  2. Thanks for the chapter Bagelson! I find it so fitting that the chapters in which both pairs of lovers are reunited at last, are translated and released in the month that Valentine’s Day is celebrated. What a beautiful coincidence. :’)

    • He planned all of this. Slowly pushing out the translations just barely reaching the point where it would end up exactly at this point two days before Valentine’s day, just so we could bawl our eyes out at this story

  3. HURRAH CHAPTER BABY
    THANKS BAGEL GOD
    PS
    Not sure if intentional, but
    Tang San promised, and pulled out the nearby Seagod Trident. Saying godby to his father, they flew up and over the mountaintop, arriving in the Sunset Forest.
    godby indeed

    • Do you remember the moment, where Lu Erlong and Grandmaster were sleeping behind a rock, and a scorpion attacked the kids, which disturbed those two from finally being together ? I feel pity for this poor fella xD

      • Yeah, similar vibes, but I think this one will get a quicker death. Erlong just straight up wanted to torture that thing, while Tang San will probably kill this one faster, though not necessarily less painfully.

      • That never happened…? At least not in the novel and let’s not talk about that sh*tty manhua..

        Seriously – lot of people complain about the drawing style of DD2, that it’s too girly. But DD2 closely follows the original story, while DD seems like a version for small kids where the plot gets more and more stupid…

        • No, it did happened in the novel IIRC. It was when the Shrek team were hunting their 4th spirit ring before the competition. It was a pretty hilarious scene in a tent where there were Flender and Zhao Wuji who sealed their ears because they noticed Erlong was seducing Grandmaster and was nearly succeeding until the they’re attacked by spirit beast.

      • Ahhh I almost forgot about that one I don’t think I’ve seen a worse beating in this story yet!! You’d think these silly creatures would learn to NEVER EVER disturb a couple while they are having a tender moment 😂

  4. Thanks for the chapter. A really nice chapter, with a funny end; at least he has a perfect volunteer for his 4th spirit ring. I’m also loving the idea of seeing his parents kick ass again

  5. You’d think that spider would know better, that it could feel the difference and the world of hurt it would bring upon itself if it attacked.

    But then Tang San wouldn’t get any rings, so it all works out.

  6. I’m surprised that for rank 70+ transformed spirit beasts need to kill for spirit rings. Was this ever mentioned before? Xiao Wu’s going to have to kill some bunny rabbits? 😦

      • Well actually, Xiao Wu had specifically told Da Ming before that she would not hunt spirit beasts. Back when he was first introduced she said she wouldn’t do it, but couldn’t stop her human companions from doing so. That’s another contradiction to add to the now very long list.

        • There are less 100k spirit beast that are willing to cultivate human form so basically Xiao Wu didn’t have that much of understanding regarding this kind of cultivation. At first she is still a spirit beast with human form so she basically know what to do but after stepping to a whole new level, unknown to her she began realizing that the only way to advance as a Real Human is to do what they do to advance so even if it’s contradict to her beliefs, if she want to power up she need at least a spirit ring whether it is a God Bestowed or from a Spirit Beast

    • I don’t know that spider would be envious to this kind of thing, don’t kill the spider just because … Ah what ever just make it fast and painless and return to what you’re doing.

      • Well, he needs a high cultivation Pit Demon Spider to replace his fourth Spirit Ring (remember, Bo Saixi said spirit beats had to be the same type of spirit beats (so, I don’t know what he’s going to do about his sixth spirit ring, but I guess we’ll find out)), and because of the promise he just made Xiao Wu, it has to be antagonistic first… This was inevitable. I honestly expected another Man-Faced Demon Spider first, though.

        • She didn’t necessarily say they had to be the same, just that killing the same beast for that ring would be beneficial to him because it was the same creature (but higher lvl cultivation) instead of being a different one and causing minor problems since his soul was already linked to that ring with that spirit beasts ability

    • I see either She kicks it into oblivion or tang throws the trident and spears it for a instant death but either way the spider shall taste a swift death

      Like

      • I doubt he will give the spider an instant death, it’s been stated several times that the more fear and anger a spirit beast has when it dies the better the result of its spirit ring and also increases the chance for spirit bone to drop. He will most likely toy with spider and then give it an unimaginably horrific death.

        • The jealousy of the spider over to that Love Birds might be enough to bear grudges straight to its bone marrows and an instant spirit bone atleast is guaranteed and will be given to other SSD

    • I know, right? Spiders everywhere.
      That spider that became Tang San’s 3rd ring and external bone;
      That woman with spider hair during grandmaster’s 2nd stage training;
      That spider that became Tang San’s 4th ring;
      That spider that attacked Xiao Wu in the Sunset forest;
      That dude with electric spider that hurt Xiao Wu during the Continental Turnament;
      That spider that prevented Tang San and Xiao Wu’s escape in Star Dou Great Forest;
      That pontiff with twin spiders;
      And now this spider.

  7. I wonder what is the cultivation age of this Pit Demon Spider, probably around 40-60k judging by it’s nature to attack beings with ability to conceal their presence and knowing that this spider is pretty trickster

    • If you go back to around chapter 50-80 it tells you all their god Damn douluo titles… I’m tired of people acting shocked or excited that they found out their douluo titles……people need to start fucking remembering what they read.

    • It was mentioned way in the beginning of the novel that the spider is a hunter that works alone because they’re incredibly aggressive so that would be practically impossible to see a bunch together unless he did the herb thing and attracted a bunch of monsters together again

    • You shouldn’t have done that mate. I read it in like a day. And by that I mean, I started reading it at around 6 am, and finished it at 6 am, that was maybe 2 – 3 months ago. Now we both have to wait 😦

  8. Now that I’ve caught up here’s some random thoughts:

    Do you think Tang San will eventually be able to use both his spirits at the same time? I know it’s been clearly stated that he can’t, but to me it looks like an inevitable step towards even more OPness.

    When Tang Chen had just been purified and summoned his clear sky hammer it became the Asura’s sword. I think that’s a hint that Tang San’s clear sky hammer and Seagod’s trident might also fuse to some extent.

    I wonder if Xiao Wu now has 6 self created rings and no spirit bone; or if Tang San’s first 4 rings plus Xiao Wu’s red ring and Xiao Wu’s bone have actually become her abilities.

    • Knowing Little San he can make the impossible possible and right know that he witnessed that Bibi Dong is capable of breaking one, like when she change her spirit without withdrawing the other spirit first, then why would little San is not capable of doing much difficult feats as dual spirits usage at the same time? Though at his current level he can do the meteor hammer with just his Catching Crane Controlling Dragon.

  9. Will Tang San use his newly aquired spirit rings to teach this poor spider a lesson? I for one want to see the abilities on his hammer…
    This pit spider is about to learn the hard way not to get between a man and his lady…

  10. Tang San completed all 3 trials the elders gave him right? They promised they give the 2 spirit bones back once he completes all 3. Did Tang San and Tang Hao forget?

    Like

    • They promised to give the spirit bones to him, so they should still have them ready; it’s just whether they’d be willing to give them back to Tang Hao rather than other members since the elders seem to think he was in the wrong, so they could end up saying the deal was to let Tang San absorb them, not let him have them. Not that it really matters since his great granddad and his uncle would both agree to it, not to mention Tang San’s authority and Title Douluo strength.

      Like

      • The elders’ opinions don’t mean anything at this point. Tang San’s stronger than any of them, and he’s got his Great Grandfather backing him. All they can do at this point is quietly obey and hope they haven’t pissed him off too much with all they’ve done up to this point. I’d love to see what Tang San does if one of them insults his father, mwa ha ha.

        • But I’m much concern whether Tang Chen will settledown with Bo Saixi and became a couple despite their age. Another powerful figure will Back him

  11. cheers for new chapter! thanks a lot Bagelson, ser!

    Btw, for some reason, Tang San gave off a weird characteristic at times, at least for me. It`s like his atmosphere change from protagonist to deutagonist at some points. I wonder why? maybe because when he`s upset, maybe?

  12. What i dont get though is when he said the spirit bone ability cannot grow flesh from bone but it can grow a severed limb…..shouldnt it be easier to grow flesh from bone than an entire limb that got cut off. seems a bit off to me

    Like

    • I guess they meant that it can’t start regenerating from bone as starting tissue, or if the bones are still somehow dangling there after, for example, scorching off the flesh, there can be complications with regenerating the dead tissue and it would be easier to just straigth up regrow it. After all the ability comes from a plant and plants rather regrow than revitalize.

      Like

    • He mean that in order for him to grow another limb for Tang Hao he needed a Bone, since the Bones that Tang Hao losses are spirit bone that can still be attached(somehow) and those Spirit bones are still around without owner and still remember by Tang Hao’s body he just needed to reattached the spirit bones and uses the Healing ability of left leg Bone to grow flesh to seal the spirit to bones and became a new limb for Tang Hao.

      • Dis. It’s just a metaphor for saying he can’t resurrect the dead with this method but as long as parts of the body remain he can help them regenerate.

  13. Thanks for the chapter.

    Poor spider ! I wonder who will attack first. Xiao Wu, like her mother against that scorpion which broke her happy moment ? Or Tang San ? It’s obvious he will deliver the killing blow, but the fight will be interesting.

    I hope Tang San’s title as a Title Douluo will be “Doctor Octopus”. With his external spirit bone, his status of all spiders’ nemesis and his abilities in medecine and poisons, he really deserves such a nickname ! 😉

    Thanks again. The happy end to Xiao Wu’s arc is a real pleasure after so many deaths.

  14. Golden Invincible Body? More like Golden Invincible Plot armour. The post-seagod chapters feel like a completely different author to the pre-seagod chapters. The old ones had grit. The new one is like “Here’s them most perfect of perfect protagonists who has all the nice things happen to him. Don’t worry, because nothing bad will ever really happen to him and he will become a perfect god.”
