IMO Lord Sea God should’ve just killed the other 4 titled duoluo instead of bibi dong, already consuming that much mental and spirit power Tang-san could easily escape without resistance and losing all those spirit empire elders would be crippling.

I was under the impression that he can use them now, since he was told he has to wait till he officially becomes the seagod to get the rest. Plus he was told not to disgrace the seagod’s thirteen halberds, meaning not to misuse them. That indicates he should be able to use them now.
Nope reaching 100 means you’ve reached Godhood. You can’t reach God tier if you’re not a sucessor of a previous God hence why Tang Chen is still peak level 99 and so is Bo Saixi. They need to be successors and to complete the trials to reach 100
When Bo saixi was describing godhood, she said that it is actually possible to obtain lvl 100 godhood power by shear force of will, although it is just extremely difficult and rare. You don’t ALWAYS have to inherit the power.
Reaching godhood the normal way required around 600 years of special cultivation, as well as having a mass of believers, at least that’s what Bo Saixi said.
She’s the Pontiff. She has already way too many believers. Getting those two rings would have probably put her on the edge to become a god. Remember what she said, back in the flashes between the sea trials? She was sure to reach godhood in 10 year. This may also be part of the reasons behind the creation of the Spirit Empire
the disadvantage of them to Tang San and Bibi dong are not having Twin spirits, and cultivating to the limits without twin spirits is quite difficult and almost no chance of getting to 100 unless being successor. Correct me if im wrong, i will be glad.
I wonder if Seagod’s display of power will be consumed to Tang San’s spirit power? the fact that the second halberd is not as powerful as Seagod expecting might be a clue but Tang San is watching at ease, as if really nothing, performing this kind of attack sure consume alot spirit power and knowing that Tang San is exhausted at that point, this is impossible. Maybe to his current spirit rank and power he can’t really do this well to a battle with a full rank 99 titled douluo.

Yeah what Anon said is true, if you look at chapter 223, you see that Bibi Dong devoured the previous pontifs (who also had the seraphim spirit) body and soul to change her cultivation to that of Rakshasa. Meanwhile her daughter Ren Xue got the angelic 9 tests, meaning she is Serapim’s successor.
Pretty sure Rakshasa is the evil god (quick google search reveals that in hindu mythology Rakshasa were meneating demons, which fits more with the evil god than the angel god), while the angel god should be Seraphim.
Also lets assume that the 13 Lance’s are Seagods previous spirit abilities before he became a God. That means he had 9+4=13 abilities, or to say it another way, he had 4 hundred-thousand years spirit rings, that’s just as much as Tang San has right now on his first spirit (assuming Xiao Wus ring doesn’t count because he will have to give it up to resurect her). So that would mean Seagod was at least as Badass as Tang San (after all, Seagod only had his own abilities and noting like Tang sect martial arts, or hidden weapons)…..
Now I realize that there is much guessing involved in my whole argumentation, but suddenly I feel like reading Seagods whole story as it’s own light novel!
The Seagod said he moved unhindered for 1000 years. That basically means he didn’t have a single challenge in his entire life, since nothing was capable of hindering him. It sounds like a boring story to me.

Now I impart to you the first three, I will only use them once.” The creating the Golden Thirteen Halberds part leaves me the impression that supports Logan’s thought for me… but then again it might just be some weird chinese way of saying something 😛

Bibi Dong is really abnormal, like Tang San :
– Twin spirits, both coming from king species among spiders. Her parents must have been equally powerful back then,
– An undying ability,
– Two 100 thousand year old spirit bones given by one beast (for her two arms which didn’t hold spirit bones at that time),
– Spirit bone fusion ability (guessed by Grandmaster, chapter 165),
– Two domains (Deathgod domain, and her innate domain).
Her 99th level should be explained by the numerous rings she has : back then, when Xiao Wu sacrificed herself to save Tang San, his level rose directly from the 60th level to the 65th. Perhaps 1 or 2 levels gained for each absorption. It’s cheating.
Not sure that the rings themselves give the boost, I’m pretty sure that the reason Tang San gained those levels was because she Sacrificed herself. Since Bibi Dong almost certainly didn’t have any spirit rings gained in that way her level would be all her own accomplishments. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s how it is.

as for the 3 forms he learned, yes he can use them, but even now when the sea-god spirit himself used them through tang-san’s body as he stated himself: not enough power, they were not at full capacity even with the sea-god executing the forms. hence the 4 titled douluo still alive, and barely enough to force bibi-dong to go into reconstruct mode thus buying time. when tang-san uses them again, obviously, they will be yet weaker.
yes, “normal” titled doulou, even multiple are not his match anymore. but, there are some 97-98 level people ahead still that can give him trouble. spirit hall isn’t just bibi-dong, even if the old 99 fart remains home …
anyways, in this encounter with bibi-dong +4x 90+, he would be dead thrice over,normally.

I like the way you think. Unfortunately I don’t think he will do that, or at least, not for the spirit bones. He has already protected da and er ming, and killed a title Douluo from spirit hall, accomplishing his goal and fulfilling the final condition from the clear sky school. Plus it’s not like he easily beat her, he’s heavily injured too so he could head back. He will only take them all if he determines his strength guarantees he can take them all out without to much harm to himself, and considering his state and that he probably want to check up on er and da ming I think he will just leave for now.
Probably the most disappointing chapter of the series for me. It really exemplifies the worst trait of Douluo Dalu:
“I wrote Tang San into a corner, and I only have 38 abilities to use to get him out… hmm… Oh, I know, I’ll just introduce THIRTEEN new abilities!”
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. It’s lazy writing. What happened to Tang San creatively using his limited abilities together? That was one of the great strengths of the series!
“I can’t use hidden weapons, but I’m out of power for spirit abilities, so I’ll use chunks of broken spirit bone as throwing darts!”
“I’m trapped in a domain that restricts my movement, so I’ll teleport, and then use Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to break his spirit lock on me, and then I’ll use flight o compensate for the different tempos of Perplexing Track and Disorderly Wind Splitting Method”
“I can’t use spirit abilities, but need to break through a Defense Clan’s defense. I’ll use Disorderly Wind Splitting Method on my fist”
“I need to resist this ice-based Fusion attack, but I have no defense abilities. I’ll layer my Grass Prison around myself so the bars act as a wall”
These were the best moments in the series, when we had the clues to figure out a solution, but weren’t able to put the pieces together.
Honestly, I think TJSS has lost track of Tang San’s powers at this point. There are a lot that he just hasn’t used in ages, not because they aren’t useful or appropriate, but because the author has forgotten that they exist. He’s used hidden weapons only once in the past ~50 chapters. He has used mechanical weapons like once in the past 100+ chapters, though that’s more acceptable since he hasn’t gotten any of the top 3 made yet. He hasn’t (to my memory, though I’m less sure of this) used his 4th spirit ring in the past 3 fights, even though the variant Thrust form would have been ideal for fighting the Spirit Hall henchmen. He hasn’t used the Shock absolute in ages. He still has 8 of the “Clear Sky Nine Absolutes” that haven’t even been introduced yet. He hasn’t used his Domain ability to teleport via plants ever, though admittedly it is redundant since he has ANOTHER teleporting power.
Even Bibi Dong had so many powers introduced this chapter that the author seems to have forgotten that she has the Death God Domain, and as an innate domain, it should stack with her Death Spider domain. She literally has had one power previously introduced, and TJSS forgot about it.

TJSS is basically sucking his own MC’s dick. I guess because he shares the ‘Tang’ surname, he gotta be invincible. Logically speaking, he should have one-shotted ghost duoluo, then scooted away while they were shocked.
Even though he is super ultimate mc Tang San, taking on 4 title duoluos should be pretty much impossible at this point, but of course he defeats them and kills Bibi Dong.
Oh yeah, that about finishes the novel, so lets bring her back after dying! Dayum I almost forgot, San still isn’t Seagod, yet!
But doesn’t this mean that the novel has already ended? Other than Bibi Dong, who is San Big Dick’s opponent?
Wasn’t there one more king spirit beast in the forest I mean last time the snake and the ape were trapped in the fusion of ghost and that other dude didn’t another beast come out of the water and freed them, or am I thinking of another series.
The 2 spirit beasts broke out of the fusion domain by themselves after a certain amount of time. I don’t remember exactly what it said, but the 2 TD’s were knocked out for a bit. The only reason the 2 spirit beasts didn’t kill them is because they were so worried about xiau wu and ran off to her immediately after breaking out of the domain.

Sea God – Tang SAN is successor
Rakshaa (angel god of air) – old plontifs child
God of slaughter – Tang San grandfather
And
Evil God- ??? Maybe current plontif

as for the 3 forms he learned, yes he can use them, but even now when the sea-god spirit himself used them through tang-san’s body as he stated himself: not enough power, they were not at full capacity even with the sea-god executing the forms. hence the 4 titled douluo still alive, and barely enough to force bibi-dong to go into reconstruct mode thus buying time. when tang-san uses them again, obviously, they will be yet weaker.
yes, “normal” titled doulou, even multiple are not his match anymore. but, there are some 97-98 level people ahead still that can give him trouble. spirit hall isn’t just bibi-dong, even if the old 99 fart remains home …
anyways, in this encounter with bibi-dong +4x 90+, he would be dead thrice over,normally.

I like the way you think. Unfortunately I don’t think he will do that, or at least, not for the spirit bones. He has already protected da and er ming, and killed a title Douluo from spirit hall, accomplishing his goal and fulfilling the final condition from the clear sky school. Plus it’s not like he easily beat her, he’s heavily injured too so he could head back. He will only take them all if he determines his strength guarantees he can take them all out without to much harm to himself, and considering his state and that he probably want to check up on er and da ming I think he will just leave for now.

Probably the most disappointing chapter of the series for me. It really exemplifies the worst trait of Douluo Dalu:
“I wrote Tang San into a corner, and I only have 38 abilities to use to get him out… hmm… Oh, I know, I’ll just introduce THIRTEEN new abilities!”
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. It’s lazy writing. What happened to Tang San creatively using his limited abilities together? That was one of the great strengths of the series!
“I can’t use hidden weapons, but I’m out of power for spirit abilities, so I’ll use chunks of broken spirit bone as throwing darts!”
“I’m trapped in a domain that restricts my movement, so I’ll teleport, and then use Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to break his spirit lock on me, and then I’ll use flight o compensate for the different tempos of Perplexing Track and Disorderly Wind Splitting Method”
“I can’t use spirit abilities, but need to break through a Defense Clan’s defense. I’ll use Disorderly Wind Splitting Method on my fist”
“I need to resist this ice-based Fusion attack, but I have no defense abilities. I’ll layer my Grass Prison around myself so the bars act as a wall”
These were the best moments in the series, when we had the clues to figure out a solution, but weren’t able to put the pieces together.
Honestly, I think TJSS has lost track of Tang San’s powers at this point. There are a lot that he just hasn’t used in ages, not because they aren’t useful or appropriate, but because the author has forgotten that they exist. He’s used hidden weapons only once in the past ~50 chapters. He has used mechanical weapons like once in the past 100+ chapters, though that’s more acceptable since he hasn’t gotten any of the top 3 made yet. He hasn’t (to my memory, though I’m less sure of this) used his 4th spirit ring in the past 3 fights, even though the variant Thrust form would have been ideal for fighting the Spirit Hall henchmen. He hasn’t used the Shock absolute in ages. He still has 8 of the “Clear Sky Nine Absolutes” that haven’t even been introduced yet. He hasn’t used his Domain ability to teleport via plants ever, though admittedly it is redundant since he has ANOTHER teleporting power.
Even Bibi Dong had so many powers introduced this chapter that the author seems to have forgotten that she has the Death God Domain, and as an innate domain, it should stack with her Death Spider domain. She literally has had one power previously introduced, and TJSS forgot about it.

TJSS is basically sucking his own MC’s dick. I guess because he shares the ‘Tang’ surname, he gotta be invincible. Logically speaking, he should have one-shotted ghost duoluo, then scooted away while they were shocked.
Even though he is super ultimate mc Tang San, taking on 4 title duoluos should be pretty much impossible at this point, but of course he defeats them and kills Bibi Dong.
Oh yeah, that about finishes the novel, so lets bring her back after dying! Dayum I almost forgot, San still isn’t Seagod, yet!
But doesn’t this mean that the novel has already ended? Other than Bibi Dong, who is San Big Dick’s opponent?

Wasn’t there one more king spirit beast in the forest I mean last time the snake and the ape were trapped in the fusion of ghost and that other dude didn’t another beast come out of the water and freed them, or am I thinking of another series.

The 2 spirit beasts broke out of the fusion domain by themselves after a certain amount of time. I don’t remember exactly what it said, but the 2 TD’s were knocked out for a bit. The only reason the 2 spirit beasts didn’t kill them is because they were so worried about xiau wu and ran off to her immediately after breaking out of the domain.
