I just want to give some info,
YOUR FACE, in Javanese (Indonesia) culture is exactly a CURSE !, that’s why I’m understand completely about this term.
FACE In Javanese has several words, 1. “pasuryan” (polite term) 2. “rai” (ordinary / bad term) and when make a curse YOUR FACE, we use the 2nd term,
it was an insult and its mean like “your a*s”.
and I’m sorry because my lack of vocabulary, I can’t explain enough.
But I really ‘feel’ ths YOUR FACE TERM
ha ha ha
actually there’s several curse in Javanese that using “your” + ” part of body”.
Like Your eyes, your mouth, your head. etc
all of them use different word (not polite one of course)

Personally I think it works just fine in English as well, but keep in mind that “your face” really is a result of translator discretion, and not a literal translation.

I really hope he has some water walking technique from his past life, or at least a swimming technique.

Those two spirit masters can have “gills” even though their spirits are seals as long as they have assimilated a compatible spirit ring.. Like Tang-san, whose spirit doesn’t have thorns before. So it’s not improbable for them to have “gills”. They can have almost an infinite number of forms or variation for a spirit, as long as they’ve been given a proper, compatible ring..

Example:

My Foot is just thing that was basically introduced by those idiotic “pure” people who think that “ass” is too strong of a cuss word and should never be said under any circumstances. it’s basically the same thing, just… a “lighter” version that “isn’t cussing” apparently. ughh, i hate that kind of person with a burning passion… too busy being “pure” to focus on actually accomplishing shit and as such so damn incompetent in nearly everything i’ve seen them try, with few exceptions…
