I’m pretty sure that the guy in the shroud is lvl 100 seeing as he was called sea god and rank 100 are rumored to become gods if i remember correctly also that guy damaged that whales eye 20000 years ago which is way out of the lifespan of titled doulou.
Hm… should have thought of that…. Wouldn’t it be interesting if he’s actually the whale’s pops or something! I can already imagine the drama if later in the journey Tang San would go after the whales spirit 😛
Also now that i think of it he might not be either of those because it looks like he’s only a suprimely powerful spirit in a artifact…
i wonder if tang san really would go to get the wales spirit ring, after all he does not have a water based spirit to benefit from it and the super-duper-energy-blast is kind of unsuitable for his grass in my opinion. could totally imagine him getting the ring for his hammer later tho 😀 hammers have to hit hard after all 😛
About the water part i thought that plants have water in them but the energy blast bit sliped my mind somehow 😛 And just imagine the hammer with such impact 😀

Awesome week. Thanks for all the effort on the translations. I’m really glad things didn’t end on the cliffhanger. I suppose this makes the being inside the vast sea cosmic shroud the Sea God. Oh, and is it just me, or does it seem like they’re breaking the rule about spirit beasts only living for 1,000 years after reaching 100,000 and not being able to evolve further unless they choose to become human. I know it was still ambiguous, but it really seems like that was the case with the demon whale.
Well to be fair the “rule” was based on the grandmasters research and he 100,000 year spirit beasts are not common so his assumptions could very easily be wrong and the spirit beast can actually live much longer than that.
From what I understand there is some sort of way that lets spirit beasts increase their lifespan which gets progressively harder the older the spirit beast is and the only way to live forever is to become a human and make it to level 100.
Keep in mind that this is mostly inferences from what has happened in the DD 2 manhwa that is translated so far and every time a light novel becomes a manhwa it loses a lot of information.
Actually the voice did mention a “Brat” and dragon tranaformation… i feel like the Demonic Whale went thru a special Stage and it is an exception to that rule

Why didn’t he put the rest of the Shrek Seven Devils in his purse like he does occasionally with Xiao Wu, apparently it’s not a nice place to be in, but she seems to be fine even still. Surely he could get away on his own a lot easier than this self-sacrifice bullcrap. And using the Hell White Tiger against that thing, really? At most they could stop it for a fraction of a second and then be completely drained and dead weight after.
Tang San using teleportion + golden body + the sixth spirit ring should be able to get high enough into the air for the whale to not be able to kill him. But, Tang San needed a power up, so he gets to drain the energy and survive, I’m kinda surprised the author didn’t allow him to kill the beast and get his first spirit ring for his hammer. But I guess he followed the Tropic Thunder rule.
Why does it feel like that very OP thing called Yama’s Invitation was conveniently forgotten ….
Surely there was time to throw a dozen of those into one of the whales puncture wounds…..
They’re suprimely hard to make and are made from extrimely rare poisons so not suprised about that really, Besides i’m pretty sure Tang San doesn’t have any more of those since he used the 2 that he had left in the forest when Xiao Wu got killed 😛
Beside the fact that Tang San used up all of them during his rescue of Xiao Wu, I think the whale may have been simply too large for Yama’s Invitation to kill. Even concentrated poisons have limits to what they can affect, after all.
Furthermore, Yama’s Invitation requires a lot of inner strength to use. I think that if Tang San were to focus that much power and mental focus on unleashing multiple Yama’s Invitations, he probably wouldn’t be able to activate Invincible Golden Body and would have been obliterated by the whale’s power.
10 days marathon and I finally reached the final translated chapter, I feel so empty now without any more chapters to read 😦

The drive folder shows an estimate of progression of chapters on there current status. They chapters arent uploaded directly to the drive unless its an older chapter, i believe. They host it on this site for new ones
It depends on when the chapters get proof read & fully completed & honestly its up to the translators when they want to drop them. Usually they wait til they’ve completed a few chapters but not always. Usually on Sunday but not always. We fans wait til they grace us with their presence, its almost heavenly haha
There is another private google drive now, which you all should not have access to. That’s where all the new chapters are. All i can say is that i done chapter 211 sometime ago, and chapter 212 just today, but they are waiting on edits and bagel.

Don’t understand MC’s thought process when it comes to putting xiao wu in the spirit tool pouch. Sometimes he puts her in there sometimes he doesn’t. Yet here when there’s extreme danger he is suddenly uncomfortable in putting her in there. The safest place for her to be at this moment he doesnt feel like.

Ghost = ghost douluo, crhrysantemum = chrysantemum douluo, crown = perhaps bibidong herself, sword = sword douluo chen xin – seven treasured clan, hammer = clear sky douluo, tang hao – clear sky clan, dragon = blue lightning tyrant dragon clan.

Don’t understand MC’s thought process when it comes to putting xiao wu in the spirit tool pouch. Sometimes he puts her in there sometimes he doesn’t.
