I don’t think it’s necessarily reasonable to expect him to ever have a physique comparable to the others, he certainly could be doing better.
Also, whatever flaws Bai has do not excuse Fatty’s behavior. That’s called victim blaming. And really, Bai along with most other girls in this story being angry, violent, but ridiculously hot, total b*tches is just another example of an over the top sexist stereotype in this story.

From how I understood the scene, she was scared and didn’t even look where she was running. And ran into Fatty purely by accident.
And I also think that his behaviour towards her so far didn’t exactly give her a reason to like him. I’d be pissed as well, if a guy I didn’t want to marry went to my grandfather (or whoever was responsible for me) to ask for my hand in marriage. Without asking my opinion.
And I agree with everybody who is annoyed by the ‘scared of a mouse’ cliché.

Nope. He had not been in the spirit arena more than a single time and it was against the Tai brothers. He is nicknamed asura because as Dai Mubai said, even though he looks normal if Xiao Wu is in danger he really flips out. The thousand hands is absolutely from the time he fought wuji to get into shrek. It is derived from his hidden weapon lethality, as he seems to have one thousand hands when using them. The asura is Boss dais addition.

He fought in the Spirit Arena an entire month… as did all the other Shrek Seven Devils. And I personally think that the Thousand Hands Asura refers to his Spirit (blue Silver grass) as well as his hidden weapons. After all, the name was given to him for the fights in the spirit arena. True, the Asura part was given to him by Dai Mubai and likely refers to how ferocious he can become, but the Thousand Hands part was given to him by Grandmaster. And since all the names refer to the spirits, it is likely that his does as well.

I bet Zhu Zhu Qing will get the spirit bone, since she is a speed combat spirit master, and she’s one of the seven, and dai participated in the fight, so an increase for her would improve their fusion and benefit him. It wouldn’t make sense for Bai, a weak, unproven, scout type master to get a spirit bone, of which she did nothing to earn.

I think they’ll go with whomever the Spirit Bone is most appropriate for; maybe it was a defensive spirit bone considering how the Large Wolftaken were able to dodge multiple strikes from the trio. In that regard, it may really be the most suited for Bai instead of Zhu.

Luck ? Are you sure ? It’s wrote that “The Cyan Wolftaken attacking Tang San was the most tyrannical amongst them, and was also the largest; its spirit power was also no less than Tang San’s.”.
With Tang San’s power, this sentence means that this Wolftaken is equivalent to a several ten thousand year Spirit Beast (more than 30 000 year).
You should remember the older is the beast, the higher is the chance for a spirit bone to appear.
The two others Cyan Wolftaken had power equivalent to Dai Mubai when he was in the fifties ranks. That’s high too.
There were about 300 others Wolftaken. Even if those were weak, with such a high number of beasts, the probability for one spirit bone to appear was really high.
So I don’t consider it a luck. It’s more a reward.

Plus the chances of a spirit bone showing up go way up when the spirit beast harbors a huge resentment to its sole killer. Tang San clearly was the lunch pin that dealt with the other two cyan Wolftaken and he alone used his one thousand and one nights to kill the lead Wolftaken who had just invoked what it thought was its biggest surefire trump-Bloodlust. So if in the milliseconds before one thousand and o e nights turned to lonely death, i’d say the lead cyan Wolftaken harbored some major resentment towards Tang San alone, thus greatly increasing the chances for a spirit bone.

They just killed several hundred spirit beast-like creatures. It had been explicitly stated in a much earlier chapter, when spirit bones were first introduced, that Spirit Hall had forbidden the ‘poaching’ of spirit beasts to keep populations in line. If that weren’t the case, there’d be a lot of ill-reputed spirit masters going around ‘farming’ spirit bones. Obviously, they couldn’t shirk on the slaughter here, so they reapt the corresponding rewards. If you kill enough mobs even the rarest items will certainly start dropping. So, in my mind this isn’t a case of extraordinary luck. If the Wolftaken are more akin to spirit masters in how they obtain spirit bones, it becomes even less a matter of luck, since powerful spirit masters, especially those with a lot of backing, are more likely to have at least one spirit bone. In that case, the Wolftaken leader could be compared to, say, Shi Nian (the Brutal Dream spirit sage Tang San killed with Yama’s Invitation).
If you want cases of luck, I’d mention how Tang San got an external spirit bone (twice, technically; the Spider Lances just cannibalized the second one), or how Oscar’s Mirror Image Beast came packed with a skull bone.

He can use both because as it explained earlier domains are not limited to just the spirit. They can be activated without activating the spirit. They are “innate” even though the death God domain wad acquired. It’s still considered “innate”.

He can use both at the same time but the effect is weaker if he is not using the spirit that the domain is inscribed into. I think that this was mentioned during his fight with Xue Qinghe where he switches to his hamer and increases the death god domains power to push away the angelick domain a bit more.

the thing is they don’t really have a fixed schedule, some weeks we don’t have chapter and another we have Jackpot (One time they released six chapter on one week end (halloween I think).
but they become more scheduled since they work all thre on that translation now

I’ve considered doing the same thing. With Bagelson quitting translating and Owl404 M.I.A the team has gone down to just Piggybottle and a new editor, strider I believe. But it seems only a matter of time before Piggybottle burnsout off its just him translating. Sucks, I wish I knew Chinese, this novel is remarkable.

I honestly don’t know where people keep seeing Bagel saying he is going to stop translating this novel he translated 203 which Owl claimed nearly a month ago and never got to he also translated 202. Don’t forget Bagel is a student as well so I wouldn’t be surprised if hes been busy with finals/midterms. If anything he has just been looking for people to help him with this novel so you would get consistent releases of at least one to two chapters a week and they have only been doing it for a few months which has been great. However google drive has been totally dead for the past few weeks making it hard to get any translating done for all of the translators in addition to owl going missing again.

Because at least before when things like this happened Bagelson would drop in later saying “oh sorry binge read X series” but there hasn’t been a single word from Bagelson for WEEKS. Piggybottle is the only one who has checked in so to speak, so it leads me to believe Bagelson is on his way out the door. Owl404 has been MIA for just as long so he might have already quit! You know as much as I do and you saying they’re NOT dropping it is just as informed as me saying they ARE. Show me some responses from Bagelson as to why he has been so silent and what’s been going on with translations and I’ll assume you’re right. Until then, I’m sticking with Bagelson is leaving translation of DD. Because honestly just looking at the last couple of weeks and the fact that nothing he usually updates has been updated FOR WEEKS, he has one foot out the door. A d don’t blame GD, the drive got wayyyyy better after everyone went to discord, but still no changes.

I dont get why authors love to hype people then afterwards nerf them.
Based on the strength shown, Tang San should have no problem killing all 300 wolftaken by himself, just using physical attacks (spider lances) and by absorbing their vitality he would never tire.
His absorption ability should make him kinda invincible against innumerable weak mobs.
And against someone his own level he needed to use a trump card, while he had the overloard spear or even his hammer ? Wasnt him fighting someone way stronger than him (transex prince lol) not so many chapter`s ago ?

Tang San couldn’t have killed 300 even if he had died. With his strength, he could win against a spirit master 10 ranks higher than him easily, PROVIDED they do not restrict his spirit, ASSUMING they have physical strength of that of a normal human. Wolftaken were significantly stronger PHYSICALLY than a normal human. Besides they were ferocious.
Coming to the 2nd part, the strength of that cyan wolf could be estimated by:
“Suddenly, a large force collided with him from the side, forcing him to withdraw his Eight Spider Lances and sending him tumbling away in the air. That impact made the blood in in his chest rumble.

He used his trump card in order to help Mubai and Fatty who were being overwhelmed.

I think Boss Dai was okay. He had yet to release past the 4th spirit ring, but Fatty was in a dire situation, since he got so injured in the sneak attack, and the opponent was much faster than him, he was at a major disadvantage. Had Tang San not acted when and how he did, even though Fatty has tremendous power it wouldn’t have meant shit since he couldn’t hit the cyan Wolftaken attacking him. Which is another reason Tang San used a trumpcard

If anyone wants to read something whilst waiting for a new DLDL release you could try Tower Of God by SIU, its a korean webtoon thats really good that also has a gifted but clueless MC similar to Tang San in that they both come from different worlds & are amazing when they get thrown into their new lives. Its coloured & comes out weekly. I would also like to point out to people to stop bitching & whining about when we’re all gonna get a new chapter, fuck! Chill the fuck down! People have lives & the translators aren’t your property so go play some xbox or something.
