We all know tang san spirit power lvl is gonna go way up during this trials, and that he may also reach the title duoluo level, but it’s been said frequently during this last few chapters that spirit rings from sea spirit beasts are not a good match for them. This would mean that while Tang San may be able to reach lvl 90 of spirit power (grandmaster’s theory, way stratched), he would still be stucked at the avatar level. Unless…this seagod affinity has, among others, the effect of adapting his spirit to an “anfibian” spirit, so to say.
I believe it was spirit masters can absorb any type of spirit rings (not talking about years). They opt to absorb rings that are compatible with their spirits. Otherwise it would be useless.
Well Grandmaster did say in the very beginning when Tang San got his first ring that Blue Silver Grass is very adaptive, able to absorb almost any kind of spirit beast. Though I agree that the Sea God Affinity may be able to make him a Title Douluo equivalent with out any spirit rings. Meaning that he’d be able to use that cultivation but wouldn’t be able to use the Eighth or Ninth Spirit Rings
And the Sea God AFFINITY is his relationship with the Sea God. The higher it is the better his prowess and authority.
Well, Seagod Affinity, means his affinity to the SeaGod. So he might gain SeaGod like abilities, not just spirit abilities or sea sea spirit abilities. 🙂
well this is no brainer, if you guys read manhua that is translated in certain mangasite like mangahen, there are scanlation team that translate Doluo Dalu and all its variation, Doluo Dalu, Doluo Dalu Jiushi Tangmen (Doluo Dalu II), Doluo Dalu God Realm tales, Doluo Dalu tale of the dragon (or something). In the God realm after ascension, Tang San title was Sea God, so yea, there it is your answer. This is his path on transcending into a God.
I feel like Tang San’s Trials is preparing him into becoming the vessel for the Sea God. Either Tang San become’s the Sea God’s incarnation, where his consciousness is consumed or merged with the Sea God’s, or he become like a Medium, where he can channel the Sea God’s powers on whim.
Tang san is gonna reach level 100 and become a god of his own. Maybe he’ll become the next sea god. Are gods truly immortal? maybe they just live way longer than humans, and when it’s finally time for them to kick the bucket they find a successor

There are plenty of plants in the ocean as well, and one would image there are thus plant-type spirit beasts in the ocean as well. IMO it wouldn’t be extraordinary for there to be a highly compatible sea spirit beast, especially since the sea is far less hunted by spirit masters than land.
Wasn’t most of the point of food system spirit masters supplying armies and stuff with food? So shouldn’t they not have to worry about food, just about getting sick of sausage? Eh, no matter.

When u said really shine I started imagining him getting silver sausage armour which can adapt to any weapon he’s holding, so the crossbow for instance, and start rapid firing sausages of varying effects. 😂😂

I really… don’t get you guys imagination…. As if that would ever happen!!! So it doesn’t make sense for him to have some kind of armor and weapon enhancement when he has the mirror sausage! It will be something worthy of the most talented Food System Spirit Master and a 7th Spirit Ring was stated in THIS and LAST chapter that the 7th Spirit Ring is the most important Ring for a Spirit Master. This is because it takes all the capabilities of their Spirit to the maximum, it gets closer the higher the quality of the Ring, though.
So Conclusion? It will be of equal or greater use than the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda. Not only this, he will also be the most crucial for wars, being stranded, (as they technically are now and Tang San implied) when they are starving, etc. Anytime food is need which is everyday, Oscar will be their for them. But the point is that he is NOT going to get some kind of bodily sausage armor!! But be the reason they are able to stay alive for a year, because they don’t have enough rations and they can’t kill the Sea Spirit Beasts, so Oscar is the only choice. Plus do you REALLY think that ever since they learned the effects of his 3rd Spirit Ring that they have ever laughed at his effects, AGAIN!? No he started to TRULY be useful ever since then and has gotten increasingly more useful and seen as an equal, especially since getting his 5th Spirit Ring the Mirror Sausage!!

So I think tang San has to tap into that an not only calm the strong spirit beasts,since they cant kill them nor use spirit abilities,but also the storm of waves blocking their path. And or they must tame the spirit beasts residing in the sea god mountain lake,cause spirit beats past a certain year can have human like or level of intelligence,and since they must be strong enough to hinder the seven I’d say at least 70000 years old if not older.Then use the spirit beasts power and abilities to break through.

1 “Peak level one trial one ninth complete, superimposing reward” this could mean that the reward will be given once she is resurected or that it was given to someone else for now.
2. The Sea God (or at least a part of him) resides in the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud so even if he isn’t all knowing he would still know of Tang Sans plan which would finish in him giving up all his rings to Xiao Wu. So by giving him the reword he would ensure that she will recive it and he qould also give his new succesor (I asume that that is what the trials are about, since the old Sea God is losing power and if Tang San fails the whole illang will be scrued) an upgrade to his strenght which he will desparatly need for the next trials.
We will find out only after this trial since right now his rings are sealed.

No read it Again! It says that afterwards, when he passed the trial, he was healed even his back bones. And his spirit power was recovered to its peak. So i think that this so called Super Imposing reward was this recovery. And this Sea God Affinity may seem like nothing now. But I assure you this Affinity will rear its head in a magnificent way! If you are willing to read the Legend of the God Realm. You will see that he is so Bad ass that everyone but the other Six Devils, his family and the Main Antagonist fear him. But I would not, because it is after the main character of Douluo Dalu II and his wife are adults. As i said in another comment that that story is the 4th Book.
But he was completely fine after the Trial. But he still needed to cultivate to smooth out his cultivation to a controllable degree.
Really enjoyed the last two chapters! Looking forward to more trials. I hope that Tang San will cultivate to Title Duo and then Xiao Wu coincidently recovers through some means (other than Tang San giving up rings). Not sure how realistic it is since he ‘has’ her rings though.
Wtf ning gets 500 years of cultivaton on her rings, while tang only gets 5 percent seagod affinity. I hope these 5 percent are something really good, or it wont be fair with him having to go trough the trial at three times her difficulty.
It totally didn’t make sense. She already gave all her power that was in her own spirit rings to him, so how can she use them again as if she regained her own body and rings? It’s a super dumb plot armour the author is giving this useless bunny.
The worst thing is, she can kick him up 8 steps in 3 seconds! Just how useless our MC is! He has the super powerful evolved Asura Domain and he only gets to use it for ONE bloody step while the bunny gets to show off by getting him up 8 steps!! Can the author give her some proper respect and dignity by not ass pulling her power to such an extent? What the hell? He’s stepping on his MC in order to pull his heroine up the rank!

I don’t think Tang San needs seagod affinity to absorb seabeast spiritrings. His spirits are toolspirits after all.

Did Tang San lose his external spirit bone?? Or was it also regenerated by the golden light along with his injuries?

Really enjoyed the last two chapters! Looking forward to more trials. I hope that Tang San will cultivate to Title Duo and then Xiao Wu coincidently recovers through some means (other than Tang San giving up rings). Not sure how realistic it is since he ‘has’ her rings though.

Wtf ning gets 500 years of cultivaton on her rings, while tang only gets 5 percent seagod affinity. I hope these 5 percent are something really good, or it wont be fair with him having to go trough the trial at three times her difficulty.

It totally didn’t make sense. She already gave all her power that was in her own spirit rings to him, so how can she use them again as if she regained her own body and rings? It’s a super dumb plot armour the author is giving this useless bunny.
The worst thing is, she can kick him up 8 steps in 3 seconds! Just how useless our MC is! He has the super powerful evolved Asura Domain and he only gets to use it for ONE bloody step while the bunny gets to show off by getting him up 8 steps!! Can the author give her some proper respect and dignity by not ass pulling her power to such an extent? What the hell? He’s stepping on his MC in order to pull his heroine up the rank!
