I found this web novel by Dancing (跳舞) through the efforts of A013 who started by translating chapters 1-15. I’ve since read a few chapters ahead and found it to be too interesting not to see at least an attempt at translation.

This will very much be a side project for when I feel I need a break from Douluo Dalu. If anyone else fancies taking it up instead, let me know.

Note that some names may be different than in A013’s translation.

  11. These chapters are incredibly short compared to Douluo Dalu, and they’re not as good either. (at least, the plot is much, much, slower) I don’t like being a buzz kill but I’d prefer it if you kept more attention on Douluo Dalu.

      • Fair enough, I was just getting a little annoyed, there hadn’t been much progress in the last few days and it was driving me crazy, and last night ren decided that he couldn’t push out his 4th coiling dragon so I just couldn’t keep myself together. Law of the Devil is interesting, I look forward to more, but for now I am focused on Douluo, heh.

      • Try reading The Golden Sun Trilogy then. I only read the first book and half of the second waiting for the book to get good. (I had one of those 3 in 1 books and didn’t realize I was into the second book at the time)

      • probably yeah. i searched for the name 若琳 in the later chapters. she doesnt appear much and in the 500-600s she’s not even there. idk. i was curious since their meeting was historic or something. i thought it was historical for them. meh. looking forward for more but dont neglect douliu dalu XD thanks again.

  23. I was try systrans as you suggested but my brain only can chew 50-75% of the story, the pace is so slow toomany unnecessary conversations. It is almost look alike Gu Long book, some incident. As we already know gu long character gains powerups by adventuring getting sum item, like 1000 year ginseng, or mushroom, get a book in some cave etc. I thin this author try to combine western element with gu long element. And this would be fantastic piece of story eventhough the pace is so slow. And your translations is terrific, i was thought that you`ll take over zhan long from shorty. But after you find this piece of gems i think this story is a lot better. Btw thanks from translate this, and for a reader i expect this just like typical gu long story with harem element, and also a lot matured scene too. So for daluo dalu reader beware this is not for kids. And i already suspect this story is either from gu long student or his fans. So be aware. Note: sorry for my english, english is not my mother language.

    I’m liking it, but there are a few logic holes I’m having an issue with. If he’s in another world why is the big dipper there too? And you know… the sun is a star, so shouldn’t the light from it be helpful?
    Can anyone confirm if the author addresses this?
    Also I’m sad roylnn isn’t the heroine.

    • First of all he doesnt know that this is the same with his planet or not. Second the logic you talkin about is the logic of this world where there is no magic, and all logic from.previous world obviously not workin here but some mechanical engineer, language logic, some sport like soccer can work here.

    • Because what he intends to learn is against religious beliefs. It can be compared to Charles Darwin and evolution against christian beliefs.

From qystrans and google looks like the novelist is addicted to soccer gamble, he use some name in soccer like solkjaer (in here bagel use thorkel) and because no spoiler policy i cant tell u anything more. Eventhough. Combat continent is childish, but the plot is better than this one. I think the author Using gulong style and also combineit with little bit other famous author such as huang ying, iew element. When u read further deep this author definitely in lower quality eventhough not much than combat continent author. And. Later in the chap u will see a lot of thing that i can describe as delusional high author or might be he just a drugs abuser author like Gu Long was. So if you like adult taste story with childish illusions try this, like bagelson said using systrans you couuld still reach what the story all about. But i definitely wanna said daluo dalu is better thant this one, and blue silver trans use this as side project is great decisions and might be1chap a week is good because they had to to work daluo dalu as the main project.   55. Middle age setting. Knights, Lords, Mages and Magic. A little Lord at the north of the Continent. The little Lord’s family owning the north. Although there is no gore and not much sex scenes, this is clearly Game of Thrones. Good read though! I enjoyed it. Hoping for more chapters to come!

  60. I see why you dropped it. Reading from chapter 25-40 I was incredibly let down. What looked like the start of an amazing adventure with a great MC and some good characters. It quickly got average and boring.

    I spoke with someone who read the raws and was told it is completely action less and dull until chapter 130. Even then it is not great.

    So on that note, great translation on your side, but I am out.
